Lawd what a day, just to find a roller shade. First I went to Home Depot only to learn they stopped carrying roller shades. Then spent 45 minutes in the Lowe's on Bellflower Blvd. only to find out the sizing machine for window shades is broken. I zipped over to this Lowe's determined to leave with a d&mn roller shade and hallelujah, I did. Allison (feat. Ray) cut my new roller shade up super fast and it was the perfect size. My husband told me this story this morning when he stopped at Lowe's to pick up yardsticks. He went up to the "Pro" desk and asked the gentleman who appeared to be in his 30's if Lowes has any yardsticks and his quick response was no. My husband then says well I checked your website and it says you do on (whatever isle) it was but I went there and there aren't any. He then checks his computer and asks my husband what size yardstick is he looking for. REALLY???? Come on, it's called a YARDstick. My husband then chuckles but realizes that the gentleman is being serious. He had no clue a yardstick is a yard. So my husband tells him I'd like a YARDstick which is one yard. And then he says yes we have them and they are on isle 14. I'm giving them 4 stars only because we need to remove a star because of his lack of knowing what a yardstick measurement is and SHOULD know that working at Lowes. This review is specifically for Lowe's warehouse delivery department. Delivery guys were such in a hurry that they forgot to level my refrigerator. One out of four legs was left unleveled/unadjusted! I called Lowe's within an hour, as soon as I noticed it. (I actually had to call several times and was on hold for a while on all three occasions.) Latest info from customer rep said that they couldn't give me a time to fix as someone would have to call me first tonight to schedule a time for the following day to fix this! They delivered on a Friday. Today is Saturday already, which means that I would have to wait until tomorrow, Sunday to even find out if this error can be corrected. Meanwhile, I can't put a lot of my refrigerated food inside the fridge as I don't want to put a lot of pressure on this raised unadjusted leg. Plus, my weekend plan is ruined considering that I need to be available tomorrow Sunday as I'm not even sure what time they will be coming , if they can even come at all. Three other issues that need to be addressed/areas that need improvement: 1. Have shoe covers for your delivery guys. Delivery guys said that they don't have booties to cover their shoes when I told them that I don't allow outside shoes on my carpet. They told me to put towels on the carpet instead! I had to look for and place a drop cloth for them as I'm not going to wash 3 more towels after they've stepped on them! 2. Update your communication! The email they sent me said that the delivery guys will arrive between 3:30pm and 7:30pm. But they showed up at 1:15pm! It's a good thing I was home! 3. Be accurate - attention to detail please. They apparently called me, but it turns out that they used and left s message at a wrong number! I called customer service so they can correct this in their records because I want to make sure that the delivery department uses the correct phone number to schedule the leg adjustment. Sure enough, when I called their customer service department, the delivery people still used the wrong phone number, so I never got whatever message they left me! read more

This review is specifically for the Christmas tree lot this season. We usually go to the Lowe's on bellflower for our tree, but came here this year. It was such a great experience! We came the day after thanksgiving and Chris helped us select a tree, cut it, and tie it down to our car. In previous years at other locations we usually are on our own with the tree process. But I was really impressed that Chris took the time to look through trees with us, unwrap them, shake them out for my kids to select one. Then I was really impressed when Chris and another employee did the whole process of tying the tree down to our car. Great customer service and we had a great experience. I had a terrible experience purchasing an AO smith water heater from this Lowes location.. I later realized after my plumber installed it their was rust coming out the top of the unit. My plumber then had to remove the old used one that Lowe's sold to me as "brand new" and had to go back to this location buy another one. I had to pay my plumber twice. This was a nightmare and is not how you do business. Very unprofessional. I will no longer be a Lowe's customer. read more

Service here has been great for the past year (no more outside solicitors inside hunting you down making shopping awkward). This past weekend, we were in need of assistance from staff and after waiting a long while at HD with no help and several pages and a call to the manager we opted to leave and go to Lowe's. Upon arrival it was there kids workshop, which we usually sign our littles for but we forgot to do so this time around. Luckily, the team member working the area had extra for us to take and do at home. They are always so welcoming and super nice to us and our kids. We proceeded to enter the building and Jeremy asked if we had stopped by the kids zone to grab a craft for the kids to which we said yes. We went to find the selection of items we needed and no only did they have the brand we had looked at HD, but they also have better pricing and more options in brands. Allison and James helped us out working out the specifics and checking out. As we perused our way, Jeremy checked in with us which was really nice. Overall 5/5 customer service and selection of what we needed. We also enjoy the abundance of Disney products they carry for decor. read more

This is my "Regular" Lowes. Recently I have had to make a few returns to this store. The first time, I felt like a pain in the bottom to her. She was not friendly and not what I would consider helpful. A very poor example of how to provide customer service. I was returning defective merchandise. There was no apology - nor a thank you at the end. She must have been having a bad day. The next two times, I had the pleasure of having Antasia assist me in my returns. She was awesome. She was extremely friendly and helpful. She handled the situation in a way that made me feel welcome in her department and her store and was glad I was there. This time in addition to the return, I wanted to cancel another order. She asked a couple questions, and looked up some information. She could not help me due to the fact that the order was from another Lowes, but she told me how to handle it. She thanked me and smiled. She is AWESOME! read more

So frustrating. Spent nearly $10,000 dollars on appliances at lowes but when it comes to having them installed, they cannot be trusted or relied upon. They do not so what they say. They do not show up when they where schedule nor ever call to say they aren't going to make it. They just now off customer after they have the money. If you want good reliable honest service, maybe don't buy from Lowes. And I'd course Lowes says it the third party contractor so it's not their problem. But Lowes was paid all the money and Lowes hires the installing third parties, but they sure don't manage them or appear to want to fix the problem, they just say call "DSI". I'm sure if an executive at Lowes was ever treated that way, they'd never do business with a company again that treated them that way. Too bad they don't treat their own customers the way they want to be treated. Things happen, schedulers can get messed up, totally get it. But just owing off the customer with not even a common courtesy to call and tell us they aren't going to make, after we've sat here 5 hours waiting for them based on THEIR promised install time, is so rude and inconsiderate. The closest big box hardware/garden store to me, Lowe's is where I usually go for home improvement goods. On a few occasions, I've bought merchandise, such as a door knob/deadbolt combo, only to find it was a return that was missing parts. An inconvenience & annoyance, for sure. On the bright side, I enjoy hunting the clearance indoor & outdoor plants for any gems I may find. Some great finds include a blackberry plant & some bird of paradise. I know the layout of the garden center quite well, so I know where everything is. Inside, is another story. I tend to get lost prancing around, but I usually make out the area I'm looking for. Parking is at the Long Beach Towne Center, with Lowe's south of Walmart. I usually park at the lot inbetween the 2 stores. Service has been okay when I've been there. Taking the good with the bad, I'll still frequent Lowe's because of it's proximity to me. Besides, it give me a reason to hit up In N' Out afterwards ;p Recommend! read more

Logan is the associate that helped me and truly was the most helpful person I have ever had to help me. I had called prior to my arrival and asked if there was someone that could help me rekey the locks I had. He put me on a brief hold and then told me to come in and they would be able to help. Once I arrived, a couple other associates said they didn't have anyone to help me and then suddenly Logan appeared. He said he had done it before and he would help me. He saved the day and made sure to keep his word. He truly gave it his all as the lock was giving him some issues and he didn't give up. He did both locks and was so kind. Often I go in and there is not many that can help me (they always say "it's not their department" and I go on a wild goose chase). Logan truly cares about customers and it shows. He continued to help others while working on my lock and made sure everyone felt seen and heard. Other associates were just walking by, yet Logan stood out as his leadership, his initiative and just pure joy of his job shined so bright! He deserves employee of the month or even year! I truly don't like going into hardware stores as I always feel lost and that no one cares. Not this day! Logan was beyond awesome! I told him he needs a new badge that said "Best Employee Ever!" I think you need to promote this man to a manager position and give him a raise! I never do these reviews often, as no one typically in my experience goes the extra mile... There is minimal Covid-19 precautions. Customers are allowed to come in without an employee monitoring how many people are in the store. The store itself was crowded. People come in and out where you are making line. We ran out as soon as we got the things we needed. I drove by their competition and they had a line outside and were cleaning carts for their customers. They had one entrance for people coming in and an exit for those coming out.
