My first Rockler store. Absolutely incredible! Amazing selection of rough cut wood and anything else a woodworker could dream of. This store just opened and I've already been back several times. I felt like a kid in a candy store!! The staff at this location seem to be exceptionally knowledgeable and extremely friendly as well. My new favorite store of all time!

We put off getting a new light fixture for a few months (broke the glass shades) due to covid, but…read morethe bare bulbs were getting annoying at some point. I heard about Brandon Lighting from past clients and it was within 5 miles from our place so we decided to give it a go. My clients come from South Tampa and told me that they drive to this store because they had really good options without the S.Tampa price. This is a hidden gem of a place! They have little display rooms within the building that have different ambiances for you to be able to visualize the lighting fixtures in an area that they would look really good in. We found our new fixture in the room that was painted light blue, since it was closest to the color scheme we have in the room where the light would be installed. The colors worked perfectly once it was up! There are so many options, and the prices were not bad at all. Kimon was the lady who helped us with the buying process, and she was super helpful. She provided catalogues, helped us with the dimensions of the fixture, and made sure we had enough hanging height to make it perfect for our home. We picked it up the next day and everything was packed and ready to go. Regarding covid precautions: they provide masks and have markers all over the place. It is not crowded at all and maintaining 6ft distance is very doable. I highly recommend this business.

So at the start of COVID I accidentally broke the light that hung over our kitchen table. We got some recommendations to check this place out once everything reopened. I am so happy we did not settle for anything we found online. For those of you who are concerned about the virus, they have masks available for free at the entrance and they keep everything as clean as possible. As you shop around the place, there are rooms on the all off to the sides of the main room. Each one of these rooms lights up when you walk in showing off a different type of room you have in your house and a variety of possible lights for that room. Some are on the expensive end, but if you are on a budget you can still find something at an affordable price. The staff is also very friendly. We needed the rods that hang our light fixture from the ceiling to be a little longer. When we asked if there was anyway we could get them extended, they gave us the extra rods from the display and even said they would have happily ordered some for us if needed. All in all, if you want to brighten up your house, head down here.

It wasn't cheap at around $18000, but it seemed within reason to national averages. Kent and his helper were quick, polite, and easy to get in touch with. I'd recommend him to anyone who wants quality work. We paid $6000 for a faulty patch job to a bigger company that he had to fix, so in retrospect, I wish that we had gone with Kent from the get go.

Everyone knows that lighting is the jewelry to your home and can make living there so much more peaceful and pleasant. It took me several weeks and many visits to his showroom to make my final decisions. He was very polite and not only helped to keep me on budget but had wonderful recommendations that not only saved me some money but were much better than I had originally envisioned. I Definity recommend Steve and Aim Lighting for all of your lighting needs. I will absolutely be a repeat customer! Thank you, Steve and Aim Lighting!

The one photo online that was put up by the business owner lead me to believe that there would be your standard size showroom of lighting displayed as one would imagine a showroom would be typically. Granted this business is in the small historic district of downtown Plant City but I was hopeful. I walked in and the owner greeted me politely and as I looked around noticing that the showroom was approximately 20 feet by 15 feet and I asked, "Is this was the showroom?" He confirmed it was and informed me that he had other lights in storage and at his farm but this was all he had on display. As I'm standing there in shock and disappointment at the size and the options, he shared that he is the only business owner that survived the Great Depression in all of Hillsborough county as he used to have a showroom in Brandon FL as well. I asked "Which one?" just to be sure I heard what he said and he repeated himself and referenced 2006-2008. I believe he meant to say the Great Recession but I carried on, taking one last look not moving more than 1 foot from the front door and then thanked him for his time. Not sure that his business being the only business to survive the Great Recession is an accurate statement as there are several other lighting stores in Tampa who also survived and actually have a 10 times the size of his, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as he may have meant in regards to his volume and size showroom compared to others in his category. Nonetheless, this store had a slim slim selection and hardly any variety of styles. Maybe it would be better to call or visit his online website for more options. The rating is for his polite greeting but overall brief conversation and options on display. I would encourage any seekers to look elsewhere for their desired lighting.
