They made sure I received all available discounts and walked me through everything with patience and professionalism. That level of care doesn't go unnoticed. What a shitshow! We ordered a new fridge. It was a two week wait for delivery. The delivery day arrived today. The fridge had 2 dents! One on the side. Which since it is in a cabinet would be ok. But, there was a second dent smack dab in the middle of the front panel. The delivery guy said that we could get a discount for the Dent. But, only 20 percent. Uh,no. A brand new 2,000 dollar fridge should not arrive damaged. The box was even damaged. He called to report the damage. A sales person called us to return the damaged fridge to replace with another one. We expected to receive the replacement the next day. Oh no, it is another 2 week wait!!!! We will not have a fridge for two weeks. We already emptied our broken one that was leaking. The delivery guy removed the ice maker cord and kept it. We are literally stuck for two weeks. To add to the hell, we are having a party tomorrow! We could not be more inconvenienced. The representative said we could file a complaint for compensation after the second fridge arrives. Good luck with that right. I am mad and very disappointed with their service. read more

My wife went to the store in Bellflower and was seeking to order a counter ice-maker that was on sale. She already knew it wasn't in stock as advertised. As she appeared to be frustrated because she was informed,?this item could only be ordered online, not thru the store. Along comes reps Tulin &!Ezra to the rescue. We were interested in having our carpet replaced but was undecided if we wanted laminate hardwood floors or carpet. We went into Lowe's today to just look and Martiece approached us with a friendly smile asking was there anything he can help us with? We explained to him our thoughts. He proceeded to show us all of our options, I have to say he was very knowledgeable and definitely knew the products and the specials that were being offered. I was very impressed not just because he knew everything about the products but he was just the nicest guy. No pressure whatsoever!! You can tell he truly cares about the customers and wants what's best for them. If I could give him 10 stars I definitely would. Because of Martiece is why we scheduled an appt to have them come out and give us an estimate. Alex also assisted in the process scheduling the appt and she was very nice!! I made a point before leaving Lowe's to speak to the manager Ryan to commend Martiece on his fabulous customer service. I hope Ryan took the time to personally let Martiece know that he is an awesome employee!!! He should definitely be commended for his customer service! This fundamental mistake caused significant delays and confusion. NO ACCOUNTABILITY The incorrect flooring sat in my apartment for nearly a month while Lowe's and the third-party installer debated who was responsible for picking it up. No one took ownership or acted with urgency to resolve the issue. DELAYED DELIVERY OF CORRECT MATERIALS After a long wait, I finally received the correct flooring. However, the delay had already caused a major disruption to my living space and schedule. DEMOLITION STARTED, THEN ABANDONED The demolition began but was left incomplete with no follow-up. I was left with a partially torn-up home and no communication from anyone involved in the project. I had to call for DAYS, with no follow up, just "our manager will get back to you by end of day". NO ACTION UNTIL A BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU COMPLAINT WAS FILED It was only after I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau that I received a call back to resume and complete the project. This reactive approach is unacceptable and reflects a lack of proper customer service standards. INADEQUATE COMPENSATION After two months of delays, lack of communication, and a compromised living situation, I was offered only $200. This compensation did not begin to cover the stress, time lost from work due scheduled install that never happened, and the complete disruption to my home and daily life. What Lowe's should do better next time: - Take full responsibility for third-party contractors and ensure accountability - Establish a clear and immediate process for correcting order and delivery mistakes - Act promptly to remove incorrect materials to avoid further disruption - Maintain consistent and transparent communication throughout the entire project - Follow up with customers proactively instead of waiting for complaints to escalate publicly - Provide compensation that reflects the actual level of inconvenience and impact - Assign a dedicated project coordinator to oversee the job from start to finish This project was not simply delayed--it was mismanaged from the beginning. order I placed with Lowe's on May 29, 2025, for multiple doors. Since placing the order, I have experienced repeated delays, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability from both Lowe's customer service and the Long Beach store. Despite being given three different delivery dates, each one has passed without the order arriving. Every time I contact Lowe's, I am assured that a new delivery date has been set, only for it to be delayed again without proper explanation. It's now been over a month, and I still have not received my order. I contacted the Long Beach branch manager, but he claimed the issue lies with the manufacturer and stated that he is unable to help. This lack of responsibility from the store is unacceptable, especially given that the order was placed directly through Lowe's. On June 28, 2025, I reached out to Lowe's customer service via online chat to request a refund of the delivery fee and to cancel the order entirely. The representative informed me that the Long Beach store manager would follow up regarding the refund and confirmed that the cancellation process had begun. However, when the manager contacted me, he stated that because the order was already canceled by customer service, he could no longer issue a refund or even provide a store credit. I was left without the doors I ordered, without a delivery fee refund, and without any compensation for the time wasted and the inconvenience caused. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I have done everything on my part to resolve the issue, only to be given inconsistent information and passed between departments without any clear resolution. read more

Our landscaping project has required multiple trips to several home improvement spots. I want to thank the paint department: Roger and Theadry were both extremely helpful. We did not really know what sealer or stain product was best for a wooden fixture we had installed. The contractor had bought a gallon of custom sealer stain but it was not what we wanted. Lowes took it back as a return- I was so surprised! We proceeded to order a different stain - there are smaller tins to mix a sample batch. Theadry mixed up two more sample stains for us. She applied the stains on the pieces of wood we brought with us , but those still did not give us the look we wanted. Roger recommended using a product called Cabot Timber oil instead of simple stain/sealer. It was definitely what we needed. This makes me appreciate that someone has the experience and knowledge to make recommendations to customers - better choices makes a happier outcome. At the end, we did not even have to purchase the small sample tins. We are extremely satisfied with the final results. read more

Came here looking for an over the stove microwave after first going to the Norwalk location and realizing the one showing in stock on the site was just a floor model not for sale, so they directed me to check out this LB location. Unfortunately, the one at this location ended up being a returned item but the staff at the appliance section was able to help me order a new one online that would be shipped free to my house within a couple days. This saved me the trouble of having to load a big ol' microwave into my sedan by myself in the rain, so it was greatly appreciated. Lowes? More like Low In Stock. Also, chronically understaffed with bathrooms that resemble the ones in my high school. The employees that are there really try their best to help you if they can be found. Management runs the place with a barebones staff and minimal inventory. If the website says they have something you need 90% of the time it's not in stock. The aisle titles don't reflect what's on them because management refreshes the store too much. Home Depot is a far better choice if you want to drive another mile up the road. Oh and that gunfire sound you hear in the garden center? Actual gunfire because it backs up to the LBPD firing range. read more

Lawd what a day, just to find a roller shade. First I went to Home Depot only to learn they stopped carrying roller shades. Then spent 45 minutes in the Lowe's on Bellflower Blvd. only to find out the sizing machine for window shades is broken. I zipped over to this Lowe's determined to leave with a d&mn roller shade and hallelujah, I did. Allison (feat. Ray) cut my new roller shade up super fast and it was the perfect size. I grabbed a new shower head and was in and out of the place in 10 minutes. I'll definitely visit this Lowe's for my next home improvement purchase. read more

My husband told me this story this morning when he stopped at Lowe's to pick up yardsticks. He went up to the "Pro" desk and asked the gentleman who appeared to be in his 30's if Lowes has any yardsticks and his quick response was no. My husband then says well I checked your website and it says you do on (whatever isle) it was but I went there and there aren't any. He then checks his computer and asks my husband what size yardstick is he looking for. REALLY???? Come on, it's called a YARDstick. My husband then chuckles but realizes that the gentleman is being serious. He had no clue a yardstick is a yard. So my husband tells him I'd like a YARDstick which is one yard. And then he says yes we have them and they are on isle 14. I'm giving them 4 stars only because we need to remove a star because of his lack of knowing what a yardstick measurement is and SHOULD know that working at Lowes.
