Oh, Lowe's... you rate very high(e) with me! There's something so inviting about this store! I like the layout, the setup, the people, all the choices, in every department. I look forward to the holiday decorations every year. They have a huge inventory-with everything from lighting to ornaments at Christmas... and all the yard display items you can think of! But I also enjoy the regular, daily items as well. I've bought everything from paint to window shades and ant traps. I've had some really excellent service and advice from different employees. They're always easy to find here-and ready to help. I appreciate that so much. I've run into some great bargains/deals from time to time. And they have a massive parking lot. They're also located near so many other great stores and restaurants-and they're open early, for DIY warriors, who want to seize the day. Yep, I'm sold-and I'll see you soon! read more

I went here looking for certain PVC piping fittings for my AC unit. I asked an employee for help and explained what I needed. He started walking towards the next isle so I follow him. He turns around and says, "don't follow me." I was shocked. I felt that was very rude. He should have simply said, "wait right here sir. I'll look for the items you need." If Lowe's management reads this. I didn't get his name. It was a middle aged black guy. Please Lowe's management train your employees with basic customer service commination skills. The older man who came was so rude and grumpy, kind of feel a little Racist towards me. I asked if he could help me find the rights size post. Rudly answered that he didn't know. So I chose one that felted would work in my price range. Well, I got to register the wrong one. I love stopping in these type of warehouses. They are my Tools-R-Us little slice of heaven for me. I always find what im looking for n then always like staying longer to dream a little dream for future projects. I came before today for key duplication. I waited patiently at the automated machine. Had a gentleman before me doing 9 copies. But i chose to stay n wait because i never used these types of machines. I had a nice lady up front try and convince me to go to the employee operated machine but I really had my mind set! I honestly liked the automated one better even if it was more expensive! Why?! The auto one gave me a free third key n made a profile of my key n loaded it up in a cloud. I linked my app to the QR code n now if i go whoops all i need is to find another machine n load up my account n get another one done! I will come back to backup my car keys while im at it. Nifty little upgrade all part of the service fee. The store is clean n employees are always at the ready to help. I get constantly greeted by everybody. They got nice selections on everything. Decent prices. I love their garden area, it's well kept with a couple hiccups here n there but i see that in other competitions to. Easily fixed with having an extra employee during operation opening team that focuses in replacing dead or dying plants. Fixing the sand, mulch n gravel bags. Some were tore up or insides on the floor. I also noticed in the ladies bathroom the troubling toilet was still sticking. No flush flow, someone else got it this time. I won the embracing lottery when i came for my keys cloning. O_o don't remember which one it is exactly but its in the middle closer to the handicap one. Those were my little hiccups that i found. All fixable with a little love n hard work. Best part to fix this? They already have the tools n man power to fix them. I also didn't like that the veggies n spices were outside O_o i had stuff in my hands n im pretty sure I would've been chased for walking outside with merchandise. Lol Awesome thing? For Veterans month they made a nice tribute parking spot for Vets upfront. It has flowers n a thank you board. I never seen anybody else do that! That's hella cool! Blessings n honor to all vets I also spotted Tea plants under $15 a pot! And Pineapple plants with fruit growing on them! Im definitely coming back! What a great place to pickup additional items for a large project. I want to give a shout out to Jose, & Allan from the flooring department, they're awesome! Both gentlemen were helpful even though the vinyl I chose wasn't in stock at this location. They helped me gather all the remaining supplies, which I wouldn't have known. Great service at this Lowe's! One thing I truly appreciate about Lowe's home improvement stores is the fact that they keep their isles and floors so clean. Maybe it's the finish they put on the concrete that gives it that polished look - it just feels a little less like a warehouse then Home Depot. Pricing and location of merchandise are decent, and you can usually find someone ready to help you with whatever project you've got. I've found that the grill pricing is a little heavy, here and at Hone Depot. Hoping there will be some sales soon for new season. read more

Wrote a google review, and received a response about how they take "discrimination" seriously and how I should call a corporate #. Your unprofessional POC employee casually saying the N word while on duty has absolutely nothing to do with discrimination. I've been a local customer at this place - never coming back. As a first time home owner who isn't as handy as I would like, Lowe's is a great. They have the same items as Home Depot, with the exception of some of Home Depot's own brand items which I have only found in the paint department so far. You know what they have that Home Depot doesn't have? Quality service! It seems like most of the people who work here are retired contractors and can generally answer most of your questions. Another added benefit of this place is that Lowe's offers a lot of deals and support to military vets, so if that is something you care about this is the store for you. Getting in and out of here is pretty easy, just watch out for traffic around the Chic-fil-a. read more

We were supposed to have a rug delivered between 8 and 12 today. It is now almost 6 pm and still no rug. The whole day has been wasted. Called the delivery service who referred me to my local Lowes store with questions. After sitting on hold multiple times I finally got a person who could only look into the computer system. When the system said it already was delivered we became alarmed that it might have delivered to the wrong address. The supervisor at Lowes could not call for information but could only email. Needless to say the whole day has been wasted and still no rug. We do not recommend Lowes delivery service as they cannot seem to get the job done, at least not when they claim they will. read more

I went to Loews to have keys made and utilized one of the automatic machines(owned by a third party). The cost for my order was $7 dollars and I opted to pay cash. After inserting a $5 dollar bill I had a $2 dollar balance, I attempted to insert another $5, but the machine warned that it accepts exact change only. I requested a refund from the machine, but was directed to call a customer service number (closed because it was Sunday). No refund and no keys, the machine simply held my $5 dollars. I spoke with Curtis, a manger at Loews, and was told that he would deal with customer service on Monday. He proceeded to pay for the keys with his own credit card and gave me the copies. He understood the hassle involved with getting a refund and willingly decided to accept that hassle on my behalf. His kind gesture saved me a lot of time and aggravation. Curtis and the staff at Loews went above and beyond. Thanks again. read more

We needed blinds cut down and she pointed to the blinds and said " you'll need them cut down " and walked away. The staff was not helpful during my visit. I asked 4 different staff members the same question and received a different [incorrect] response each time. It was super frustrating when employees did the pointing gesture "over there" after I thoroughly explained what my needs were and expressed my discontent. I have another home improvement store within a block of me but I greatly prefer this Lowe's because they are always well-stocked. Online inventory check is accurate, although the location of items on the store map is much more reliable through the app than the website. Finding help in a home improvement store is never perfect, but I have the least headache with this branch whenever I do need assistance. This store is horrible even some of the new trainees seem like they have an attitude. I would say the reason why they have 2 stars is because the workers in individual Departments are great very helpful re to talk to. My father placed an order for hardyboard and obviously needed it to be delivered since it was a bundle ( 252 pieces ) but the cashier pit it down for pick up ‍ ....... So after the hassle they gave my 64 year old father even though they messed up, and told him his paperwork was a nightmare, it got changed.... 6 weeks later still nothing... The managers didn't even know what to tell me, because at this point I intervened, Nobody had any idea... Let's be real it's not that difficult... After going down there in person which did nothing... The next 3 days I spent playing phone tag and spoke with Mike the shipping and receiving manager... If you want to feel ignored and like you don't exist... COME HERE! Associates will ignore the hell out of you... matter fact, not only will they ignore you.... they will put forth such effort so you clearly know that you are being ignored. I was looking at paint and an associate walked down the aisle and didn't even acknowledge my existence (I grasped a little because all of the lowes that I have ever been to were super friendly!). No biggie. I guess I don't need the associate to welcome me to lowes and ask me if I need any help. -__- Anway, I'm in the aisle looking at paint and I'm super duper confused. I go to another aisle, come back. The associate looks at me and keeps putting stickers on paint cans in the most dismissive manner. At one point I'm reading a few cans of paint to see what material they can paint.... she stands right beside me putting stickers on paint cans.... RIGHT BESIDE ME and still doesn't acknowledge my existence despite the big HELP written all over my face. So finally, I find the paint I need and move over to the wood section. Now this section, doesn't even have any associates walking around and I can't find anyone to help me.... so I go back to the paint aisle and there's that same associate putting stickers on paint cans who ignored the hell out of me for the past 15 minutes. I take a deep breath and go, "Excuse me. I need help in the wood section" she turns around as slow as a slug stuck in peanut butter and says "Oh, I don't know anything about wood. " I almost told her that Lowes needs to hire better help, but i didn't lol. So she walks me to the cashier who advises me to go down aisle-whatever and I should see a few associates there. So I do as she says, and surprise.... there are all the associates in lumber! Huddled together and chatting it up like they aren't on the clock -__- Anyway, the ONLY reason why I'm rating this place 2 stars instead of one is because the guy in the lumber department was awesome. He was friendly ONCE i found him. He was super knowledgable. He didn't try to upsell me things. He even cracked a few jobs about the woman in the paint department who ignored me. I got help in hardware picking bolts and screws for my small project. I could not get anyone in the lumber department to even speak to me. I needed a little pro advice on the best wood to use and to get it cut to rough size. After 15 minutes of being ignored the nice lady at checkout told me there were 4 people working in lumber. DO NOT BUY HURRICANE PANELS AT THIS LOCATION...... They took $3,500 from 89 year old customer over 5 months ago. They have cancelled installation multiple times. The metal panels have been in the customers garage for over 4 months? Paul, the rep from Lowe's that sold the job LIED when he promised the payment in full ( check) would be held until installation was complete. Lowe"s cashed the check within 3 days. They were supposed to install the shutters today September 6, 2018. They did not show up and claimed installer was sick. They tried to reset installation for October 12,2018. Poor customer service in the wood cutting area . I asked for som help in getting some wood cut and the guy told me no can't do it. I asked why and he said that's too many and the big commercial saw can't do it. But during I have seen them cut before. Then he said I have other orders before you to do. Then he asked another man can he do it. I got a lot of other things to do. That guy said it has to be five inches or something. A better answer would have been we can't do special order cuts at this time. I said just say you can't do it . The other stuff sounds like excuses. My husband and I bought our first house a year ago and lowes has been our life saver. First- the prices bar none-- better than other home improvement stores. Second-They almost always have everything we could need! Third- The service is good! We usually have to hunt someone down but they are super helpful and knowledgeable. From fans, to pipe cutters, lawn equipment and even curtains-- they have it and we've needed it! The self check outs are so hard to use with that type of merchandise and only one or two registers are usually open so check out can be a pain but its not too bad at all. Came back a second time for more tile. The whole process was seamless. I had a lot of help loading the tile, cashing out, and then loading the product into my truck. I was in and out with over 400 ft.² of tile coverage. I have been to local flooring stores in the area, it is always a hassle to try to get help loading, and help calculating how much product I need. Its right around the corner from my house so its a quick trip for me to go and pick up all my project items that I drag my fiancé into :) This trip we had to return some items because we bought extra (whoops, wrong cut list!). The young lady at the customer service desk was very nice and quick to return our items so we could go gather the other supplies I forgot we needed. They were out of the one trim/chair railing we needed but they have such a great selection we picked something else instead. When having a hard time locating the last item we needed he staff were very helpful and polite in helping us find what we needed. One downfall is when we went to check out the only lines open were the self-checkout's. Now any other given day I'd be all about that but having wood and hoping you don't hit the person in front of you while trying to scan it yourself, a little frustrating. Overall, Lowe's has all you home improvement needs. The price match competitors as well. The prices online and inshore are the same. Great Lowes location! I like the layout of this store, and find is generally kept clean and well stocked. Staff here is usually pretty good, smiling and helpful. Another plus, and I think they beat the competition in this category, is the way they handle online order pickups. Down the street at the "orange place" picking up online orders can be absolutely painful, but not here. There is no confusion on what you're there to pick up at all. Seems like it would be easy, but try at HD and watch in horror as they try to match up your online order number with some internal number, fumbling around for 20 - 30 minutes until they find your stuff (this has happened to me 3 times). Garden department gets good grades too, they usually have a better selection of hanging plants than their orange competitor. read more

What a wonderful experience my Sister and I had last Friday. There was a customer service person from lumber, his name is Reggie, the service he gave was above and beyond what I've ever received from a Lowe's store. Reggie was able to show us everything we needed for our horseshoe pit project and what a relief to have help. It was great not spending tons of time searching for everything, especially when I had no idea what some of the parts even look like. Reggie actually loaded bags of concrete on the cart along with lumber, and then he was able to cut everything to the measurements needed. Another positive, our cashier was really polite and had a happy, friendly personality, a smile can make the biggest difference to me. After checking out, Reggie to the rescue again, he loaded our truck with everything purchased all safe for driving. Very thankful for the help. :) read more

I've had my ups and downs in the "customer service" department - some employees are helpful, others look at you like they don't understand English.. but mostly helpful and nice. Convenience is the main reason why I chose the rating. You can't beat a two minute drive for a $1 item (lol). The only difference I see between Lowes and home Depot on a major scale is the stores feel. I feel that Lowes is a high end home improvement store (like you have to be dressed well) vs. home depot which I don't mind showing up half way through a project, hot and sweaty to get the item I forgot. Prices are approximately the same (when shopping online). Both stores price match the other. Customer service is ok here. Kind of hard to find employees walking around if i am having a hard time making a choice or figuring a problem out.
