This Ross seems less congested than other locations I've been to. It's located in an area with a lot of parking and a lot of other stores including a poke place, Nekter Juice Bar, Planet Fitness and Vons. I went in looking for baby clothes which is located at the back of the store. Even though there were four racks of clothes, most of the 9 month ones were gone - Also, if you want long sleeved clothing, you won't find them here! They are so tough to find outside of Carters! After walking around the store, I was surprised to find art supplies - Markers, gel pens, drawing paper and coloring books. So instead of going on Amazon or going to Michael's or Hobby Lobb, try your local Ross. There might be something for you at a lower cost. I found some nice glass picture frames but didn't buy anything because I have no where to put them. I also saw they had rows of kitchen ware, beauty supplies, bags and shoes. Service was great. I was the first in line and a cashier was waiting for me. Before you leave a security guard will look at your receipt and mark it. I'll probably be back when my baby outgrows her clothes to find more deals! read more

This Ross Dress for Less has really good items and is in a convenient area with plenty of parking, plus lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. It's usually not too busy, fairly organized, and you can tell the staff tries their best to keep it together. The cashier was friendly, and the security guard at the entrance was especially welcoming. However, my fitting room experience was disappointing. An older employee seemed upset that I removed the hangers from my clothes, even though that usually helps speed up checkout. She literally told me that I would have to wait because she has to put hangers on all items now. Her attitude definitely put a damper on my visit. I enjoy finding great deals! Was at this Ross because there was a Yelp Elite Experience (YEE) at the restaurant next door. Decided to check out Ross first before attending the YEE. Perused around and found some goodies to purchase in the home and toiletries section. Some of the items I picked up were a 33.8 fl oz bottle of body wash, eucalyptus hand soap, and a pack of super soft toothbrushes (great for travel) all at great prices. On a Saturday afternoon, the line was not bad a moved quickly. The cashier I got was friendly, smiling, and efficient. If I am visiting the Circle Center Shops, I would check out this Ross again! read more

The good: They had a lot of children's shoes and the workers in the store were easy to find for questions. The store was spacious and they sold a lot of band t-shirts as well as small furniture items like side tables or multi-tiered fruit stands. There's a IG reel or meme going around about getting a $7 at Ross and how no one would know but upon getting complimented on said dress you'd respond with "omg! I got it $7 at Ross!" This would be me. The bad: Men's shorts were priced higher than I expected. I couldn't find girls' summer hats. The exterior entrance as well as the interior one were blocked off with retractable crowd control belts. The interesting: Upon entering, there was a blocked off square detaining area where the security guard said they were doing some sort of quality check but it definitely seemed like a safe guard for folks stealing. read more

Only 1-2 associates checking people out with a huge line. We have been waiting in this line for over 30 minutes now! Lisa, one of the workers on the register, kept complaining about how she wants to clock out rather than addressing the customers needs. Loss prevention has heavy duty vests on and body cams too. He asked to see my receipt before I left and highlighted the qty on receipt. Also there's a a barrier rope outside the door and they let you in the store in small groups. I felt like I was being followed and so did my husband. We came to spend money and not be profiled. Very tacky ! I guess we won't be back. Store is messy and trashed and the line takes forever bc of only one cashier and one taking returns. Ugh It used to be so nice here at this store. I went here to browse while washing my clothes next door and I bought a COACH purse worth $450 for $179 and it's the shape and newer age style purse I like. I want the matching sandals. I have 30 days to decide if I want to keep it, or return it for a full refund which I can work with. In my opinion, this store has the most ridiculous and inconvenient entrance practice I have ever seen. A security guard will have you wait at the door for a minute before they let customers in. When I asked what's the reason for the wait, he said "we monitor traffic" with no more than 20 people in the store. No other store has this type of entrance policy. Ross really needs to get their crap together. I refuse to shop anywhere where I'm treated like a criminal. The whole "metering" traffic thing is a joke and complete BS. They make you stand at the door while they have personal conversations and no one walked out so it wasn't about controlling the number of people coming in versus going out. I'd suggest Ross educate the people they hire on WHY they do this because this is the second store where no one could articulate the reason for making me stand at the door. We stopped by here a few weeks ago, hanging out at the beach in Long Beach. I purchased a little bit of nice clothes they had on sale, or discounts. I have been a long time Ross shopper. Very poor customer service. I purchased a pair of shorts and I was walking out the alarm sounded. There was a plastic alarm tag on it. They were unable to take it off and the only alternative they provided was returning the shorts. I wanted the shorts I did not want to return them. They wasted my time and it's the return and there was nothing done to address the issue or rectify the situation of wasting my time. Too many bad experiences here. Don't go here. Came here on a weekday around lunch time. Not many cars in the parking lot, so I'm thinking good, it won't be too crowded inside. I could not walk directly into the store. A maze of rope lines, like at an amusement park directed me how to enter the business. I'm thinking no problem, they probably had a big sale and had a large number of people. Not true. This is now their normal way to enter the business. Once I got inside the building I was physically stopped from going any farther. All of my egress was completely blocked. Again, the store was almost empty. A uniformed officer approached me and said something that could not be understood. I was given the once over from head to toe, and then the guard lifted the barrier and I was allowed to enter. This type of profiling is an insult and embarrassment. Heather ruined my Ross experience and she wouldn't honor the price that was on the tag on a pair of shoes so I couldn't buy them. I know how the shoes work there because I shop there so much, if it's marked at the bottom for a certain price they honor that price, well these particular pair of Nikes didn't have a price marked on the bottom and because Heather felt like they were priced too cheap she didn't want to give them to me for the price that was on the tag. Me really wanting the shoes I was very verrrry disappointed, so I challenged her, asking why is it that u can't give these Nike's to me for the price on the tag? She couldn't handle me questioning her so she called the police on me, the officer was extremely nice but he asked me to leave to keep the peace. I couldn't believe it!!! The worst Ross I have ever visited! The employees are so unprofessional and lazy. No values and lack of care for customers. With all the horrible reviews I'm surprised Ross hasn't closed this store down or got rid of its employees and management. This is the reason I told my boyfriend we should have stuck with Marshalls across the street . I waited 20 minutes in line. We actually found what we needed for our dogs that my bf did not want to leave the items. I had to listen to the cashiers cussing in their conversations with each other , the loss prevention lady (not surprised if they suffered alot of losses because she does not do her job) looking at purses and talking over the customers to the cashiers, the other cashier singing , they were playing music on one of the radios they had in the store to which one of the cashiers said outloud who cares when the other one said omg turn it off, the manager not Making any eye contact to the customers piling up in line, one of the cashiers acting like she was putting away stuff and tagging items clearing not actually doing those tasks. I have to tell you about the most horrible and horrific service I received at this Ross! I was in the store at 3:30pm on 2-16-22, the line was wrapped to the back aisle. There were 2 cashiers opened, however the Checker at Register 1, you can tell didnt want to be there. After her customer, she would stop and retag a bunch of returns and not help the customers in line. The was a gray haired manager at the Register behind #4, doing whatever, I asked her is she could open up another register, She stated they dont have anyone. I told her there are 2 girls walking around doing returns to the shelves, that could be done when the crowd is gone I advised her. No response from the Manager. I asked her to open a register and she stated That is not her job!! Excuse me, all the employees in the store should be able to check, isn't purchasing the most important part of making money?? After 1 more person, the lady at Register closed down and started talking to another employee who just walked in and finally the 3 lady came up and they were all chit chatting at Register 1, while the line had now moved closer to the complete back of the store. Another Customer complained and again no one did anything. After 25 minutes in line I completed my purchase and someone finally opened register 4. Fast forward to today 2-18-22. Unfortunately for me, I had to return one of the items I purchased and this is the only Ross near me. I kid you not, I walked in at 10:07am, there were 9 people in line, 2 register's opened and the same lady at #1. I went directly to the return line, she saw me, as well as the other 9 people in the other line, she did the SAME thing. Decided it was time to reticket all the items she had already accepted for the money and get them ready to be restocked! Seriously!!! I asked another lady if they were going to open another register and she said they have no one else! I have never been to such an Unorganized, Rude Ross EVER! They need new Management that is willing to apply work ethics to their employees and not join in with the lack of work ethics. Never will I personally shop in this Ross again. There are 2 GREAT, ORGANIZED Ross' one in the Long Beach Hanger and one on Carson and Woodruff in Lakewood. From now on, I will make the drive!!! read more

These employees here are completely clueless and the manager. I bought a lamp that had a very wide base and whoever attached a shade to match put a skinny tiny lampshade. Most Ross' you can switch out the shades. This one had them secured so I thought I would ask the manager. I asked the cashier and she said no. I said you can clearly see it's on the wrong lamp. I'm an interior designer and I buy from Ross all the time and have bought dozens of these lamps. And any person could tell it was on the wrong lamp. She said I could ask the manager. The manager walked by and then she asks before she even finishes speaking he says absolutely not and ignores me. The cashiers begin chuckinling. As if it's funny that I was disrespected and not even given the time of day. Great job Ross. Yes your prices are cheap but you're still trying to represent your brand. I wasn't asking for the world. My boyfriend & I just left this Ross. He had to buy some slacks & dress shoes. Tell me why the cashier, Caucasian with pig tails (on the heavy side no offense) literally took his slacks & crumbled it up & stuffed it in the bag?? She didn't have the common sense to fold it & put it in the bag??? These were creased up slack pants. Which means they get crinkled easily. She just ruined it & crumbled it up. My boyfriend needs these ASAP & we were in a hurry so we took the bag & left. Once we got in the car I took it out to fold it, & it's already crinkled & ruined. This review is LONG overdue and from what I can see, not much has changed. I'm seeing similar experiences from others who was mistreated badly enough to go out of their way to post a 1 star review. This one star review is SPECIFICALLY for that HORRIBLE MANAGER, Jasmine. Apparently, the only thing she's managed to do is create a miserable environment for her employees and drive customers away. She left such negative impression that it still sits with me after nearly a year and I'm a forgiving person. I work near this location and used to shop here often, until I was talked down to by a patronizing with a better-than-thou attitude from their "manager." Quoting manager because I think she may be in the wrong field cuz she has no idea what the word means. Ross is clearly in desperate need of employees to have to use someone with such lacking skills in all things customer service and retail. I'm not going to bog you down with too much detail, but let me just say she had such negative effect on me that I drove all the way home just to come back and return over $300 worth of items I purchased. She is VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Here's the rundown: A rug I purchased wasn't in the bag and I noticed as soon as I got home so I called the location and let them know and they said yes, it didn't fit in a bag so they didn't put it in the bag and THEY FORGOT TO HAND IT TO ME. Which sucks! No apologies, but it's fine, things happen. Mind you, I had like 5 or 6 bags worth of purchases. They told me to come in the next day and I told them that I don't get off work until 4 p.m and they said to just let someone know at the register because they already talked to their manager about it. Next day comes, I ask about my item and I get passed around from one register person to another then to the security, every single one of them looks at me like I'm speaking Chinese--having no idea what the hell I'm talking about as if I've made up a whole story for this damn rug. They're giving me a hard time about it saying they have no idea what I'm talking about, they contacted 1,2,3, people then the "manager" Jasmine comes with what seems to be a trainee. It was clear in the way that she approached me, making no eye contact, speaking to the guy, as if I were not present, that she was high and overdosing off her own ego with her dismissive attitude. I've never felt such rude demeanor----1) who the hell raised you?! 2)who the hell trained you?!? Jasmine then has the nerve, after she was blatantly rude, with her body language and patronizing attitude gives me this fake look and nods while I'm talking as if it isn't clear that she just wants me to shut up cuz she's not listening at all, but rather waiting to respond. Even after ALL this, I was not upset. I didn't actually get mad until Jasmine finally acknowledged my presence and said, "Mmhmm, yeah, ok, Mmhm... we don't put things on hold here so we put it back on the shelf and you're just gonna have to look for it." This is when the shock kicks in 'cuz let's go through the facts here: I paid for an item. You failed to bag it with the rest of my stuff. Not only do you not apologize for that, but you make me jump through hoops just to pick up my stuff then have the nerve to talk down to me as if I'M the one inconveniencing YOU and also tell me to go FETCH for an item that is already paid for and give me attitude as if I'm asking you for a favor. Excuse me? I didn't ask anyone to put anything on hold. This is an item I purchased that YOUR employee failed to put in my bag. I've already paid for it, therefore, it belongs to me. And I called about it right away and you were made aware of it. And now you're telling me I have to go fishing for my own item..?? And if it it's not there...? She gives me this IDGAF look, and is like "I can't do anything about that if someone else bought it. Just bring your receipt to the return register and they'll give you your money back." All the while she's looking and treating me like I'm this idiot who is inconveniencing her while trying to show off to her trainee on how to "properly handle a situation" Even the guy gave me this look like, "yikes" Jasmine/Jazmyn/Jasmin, however the hell you wanna spell your name. You need to check your ego at the door or you'll have a VERY HIGH employee turnout. I couldn't even stand you for 5 minutes, what more of those people you're left in charge with. Ugh. read more

The worst Ross ever! 15 staff just playing around standing loud talking. They don't have enough work to keep all those kids busy. They should be cleaning that flithy store. We waited in a line of 3 for too long and they had 2 casiers who were ringing up and talking to each other? Get to work and SHUT UP already, we do not care to hear your drama.
