Do not shop Lowes! I have no problem with the store in Rockwall, or its staff. The company as a whole has gotten awful in terms of customer care. I purchased an appliance there 6 years ago. It went out in December of 2025. It was out of extended protection. No issue there. The part, and FULL REPLACEMENT was covered by Samsung. I just needed to provide proof of purchase. Lowes started a program called MYLOWES around 2011, that was supposed to keep ALL purchase history. There was a key fob, or a card that you scan at time of purchase, it saved all purchase history. This was explained to me, and used at the time of purchase. About 4 years ago, they updated their systems, and it no longer goes past 4 years, so I can no longer access my proof of purchase. My bigger issue, is that I have spent countless hours, multiple calls, have been lied to about them fixing my account login credentials, and have spoken to multiple customer service representatives, and ALL. of them have a "sorry about your luck" mentality. The store manager is out, I have asked to speak with a district manager for resolution, or someone that can help, and they FLAT OUT DENY ME SPEAKING with someone. Lowes advertised a program that would track my purchases, forever. Then they changed that. I am out thousands of dollars. That is false advertisement, and it seems that unless I file a small claims suit in court, there is nothing I can do. The fact that ther organization has made it a policy to keep customers from speaking with leaders in the organization who can help and offer ways to support the situation, and they keep everything in the customer service center is lunacy. They tell you tough luck, and close your issue out, and have absolutely ZERO concern for customer service. My refrigerator has been not functional for 2 months. read more

If I could give the Lowes store in Rockwall, I would give them a negative 10. I have the worse experience with the purchase a Wirlpool washing machine. I ordered the machine on-line 3/21/26 and then canceled the order. I never received the machine. It is now 4/4 and I still do not have my refund. First, Lowes sent me a Lowes gift for $917. The manger Andrea promised me she would handle the return quickly. I had to produce the canceled check and take it to them. Ruby Pearce couldn't forward my email to Andrea. I had to take the canceled check personally to them. I gave it to Andrea, I asked for my money then told me they have a process to follow and would not give me a timeframe when I will receive my money. My advice is always go to Home Depot and forget Lowes. I now believe I will have to take them to court to get my money. NEVER SHOP AT LOWES. Few days ago the Lowe's Technician came to my house to measure my patio door for retractable screen door installation. When I called back Lowe's and tried to make an appointment for install the retractable screen door. The Lowe's lady told us: "Lowe's no longer installs retractable screen doors". It doesn't make any sense, isn't it? So I went to the Lowe's Store to talk to Peter Schutz (Millwork Sales Specialist). He is such a nice gentleman and help me to find out a solution. I am extremely happy with the services provided by him. I was able to save over $200 on a retractable screen door because of him. He is a very friendly and kindness gentleman to help me with my purchase. I never met a guy in Lowe's like him. He is really an assets to Lowe's. Finally, my problem solved. Bravo! I was encountered by several employees, and every single one of them greeted me with a smile and friendly tone as they asked how I was doing. I wasn't in a bad mood when I walked in, but I left feeling like I had just visited some utopia named, 'Pleasantville.' To begin, I want to clarify that this is our first experience with a kitchen remodel, and, quite frankly, we hope it's the last. If I could rate this experience zero stars, I absolutely would. Where do I even start? Our first mistake was walking into the store. We had been on the hunt for new countertops for quite some time. Initially, I was hesitant to go to a big-box store for countertops, but after a year of searching, we finally found what we liked at Lowes and made the purchase in June. We asked when they would be installed, and the lady told us 7-14 days. Perfect, we thought, as we had family coming over to help with our backsplash during the week of the 4th of July. Well, when did our countertops arrive? At the end of July/ beginning of August. So, installing backsplash was an expense we weren't planning for suddenly fell into our laps. Thanks, Lowes. When I ask for them to compensate me this the response I get, "we'll see if there's anything we can do". I understand that supply issues can occur, but Lowes should have been more diligent in confirming this before giving customers a 7-14 day estimate. Once our countertops were finally installed, we noticed two lines running through the quartz. When we reached out to Lowes, the customer service experience was far from satisfactory. Blue Sky, the contractor responsible for the installation, came to take pictures and submitted a claim. Our countertops were eventually reinstalled at the very end of October. To our dismay, the corners were still in poor condition - a terrible job. They attempted to fix it at our house but eventually had to take the countertop back to the shop to get it done correctly. They returned on November 1st to take the countertops back to the shop for corrections. They redelivered the countertop on November 2nd, but the corners were still off. Kyle, an employee of Blue Sky, defended their work, claiming he had witnessed the machine doing it. However, being present does not guarantee a job done right. Throughout this ordeal, I have tried to remain calm, but it's evident that Blue Sky prioritizes quantity over quality. They should have caught the issues with the lines in the first slab and the shoddy workmanship the second time. Instead, it seems like they are simply hoping the client will accept subpar work. Moreover, after the last installation, the sink isn't even set straight. Plumbers who came to connect everything confirmed this and pointed out the horrendous caulk job, which wasn't even done properly. Blue Sky consistently did an inadequate job throughout this entire process. Now, we have to invest more of our time due to their incompetence and have them, Lowes, and us examine these counters. When the Lowes representative asked about our availability, and we provided it, she responded with an inconsiderate "we'll have to see if that works for everyone else as they are pretty busy." This lack of concern from Lowes is truly frustrating. These are the cliff notes are this fiasco and in conclusion, my advice is to stay far, far away from Blue Sky and Lowes. read more

When you buy a major appliance from Lowes (refrigerator) and pay for delivery, they send a 26 ft. box truck with 2 people and tools to make the delivery and it may take a few days for this process to complete. If you have a problem with the product their policy is a return must be made to the store within 48 hours or they can't help you. But wait, if you purchased with the Lowes card the possibilities are endless, they can do anything to resolve your issue. Buyer beware, avoid this place!! I purchased a refrigerator from this place, discovered the ice maker did not work properly. On the 3rd business day following the delivery, I reached out to the manufacturer to troubleshoot. The manufacturer said the product was within the retailer replacement window so I should reach out to Lowes to have a new unit delivered. Lowes response was I only had 48 hours to make a return at the store. I have not heard anything from a Lowes representative since 12/20/2022 after I called the store because no one would ever call me. I recently purchased a dryer from Lowe's. I paid to have it delivered, set up and the old one hauled off. When the dryer arrived, 2 hours later than the time frame I was told "Dryers don't come with plugs, and I can't use the old plug." No, no they don't come with plugs. So off to Lowe's I frustratingly went. Wish I was told this when I purchased this dryer! I was met by Sharon in the Appliance section who went above and beyond to help me and made certain that I had the correct plug with the right connection. She was very kind and helpful. I purchased a new appliance and paid for installation and take away. They didn't tell me to disconnect the old appliance and I didn't ask. Maybe the flooring guy shouldn't be selling appliances. The delivery/installation guy just shrugged his shoulders and said "didn't they tell you?" Called the store and spoke with a manager, he told me he thought unhooking the old unit was part of the service. He told me he would check on it and call me back. He never called. DO NOT BUY EGO products at Lowe's Rockwall. I'm now going on 6 weeks and my EGO mower is still no where to be found. Lowe's blames Altaquip. Altaquip is MIA and Lowe's corporate is unable to assist in anyway outside of incorrect updates. The mower is less than a year old and under manufacturer warranty. My wife and I ordered an outdoor building and we never received it. We called customer service and they referred us to the store saying it would have shipped from the store in Rockwall. We went to the store and the manager was called three times and never responded. Afterwards, we called customer service again and they called the store and the store replied with they shipped the building and did not have it on their inventory. We then disputed the charge with Synchrony Bank the issuer of the Lowes credit card and they attempted to contact the store to investigate the dispute and was not successful in contacting the store. Long story shortened, the store in Rockwall, Tx has proven to be very unreliable and we still have a charge on a credit card for an item we never received. read more

I bought a major appliance at Lowe's Rockwall in May. AFTER I sign all the paperwork, they tell me it will be 12 days before it reaches their warehouse and another 12 to get it installed. Very sneaky; had I known, I would have gone elsewhere. Installation guy finally shows up completely unprepared to do the job so I get rescheduled. In the meantime, Lowe's had the nerve to expect the first payment when I didn't even have the appliance yet, so to keep my credit good, I made a payment. Second installation guy claimed he couldn't install because he couldn't find my address! Didn't even bother to call me so I could direct him; just returned to Lowe's and dropped it off there. Next day, I cancel the order and was told by manager that I would be refunded BY CHECK for the first payment I made. I was supposed to get my refund by July 5th at the latest and I still don't have it. Went back up to store today and they say it is credited to my Lowe's card! I was lied to and do not want to spend another cent at this awful store. They refuse to give me cash or check saying it's not their policy. Why should I pay for something that I never received? Huh? Well, it's not my policy to do business with chiselers. I want my money back Lowe's and not on your credit card. My advice to others...Go to Home Depot instead; I bought my appliance there and it was professionally installed 4 days later. read more

Order was placed on May 28th with guaranteed delivery on June 11th. Received an email on June 10th saying half the order was not in stock and was delayed a week. Talked to Customer Care and pushed back the delivery date to June 17th. Half the order was canceled without my permission on June 13th. Called the store, Melissa the manager said she was working on resolution and never heard another word. Today is June 17th and half the order was delivered at 3pm (delivery window was 8am to 12pm) and they said they didn't have time to do the installation. I am so disappointed in Lowes. We are always doing home improvement projects. The last two time we have been there in the last very few weeks, the employees have masks hanging around their necks. The check outs says they will disinfect the counter between customers I have never seen them do that. On top of that, like 80% of the customers are without masks. Then when it was time to get what I needed I grabbed an employee her name was Victoria , some of the items that I wanted were not at the Rockwall location she did look for me to see if what I needed was close by . But by the end she sold me on something's they did have in stock . I purchased a lawn gas mower , weed wacker and blower those battery operated. Last week, I called the Garlan pd store, was transferred 5 times and when I finally reached who seemed to be the right person to give me pricing on some shingles, he said he would call me back. A week later, still waiting for the call. Now, my husband decided to give Lowe's another chance and called the Rockwall location. He was transferred several times and finally an employee named Pete, at the Pro Services Desk, stated he would call him back with pricing. 24 hours later, we are still waiting for the call. When we went to pick it up no one in doors working yet ,so waited at least an hour for them to find and bring our door. looked around no one from plumbing today. Also. I hate home improvement stores. Well, i say "hate" but it's love/hate. I hate having to go there, I don't like looking at tools and grease and stuff, but I love the potential for all that fun stuff! Lots of cool flowers, projects, lighting, you name it. This is our neighborhood Lowes. They're nice enough here. There's a guy in the appliance department that knows everything there is to know about refrigerators. Find him if you need a new one. Everyone I've ever asked help of have been super nice and helpful. I do wish they had experts working in the flower area. I need help knowing what's going to live and what's going to die in my flowerbeds, and everyone I have ever found will be glad to help you find something but can't help you much more than what's on the little flower insert thingy. I've spent over $2000 here for new house stuff in the past few months, so if what they say is true, your money goes where your heart is. So this joint must have my heart (my house does!). read more

Had to deal with them on an install as well as a pickup over the course a month. I could not get anyone to answer the phone on multiple occasions. When picking up the appliance, we sat in the front of the store while the employee retrieved the item. So we return In an hour and find out "James" had all our merchandise restocked. So we went back and picked everything out again and we asked if we could talk to James. then James wouldn't come talk to us and even after we waited in customer service and they called him a second time he wouldn't come. So at 9:35pm I told them forget it -if you're manager is going to hide and not stand up for what he did then we don't need to spend our money here. Do not order anything from Lowes & have delivered to the store. It is a joke. We ordered 3 things: a vent-a-hood, wood flooring, & a stove cooktop all around the same time. On all 3 items we had issues when got to store to pick them up. For example, staff couldn't find our wood flooring (8 boxes). They said "we know its here but cant find it". We had to leave & come back the next day & go through them trying to find it again after we were told it was found and set aside. The managers were informed but nothing was really done about it. This store obviously has lack of team communication & poor system for their online orders. We will never ever order from Lowes again. 3 strikes, you're out :( read more

I won a Craftsman power tool set at my company's Christmas party. This item is clearly a Lowe's item b/c there's big sticker on the UNOPENED box the tool set it is in that says the Lowe's item numbers and such. Yes it's Feb and I'm trying to return about 2mos later. But I waited so long b/c I wanted to return it when I needed to do some other shopping there b/c I knew (or at least I thought i knew) I'd get a store credit. Well I was very wrong. B/c I don't have a receipt they won't take it at all. There's plenty of scenario's where a person just isn't going to have a receipt. That's a terrible policy especially since it's an item they stock. They could have the item back on the shelf immediately and it would look exactly like every other set in the store. There were four other boxed sets already in the store. Horrible policy. Take your business to HomeDepot if this their return policy! I came into Lowe's Christmas Eve to try and get some supplies to fix my great grand mother's lamp as a Christmas gift for my mother and not only did I get my supplies but they helped me rewire and completely renovate the lamp as well!!! Can't get anyone in the delivery department to answer the phone. Been accidentally hung up on by customer service 7 times so far. I still don't really know when my product will be delivered. Employees are rude and managers are clueless. I also loaded about 20 of the 40lb bags of soil onto my cart in 90° heat, and at least three employees passed by. Nobody offered to help. I actually saw one guy reverse direction when he saw me. Will never return to this lowes. read more
