I had to stop and pick up some things for a project I was working at home. I hadn't been here before but I was in the neighborhood I am glad I stopped because this may just be my new Lowes moving forward. The parking lot was almost empty, as was the store. I've hit Lowes and the Home Depots at all hours of the day but I've never seen one this deserted. It was strange because it's conveniently located next to all sort of neighborhoods. I guess people just don't have things break in this part of town? I didn't have any issues finding the parts I needed, and there were plenty of employees available to point me in the right direction for them. I'm kind of surprised by the low ratings at this location. We've only had good to great customer service here and when we had questions on how to fix somethings or what to try in our attempts at home improvement, we always got some good to excellent ideas. We particularly like the garden center staff who are very nice and patient. Mindy in cabinets area was very nice and helped answered some things that were not in her dept. Another gentleman who worked in appliance, though, was quite unable to help me answer something that he just said was not in his area, but he did refer me to someone at the Pro desk who tried to help, but was not the nicest about it even though he gave some thoughts to it and some observations, but then he quickly got impatient when I asked a couple follow-up questions to better understand how to fix that patio cover's underside/ceiling. Best customer service goes to the paint dept's staff person, I don't recall his name, but he guided us all the way to the weather stripping area to show us where things are that we were looking for instead of just saying it's on Aisle ## and he also explained how to ready paint codes to me (Base A B C, etc.) in a simple way (there's more to it, that I'll just have to take time to read up on). He even helped us look into getting some mechanical parts for some window blinds that are malfunctioning, although Lowe's doesn't carry those parts. He made sure all of our questions were answered before he left us to figure things out. Kudos to him and our appreciations! Finally, I found some great values in their large clearance section at one end of the store and also found a few other little sections of clearance items in (what seems to me to be) random parts of the store. Multiple issues with carpet install, installer no shows, failure to reorder replacement carpet, months of delays just leaves me saying I will never shop here again if I can avoid it. Do not buy carpet from them as their installer, Keller, hires the cheapest labor with no skills who do not follow install procedures and even when they finally inspect and say it needs to be redone completely, they fail to reorder the carpet. They schedule the re- install but then can't find the carpet so have to wait ANOTHER month for them to reorder and reinstall. I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent carpet purchase and installation through Lowe's. The entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing. First, it was very difficult to get scheduled with your installer (Keller) in a timely manner. When Keller finally came to provide an estimate, the sales associate explained to me that they would cut tile and replace it with carpet. I was quoted a price, which I paid, including $390 specifically for tile cutting. However, when the installer arrived three weeks later, he informed me that they did not have a tile saw and instead planned to lay the carpet over the tile. The result looks unprofessional, is already coming unglued, and does not match what I was promised or paid for. When I called to have the issue corrected, Keller stalled and ultimately refused to fix the job. To make matters worse, Lowe's Installation Support--specifically Manager Kelly--sided with Keller instead of addressing my concerns. This is despite the fact that the work order clearly states tile cutting was included, and that Keller successfully removed and replaced tile in a separate room during this same project. Kelly failed to resolve the situation, and I was not offered a refund for the incomplete and substandard work. Dealing with Lowe's, in my opinion, has been a misfortune for my 2024. I purchased toilets from the store and paid for delivery and installation. That was in February and fast forward to mid-April, I still don't have anything installed. During the first try, the people went to the store to pick up the toilet, only to discover that the store did not realize the toilet was to be picked up, and by that point all models of that toilet were sold out. We rescheduled, and on the second try, the contractor (arranged by Lowe's, not by me) unilaterally rescheduled the installation date because of certain inconveniences on their end. This morning (April 12) was the third try, and the installer did not know that he was supposed to pick up the toilet, nor did Lowe's! I have to wait again for the installation. It appears, IMO, the store is not able to fulfill their obligation of installation. I paid extra money for the installation thinking I can trust the business. It appears my trust is sorely misplaced. We are supposed to have another date rescheduled, but it has been three hours, and no one has reached out to me for a rescheduling. Do not shop at this Lowe's. I received incorrect information about a return. Because I lost my debit card I used to purchase an item I wanted to return. I was told my only option was a store credit. Once I was given that, I returned to see if there was anything I could do, only to find out it could have been returned to my bank account had I not done the store credit. We wanted to buy a new refrigerator and our first and only stop was Lowe's. I had done my research and knew what I wanted, Fingerprint resistant and no ice/water dispenser in the door. Easy enough, they had what I wanted and the salesman was very helpful. They give a two hour time frame for delivery and I recieved a text bright and early a couple of days later saying they were on their way. I purchased a 10*10 gazebo from Lowe's on August 17th 2023 upon delivery the box was damaged. I spoke briefly with the delivery company and they told me to contact Lowe's. I literally had to pay a company to assemble it. The person laid out everything nicely to ensure all would go well . He noticed that two of the posts were damaged badly! moving forward I contacted Lowe's customer service and got the run around. I finally got someone to tell me where the gazebo originated from. I was told it originated from Lowe's home improvement 7100 West Ray road in Chandler. I contacted delivery and spoke to Chris/McKenzie on separate occasions. Chris informed the gazebo will be picked up by a third party delivery on September 11th and it was. Two weeks later I contacted the Chandler location and spoke to Mackenzie and was informed that they never received the item back in their warehouse. He stated that they will contact the third party pick up and delivery company they use to see where the item is. Another week went by and I contacted the Lowe's location and Mackenzie informed the third party does not know where the item is. So I asked him how long it would take to find this item he told me he didn't know. I stated that's not good business and he told me they don't have a time frame. Today is October 20th 2023 and I still have yet to hear from Lowe's. I went on to contact my bank credit card department to deal with them moving forward. I do not suggest ordering anything that is extra large from Lowe's that does not come directly from Lowe's warehouse and is purchased through a third party. I like this Lowe's! It is the one closest to where I live and the workers here have always been pretty pleasant. I most often frequent the garden center in search of new plant babies. They actually had the one I wanted "out of the box" so it was an extra bonus. Loaded it up. Got it home. Got new groceries. Doesn't work . Customer service can't help. Load fridge back up. Customer service was very nice. They immediately got management. Management got someone from appliances. We really wanted this particular grill..since not being able to find one at ACE we decided to try Lowe's! What an awesome awesome experience! After not being able to find the grill that we were looking for, we asked Nick, who was in the middle of doing something else on the floor...without hesitation, he took us right to the exact grill. It was the only one left... it also was $60 more than at ACE.. Nick loaded up the grill on a cart for us and said that if we can pull up the sale on our phone, they will price match.. he was super friendly and helpful! I bought a French Door less than 10 Years ago. I've had nothing but issues with it since we bought it. First it was installed wrong and the installers were back about 5 times. The store manager was at the house to look at it and admitted the installers needed to come back. It was a door with blinds inside the windows. Now they don"t work. It is really frustrating making a large purchase and being screwed. Now I have to hire a real door company to look at it because it is stewed and the caulking or whatever they used is drying up. I have literally spent 6 days waiting for my dishwasher to be installed. Crst home solutions and their subcontractors are just the worst. And yes, there are 3 levels you need to go through to get an appliance installed! Crst sent a few automated text messages, the servicer of the servicer text once...bottom line is you can't get answers and in my case, you can't get appliances delivered. Today was the 5th day I was promised by crst and/or their servicer. Its a ridiculously horrible system. After today's failed delivery from 3-5, I just requested a refund from Lowe's. This was the first appliance I purchased from them, I highly doubt I will even shop there again. Crst has 1 of 5 rating on BBB, obviously not accredited. All I have read are complaints about this company. Hopefully lowes will look into hiring customer service oriented and competent installers in the future. I ordered a new door from Lowe's months ago. The door was supposed to be installed almost 2 months ago, but every time I spoke to someone there was an item missing. They had good communication at first, but then I stopped receiving updates. I'm finally told that it's ready for install, only to receive a damaged door. In the past we have used Home Depot for our home improvement projects but we thought we would try Lowes for a change. NEVER AGAIN. The most awful experience. With HM you get one contact person to deal with. With Lowes you never know who you will get. The flooring dept seldom answers the phone. The flooring manager, Collen, and the store manager, Adam, both promised to follow up and return our calls. Never happened. Here are some of the things we experienced. 1. Received different information from different associates as to what was needed (Mark vs Marcus) 2. Associate ordered material we did not want or need (2 types of underlayment and baseboard-Marcus) 3. The on site measurements did not include the hall area 4. Additional material needed for hall was not ordered. 5. Installers came on time but left due to not all material being on the job site. 6. When the Lowes driver arrived to deliver material, he left it in the parking lot. My 71 yo wife and her 79 yo friend had to carry the 1020+ pounds of material in 102 degree heat into the job site. He would not even cut the plastic wrap off. 7. Both the store manager and flooring manager did not get back to us as they had promised. 8. When material arrived at the store, the store would not deliver it when needed so my wife and I had to pick it up and deliver it to the job site. 9. On the rescheduled day of installation, one piece of material was the wrong color (1/4 round) and not enough ¼ quarter was there to complete the job. I had to spend 1 1/2 hours driving to get the right amount of material. 10. Eclipse, the installers, did a good job. 11. It was explained many time that the installation was in a short term rental 2 story condo. Things must happened on time as we had to block days from our unit being available for rent. We lost 2 days of rent. Est $250/day. Asking for $500 compensation. LOWES OFFERED JUST $25. I told them to keep their $25! NEVER AGAIN. STAY AWAY FROM THE CHANDLER STORE. read more

Lowe's get credit for promptly processing a complete refund, but OMG do not buy household appliances from them. They have an internal installation unit, but the actual installation and warranty service is outsourced to CRST Home Solutions, which is a disaster. Dishwasher ordered 6/3/21: Midea standard size, low-dB (i.e., quiet) but nothing too special. Lowe's location puts dishwasher unit on loading dock 6/3. Installer is supposed to contact us. For more than a week, we hear crickets Call to Lowe's Installation number more than a week later results in an installation date more than a week after that, 6/18. Installer shows up, without the proper input hose, blames the Lowe's store, finds the right hose on the truck, installs somewhat crooked, connects outflow to the sink drain overflow (not the actual drain). But that's not the main problem, since all of that is basically fixable if a comedy of errors. Main problem: dishwasher stops cycle about 15 minutes in. Will not reset with an unplug/replug. How do I get warranty service? I walk into local Lowe's, which tells me to call the installation number, and the installation line tells me that they provide warranty service through ... CRST Home Solutions! Okay, repair people show up 6/23, certify unit as unrepairable (though they think it's just a faulty sensor), and tell me to contact Lowe's for a replacement. At this point, I'm thinking I should put Lowe's Installation line on my Family-and-Friends plan. So, I call the installation line, they say they need to put me in contact with the local store, where someone says, yes, they can order a replacement. THIS time, CRST Home Solutions contacts me promptly to say that they can install the replacement unit 6/28. I'm out of town, but my spouse will be there, sure, fine. 6/28, am: installer calls my spouse, says they should have the unit there in 30 minutes. Yay! 30 minutes later: installer calls back, says that the replacement unit is not on the loading dock. When I return from my trip, I go to the store 7/3, and the appliance department says that, yes, the unit has been sitting on the dock of the relevant store since 6/26. Yes, friends, the installer went to the wrong Lowe's and didn't try calling anyone to see if they went to the wrong store. If you're still reading this, you may note that it has now been exactly a month since I ordered a dishwasher, and a dishwasher I have not. And, its being a holiday weekend, Lowe's installation line is giving its folks the weekend off. That's fine, since it doesn't matter whether I call them that day or Tuesday. I called Tuesday, 7/6/21, and Lowe's did not dispute the refund request. They processed it within two days. Best service yet in this interaction. And I have a brand-new, shiny, nonoperating Midea dishwasher that probably just needs a sensor replaced read more

Worked with Lowe's for our laminate floor purchase and installation. They brought in Cesar's to do the actual installation. Everything looked great, but then we had a small leak from our refridgerator and it revealed that the installation was done incorrectly, and MAJOR corners were cut. Backer rod and caulking, which was purchased and delivered to the house prior to work beginning, was not used as we had talked about with Lowe's and as per Pergo instructions. This resulted in the leak being way worse than it should've ever been - water went under HALF of our new floors and they had to be ripped out (literally, just one month after installation), along with our bottom cabinets, which were also impacted by the water. Furthermore, the backer rod and caulking materials are not in the house. And since neither were used in the installation, we can only suspect it was taken by the installers, sadly. We have been trying to work with Lowe's to remedy this. It has been 4 weeks (incident happened 9/27/19, it is now 10/25/19) and we've gotten NOWHERE. We've basically been passed around - from store manager, to "customer service" to the claims department. Claims did finally send an adjuster out on Wed 10/16, and we've heard NOTHING back (we were told 3-5 days) despite following up with both the adjuster and our Claims contact twice this week. It's become very clear to us that this major issue is not a priority for Lowe's. How disappointing after spending this much money. We've been living in an essential construction zone for 4 weeks now - exposed cement, ripped up walls, dust everywhere. At this point, it's starting to impact our quality of life having to live like this with no end in sight because we can't get Lowe's to respond with action steps on how they're going to fix our floors and cabinets. We have no kitchen. We're missing half our living room floors. It's a disaster. I understand Lowe's didn't do the actual work, but they are responsible for sending trusted installers to work on their behalf. They failed. I wrote a similar review for Cesar's as well as I think people need to be aware of what's going on here since I don't imagine this was the first time corners were cut. Fortunately, most people would just never realize it unless they had an incident that would reveal the shoddy work. I'm also not 100% convinced the leak wasn't a result of the installers moving the fridge around during the installation process, and not confirming the hook-ups were secured once they moved it back into place. This Lowe's store is always clean and professional looking. Items are well stocked. On this particular visit, we went to purchase Christmas decor and they did not disappoint. Christmas stuff everywhere! I particularly loved the "enchanted forest" as I nicknamed it. Trees, trees everywhere with a bench to sit on inside. I could sit there all day and look at the pretty lights! I highly recommend this store. We've purchased appliances, and all kinds of items here and never once had a problem. read more
