Garbage store selling garbage products, will not let you return their garbage. This place is such a ripoff. You can get the same products for a literal fraction of the price and not have to worry. Always helpful in finding my needs. The staff always greets upon entering and ready to help. The shelves are always stocked well with a wide variety of household needs for repairs and upgrades. There are plenty of seasonal decorations, a great selection of tools and cleaners, paints and the largest selection of odd bolts, nuts and screws. We went here to LOOK at bbq grills. Joe L took quite a bit of time with us and steered us to the napoleon grills. After about 20 minutes of him explaining the differences between grills and brands we bought a napoleon. Bought the one on the floor prebuilt and the best part was they delivered it within 30 minutes of us purchasing. The delivery person was off at 4 but took the time to deliver it to us after his scheduled going home time. Kudos to the staff that helped us today. We know where to go for great customer service!!! This store used to be amazing and excelled at customer service. That is NOT true now. Over the last year or so, service has fallen off a cliff. Constant groups of 2-3 employees huddled together avoiding customers. It feels rude in here now. I never see a smile or friendly face. This store had earned my business through it's service. They offer a 5% veteran discount and each time I bring it up they always have an excuse to not give it. They have a loyalty program that doesn't seem to do anything, but they are quick to tell you that you can't do both loyalty and veteran together. Lowe's and Home Depot will get me back and they have a 10% veteran discount. read more

This location is clean, well staffed with knowledgeable employees, has good prices, plenty of parking even when we were pulling a small boat, and is overall a good place to get in and out quick with the few hardware items we needed. The lines move fast at the register, and the workers know where everything we asked for was exactly located inside the store. Shelves were kept organized and well stocked. Not as many items as some of the other huge national chains, but they carry all the basics for most do it yourself home projects. I recommend this location for your hardware needs. read more

I went into Ace on big bend road today. My wife needed horse hay since we were out. The employee Dae Vaun did everything that he could to make sure I had feed delivered to our horses. He loaded and delivered the hay immediately! Outstanding! He's excellent with customer care and troubleshooting at a timely fashion. He's a 5 star employee that reflects on Ace! I still enjoy the small town feel of this location. They offer a great selection on feed and pet supplies. I like to come here for various items or projects I might have when I need a little advice on where to began. Got a awesome deal on a XL Dog crate for my shepherds $99 bucks! Also pretty friendly and super helpful staff also. They offer a lot of conveniences like cleaning supplies and other office supplies and such but the really priced high so you don't save so much I think it's more of a convenience or if you're looking to one-stop for various items while you're picking up some custom paint or some dog food. Unfortunately the parking stinks because of the eateries and such but still worth the trip. read more

I have been purchasing products from this location for years. There seems to be quite a bit of turnover as of recently. The two females working the registers were not very friendly or interested in engaging with the stores clients. Maybe just a quick overview from management on professionalism. Came in for some paint sample swatches based on a friends recommendation and I found about 15 shades that I liked. The one cashier in the paint section was really nice and helpful! Gave some good advice for buying samples online too if I wished. 10/10! read more

Great place to go if you need some advice on how to fix something and you don't know where to start. They are a little pricey but I see it as a trade off for the service I get. I have never been more greatful to a hardware store than I am right now. After a week of no vacuum and two extreamly shedding, black haired pups, I was desperate. My parts finally arrived to fix my vacuum, unfortunately I needed a type of screwdriver I did not own. Frustrated and annoyed, I drive over to Ace. As I stand at the closed for the day doors, a worker named Joe, asked what we were in need of. He then unlocked the doors and let us in to buy a much needed screwdriver. Recently purchased a Big Green Egg (large) from my local Ace. Yes I could have found a little cheaper elsewhere but this store has always been a big part of our home projects. So I wanted to keep the money in the local business, and I am glad I did.
