I've only been to two other Five Below stores, but I'll say this is probably bigger than the ones I've been to. I wasn't even really sure what I was looking for, but I certainly found a bunch of bargain buys! (Isn't that always the case?!) They have a little bit of everything for good price points: electronics, school supplies, arts and crafts, games, clothing, snacks, and more. But my favorite by a long shot are their $5 backpacks. (Didn't know they're known for this until this visit here!) I got a bunch - because they make for great gifts! TIP: if you park at the structure, they validate! Cashier and security were very friendly! Service with a smile is always a plus! Me likey! Will definitely make another stop should I find myself at the Pike again!

Workout - The image shows a retail shelf at Five Below in Long Beach, CA, stocked with fitness and workout products. Items include exercise mats in various colors, neck massagers, resistance bands, and other workout accessories. A large sign above the shelf reads 'DON'T SWEAT IT WORK OUT.' The products are organized in rows, with price tags visible on the shelf edge.

Nicest and newest Five Below we've been to, and it's the closest to our home! There are over 1,700 Five Below stores across the U.S. and we seem to find them in outlet malls that we visit. So we were pleased, when we saw the sign for a Five Below come up on the main billboard for the Pike Outlets, located in downtown Long Beach. So on a Saturday afternoon after eating lunch, we stopped in. The store was fully stocked and well organized, and checkout was easy. One negative was that finding prices could be difficult....nothing was individually marked and some signage didn't list prices. The store is geared towards pre-teens and teens...so things like housewares don't exist here. The five dollars and below is just an advisement...there are a lot of items that sell for well above that (up to $25). But along those lines, it sells items that a typical dollar tree would never consider, like 'disposable' electronics and workout equipment. And they are famous for selling different types of sports balls, with even a small place to test it out. Other dedicated sections included: pet equipment and toys, travel size accessories, unique toys, board games, stuffed animals, smart phone accessories, unique candy (freeze dried). They do have a self-checkout section, but all of the stations were closed...not sure if because it wasn't so busy or if the clientele makes it difficult to use.

A display of Halloween-themed decorations at Five Below in Long Beach, California, features stacking pumpkin figurines and skull decorations. The pumpkins are arranged in a pyramid shape with a $5 price sign, and skulls are placed in large black bowls on either side. The store interior includes shelves with various products, bright lighting, and a visible ceiling with exposed ductwork.

It's super clean, brightly (but not harshly) lit, has nice, wide-aisles so it's a pleasure to browse. The staff is also super helpful and constantly moving. Yelp Review - Grocery Outlet Bargain Market…read more I love finding a good Grocery Outlet--one with fresh food, quality products, and excellent customer service. Unfortunately, this particular location did not meet those standards. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the outdoor area was littered with garbage. This is not the first impression you want as you're heading in to grocery shop. Once inside, my first stop was the produce section. Several items were wilted, moldy, or soggy at best. I had to dig through the displays just to find fruit that appeared remotely acceptable. From there, the shopping experience became increasingly frustrating. The store layout was confusing and poorly designed. To put it plainly, if this store were a digital website, its interface would not be user-friendly. I found myself circling the store repeatedly just trying to locate basic items, largely due to the lack of intuitive organization for customers. If you're shopping here expecting bargains, this is not the location for you. Many items were overpriced and lacked value. The condition of the produce was especially concerning--avocados, oranges, mandarins, lemons, and prepackaged salads were soggy, wilted, oversaturated with water, moldy, mushy, and extremely soft. In some cases, visible mold was present at the stem of the avocados. I picked up multiple bags of oranges and found that nearly all were damaged or expired. When customers can clearly see mold and spoiled food across an entire produce section, it signals a serious issue with inventory management and quality control. No one should be expected to pay high prices for food that poses a potential health hazard. This is something management and Grocery Outlet Bargain Market should address immediately. Unfortunately, the experience worsened at checkout. I was assisted by a cashier who was openly rude, dismissive, and selective about whom she chose to treat with basic courtesy. I was treated less like a customer and more like an inconvenience, which was both uncomfortable and unprofessional. At this point, until the store undergoes a serious cleanup, addresses the food safety issues, and retrains certain employees, it would honestly be better off closed than continuing to operate in this condition. That said, there were two positives worth mentioning. The Kimberly's cupcakes were delicious, freshly baked, and genuinely enjoyable. Additionally, I appreciated one employee who kindly helped me locate an item by walking me to it and taking the time to assist--his professionalism did not go unnoticed. In closing, I may return in the future only for very select non-perishable items or products whose quality is easier to verify. However, significant improvements are needed before this location can be considered a reliable grocery store. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS STORE ASAP

They have the dried shrimp or fish options but I always choose dried shrimp because it suits my taste buds better. I can eat a ton of it with rice alone because it's that good. I've never had a batch that was bad which is what keeps me coming back for more. I'm still hesitant to try their TwaKo and I have my reasons. When it comes to meat in general, I'm super careful and particular. Proper packaging and cleanliness also matters for me. Pricing is like everywhere else that sells the same or similar products. The market is small and there is only side street parking FYI. The smell inside the store is something I will never get used to. Sorry, but it's horrendous throughout the entire store especially in the back. They could do better with ventilation and airing out the place. Douse the entire store in bleach and let it sit for a good 48 hours before a thorough scrub down. That's my advice as a returning customer. I go every 2-3 months because I live over an hour away and I make sure I stock up for at least a month each time. The owner, which is an elderly man who is always working the counter, is super nice and friendly. I just hope he does something about the strong smell in the store.

Parking can be a little struggle as it was pretty packed when we arrived. First off, right when I walked in I was greeted by the three amazing and very funny ladies. Especially the one behind the counter. She was a major hoot that we all got a laugh with. It makes the shopping experience way better. It's broken down into two different sides. The main being where there cashier is and the women's department. They also have a pretty massive selection with accessories, jewelry and shoes. Plus shoes were half off. The other section house more of the home wares stuff, trinkets, glassware, furniture, babies and men's. There were loads of dish ware. Its nice to see that the place was very neat and organized which is also a major plus when browsing through. Makes it more easy to pick something up without having to dig through piles. There's not a big selection for men and kids as it was mainly a little sections. But pretty extensive collection for chinas and crystals. Woman's had the entire section for clothing and accessories. The staff were all amazing and friendly. Such sweetheart and major dolls. Chatting with them was so fun. Found out that the money goes to different charities which makes the shopping experience more enjoyable knowing that you helped someways. I was glad to walk into a cute little shop.
