I went…read morefor an oil change at my favorite Subaru dealership in Georgetown and walked out with a brand new bright red 2024 Crosstrek. As you get old, you get bold! I had the beauty exactly two weeks, with paper plates still intact. Driving to work on our glorious I35, I was rear ended by a company truck, thank the stars above had insurance. I wanted to puke. I attempted to contact a few body shops suggested by Subaru and they wanted nothing to do with the insurance the company truck carried. I began yelping collision shops. Several 5 star reviews appeared at Certified Auto Body. I took the plunge. They were 5 minutes from my house on Dessau road. Matthew was beyond amazing. We discussed the damage and I made my decision. That was March 29th. Matthew took me to get my rental and the journey. There were so many kinks in the process. The car was a 2024 and Subaru changed the tail lights. None were available and no ETA. I called weekly and god bless Kelly for putting up with me. I gather for several months Subaru HQ led us down the rabbit hole. Long story short short, I contacted Paul, the former service manager at Georgetown Subaru, and lo and behold with his help, Matthew was able to secure the tail light system and the final repairs began. I picked up the car yesterday, September 28th. Matthew told me it would look brand new, I prayed his idea and my idea of brand new were the same. OMG, I forgot what the car looked like in 6 months, but this car looked like it had just come off the showroom floor. I wanted to jump for joy and cry at the same time. Trust, excellence and caring for your customer, is hard to come by. Matthew, Kelly, and Certified Auto Body possess all these qualities and let's add patience as well. On our way home to Austin on a 9 hr drive Tuesday, it occured to me to call Manny and see if he can last minute repair her raggedy bumper for a reasonable price out of our pocket (not hers or insurance). He says yes, but he can't complete it until Tues/Wed of next week. I stress the importance of me getting out of town by next Monday. So what does he do? He gets it done PERFECTLY by Friday. Days in advance for less than it would have cost me where we now live where the work would have been barely mediocre. We really appreciate Manny going out of his way and doing a great job. Manuel is very easy to work with. He worked with my insurance to ensure the damages were covered. I stopped by to visit a few times. Manuel and his crew always made time for me. During the repairs his crew would show me the truck and inform me how the truck was built and how the repairs would go. I recently picked up my truck. The repairs were awesome. My truck looks brand new. They took the time to clean the vehicle inside and out. I'm very appreciative of the great job Manuel and his crew had done. I brought my car in for an estimate. I had run over something in the road at night and afterwards,…read morethe undercarriage was scraping when going over large speed bumps. I was nervous to take it in, because I know being a single female, I could get taken advantage of with estimates and pricing. I was welcomed warmly and the front desk and she summoned Alex to come out and give an estimate. Alex quickly set my mind at ease, he took it back immediately to get it lifted up so he could check the problem. He then took me back to look at it and he explained it was a simple fix to remove the dent on the protective plate and add back the missing clip that holds it in place so it did not hang down. He quickly did the fix and sent me on my way with no cost. This shop has my trust and will be the first place I take my vehicle when it has further issues. I am very thankful to know that I have a courteous and honest place to take my car when I need work done. Totally made my day!!
