This adorable lil toy store is filled with a variety of unique, one-of-a-kind toys that somehow bring back childhood memories. I found some miniature tech decks (build-your-own) that I know my nephews will absolutely love. While some items were a bit pricier, others were very affordable. I was a bit bummed there were no anime items, but that was fine. We still scored on some cool findings. We were walking off our breakfast and stumbled upon this toy store in Bixby Knolls. As soon as I walked in, I was transported to my childhood. From classic toys like Monchichi's, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Polly Pocket, and so much more, brought so many memories. There is so much variety and selections that you will not be disappointed. Lately, I been hearing about the Jellycat craze, and they have a great selection in stock. Since Christmas is around the corner, you can fulfill all your kids wishes at one store. During this visit, it looked like the staff was unloading more stock even though the store was already full but they were probably getting ready for the rush. Popped into Pixie Toys as I had breakfast earlier down the street and loved their wide selection of toys. Such a great spot if you have a kiddo or are looking for a gift for someone else's kiddo or you're a kiddo at heart. I was thrilled to find out they have Jelly Cat toys which, if you're unfamiliar, are very popular quality stuffed animals. Also a fun surprise at the cash register was clothes for sonny angels (blind box toy collectibles) and Jelly Cat keychains. I cane mainly to purchase a gift for a friend who has a newborn. I won't detail what I got in case she reads this but you will be sure to find something here that you will love! It's great to see a brick and mortar gift shop that is local and curates items. They have toys, games, gifts, and even baby clothes in the very back! There is a closet full of baby clothes and onesies that would make perfect gifts. The staff greeted us but also allowed us to browse the shop at our leisure. It is always fun to visit this place. The prices are fair- there was a puzzle that I was eyeing on Amazon, and PIxie Toys sold it $1 cheaper. So you know your girl purchased it right away! I live close by and decided to come in yesterday hoping to find Sonny Angels and I did!! They were carrying the vegetable series, fruit series, and animal series 4. They limited one of each series per person, that way more people would be able to buy. I think that's so thoughtful and sweet! They are also normal priced (same as the website). I always come here for the Sonny angel and Smiski drops they have amazing customer service and always make sure that almost everybody gets one. They have a limit but that's what makes it fair. Love in the area and have been wanting to come check out this toy store. I was finally able to bring my toddler with me to pick out a toy from here. And we both loved it. We ended up hanging out here for a hour on a Thursday afternoon. There lots of people coming in to buy from their newest shipment of Sonny Angel figures they had just got. Preface: I am an autistic adult who came to this store with another autistic adult I wanted to enjoy this store so much and find new sensory toys but the sensory situation in this store is a nightmare. The music was so loud it hurt my ears and the overhead lighting was harsh. I couldn't even make it through half the store before I had to leave. My friend was also getting agitated from the environment. It was a shame bc they had this really cute little octopus finger puppet that was just mesmerizing and a strawberry bear that had a squeeze ball full of tiny balls that looked super fun. There were people behind the counter I think but no one greeted us or asked if we needed anything. Maybe bc we're queer and pierced and tattooed and childless and looked like we didn't belong they thought we weren't serious customers? I don't know. It was a bummer that through the whole day out of whack. It was supposed to be a treat for both of us to get a new toy and do an outing on our own without my one on one guy and it just ended up being very stressful at the store. That being said, the stuff in there seems priced fairly. Of course you get the mark up for a brick and mortar but they had toys in there I hadn't seen before and I understand that there is a cost that comes with good curation. Customer service is horrible, the lady running the place is rude and has a terrible attitude. I'm not sure if it's because I was there without children or because I was the only brown person in the room but she was super friendly with everyone else but looked and responded visibly annoyed when I asked her a question. Attended a Kidical Mass event Pixie Toys hosted during the month of March where the owner gave out pizza/wings/snacks to about 100 participants.
