This place sells churros like it's going out of style and the place smells divine... We've been searching for a place that sells churros like a small booth we found in Ensenada. They were freshly fried and filled with condensed milk, chocolate, or other fruity fillings, and the churro was crispy and a little slightly chewy but airy. I had researched a few places on Yelp but these were definitely the closest match. We tried to call on a Thursday evening to make sure they were open but I didn't get an answer. We took a chance and made the journey here anyway. However, I'm pretty sure they were so busy, no one had time to answer. The parking lot was pretty packed but people seemed to come and go. The line wasn't too long in that they asked people to stand 6 feet apart on the signs in front and seemed longer and it went pretty slow... The staff appeared very busy and trying to do their best. It was a bit disorganized but somehow, when we finally got to eat their glorious made to order churros (we bought two with cajeta filling), it didn't matter. They could do no wrong. Since the line was such a long wait, I ended up chatting with another lady just before us. She mentioned that the place used to be a small storefront to the side of the building. The actual store took over the rest of the building which used to be a carniceria (meat shop) and the owner was still the lady taking orders in the front working hard as ever. It was endearing to imagine how far this owner's business has become through word of mouth and most likely , Yelp. She also had great customer service and seemed to really care about your experience when you spoke to her and she gave you your fresh churros or desserts. The flan and milk pudding were also great. They had a selection of other delicious cakes. Either way, this was definitely the spot to hit up in the City of Commerce. Very small hood bakery. Not too much selection, just 3-5 half-empty racks of pan dulce. They were good but I need to have more options. My friend had a guava-filled churro. I'd venture to say this is the best churro place in Southern California. It's a little out of the way, but so worth it. In the last few years they started carrying jericallas and a lot of different type of flans. They also have stuffed churros with cajeta and guava. Churros! I haven't tried anything else here but their churros, however everything looks and smells amazing! Usually this is where I go to for party size orders of churros. Price isn't too bad and the churros are so delicious. Every time I bring these for parties or events, people get all giggly. Maybe it's because places Disneyland charge between $6-$7 per churro. The churros are really good. I tried both the filled ones and the regular ones. The filled ones have way too much filling and it's super heavy. I prefer the regular churros. The first time we came here, we just wanted 2 churros. No one helped us for about 5 min, and when they finally took our order and gave us our churros a min later, we couldn't find anyone to tell us how much they were and who to pay for about 8 min. There was a lady who took a phone call rather than just charging us for the churros that were already in our hands and a man who just kept speaking Spanish to us even after we said we don't speak Spanish. We finally got someone to tell us that they cost $1.5 but walked away before we can pay him. So we just put down $2 and left. It was a weird experience. The 2nd time we came, I ordered a few dozen churros the night before, but when we got to the bakery, they said they don't have our order ready and we had to wait another 10min. We were at Costco business and was craving for something sweet. So naturally I hopped on Yelp for something nearby. That's what brought us here. We stopped in for from fresh filled churros and a slice of tres leche cake. Small shop with it's own parking lot. The shop was clean and offered hand sanitizer upon entering. Ordered some cajeta filled churros and they were pretty good. Hubby picked up a slice of plain tres leche. I thought it was pretty good but he didn't care for the mocha? taste. Theeey're Greeeat!!! I went early in the morning about 7am for some Churros and waited about 5min. For the churros to be done and WOW! It was worth the wait! They were what you call "Piping Hot" I had to proceed with caution so I didn't burn my mouth but the taste was so good especially with the sugar all over it my wife and I were goin' fer it I recommend you experience the taste of these churros as soon as you can. But wait!!! There's more! You gotta have their champurado it is totally awesome many places are good but what I like about theirs is it's thick and chocolatey.
