BEWARE. Lowes will reschedule your delivery the day that you're expecting the delivery. My original invoice stated next-day delivery. I waiting at home all day because they said that they would arrive between 8a-8p. On the day of the promised delivery, Lowes changed the date for 2 days later without notice. No call to notify me. Only a text later in the afternoon telling me they changed the delivery date. I have contractors coming & Lowes would not even give me the consideration of arranging a morning delivery when they gave themselves all day to put my order together. The level of incompetence at this Lowe's is truly astonishing. I placed an online order and did not receive any kind of order confirmation or any follow up emails. I show up to the store the day that my order was supposed to arrive and they had no clue how to locate my order. The communication was just not there, the associates where not being clear as to what was going on and kept leading me on making me think that they were making some sort of progress on locating my order but literally nothing was happening. After getting help from 3 associates, the assistant manager John, and 40 minutes of my time being wasted, one associate (the main one helping the whole time) took a good look at his computer screen and realized that my order wasn't even there. It was right in his face the whole time! I had to ask like 3 times to speak to the manager before they brought John out, I could tell he did not want to talk to me at all. He was just as useless as everyone else, he no apologies and no sympathy. He simply did not care. He incorrectly stated that the main associate helping would call me the next day to follow up because at this point I just wanted a refund. The associate later told me he was actually off the next two days but to not worry that he was going to email management so they can follow up with me. ITS BEEN TWO WEEKS AND ONE DAY and still no follow up!!! This was a horrible experience and a complete waste of my time. I decided to call the store and their AI powered answering machine was more useful than anyone at the store. Guess what the AI answering machine told me? It told me my order was ready and it even send me my damn order info so I can scan the barcode at the pick up locker. There is a clear lack of training at the store and it's not hard to see why. I am NEVER going to this store again. I will also be calling and speaking to the manager to report all of this because this is ridiculous. This is probably the poorest managed store I've ever visited. When I had an issue I asked for the manager and she told the person I asked, " Tell him i'm in a meeting." She did not want to deal with me regarding the issues that I had, which was I just wanted to check out and no lanes were open. Lowe's normally does OK. However, just this week, I purchased a water heater AO Smith. This was a mistake, the worst ever customer service from Lowe's and AO Smith. Lowe's is selling water heaters from AO Smith that cannot be returned when they do not work.   I purchased a 40 gal water heater from Lowe's on 1-27-2023 and installed it myself.  It worked to some degree but not to full capacity after installation.  It took 24 hours for it to heat some water.  After 7 days of the water heater working OK, then it stopped.  I called Lowe's to ask about returns since it had water in it, and no one from that department would answer the phone.  Then I called again 3 times to talk to a store manager and he (they told me his name was John) would not answer the phone after each time the store operator said he would talk to me.  Finally, I talked to someone that said Lowe's could not take the water heater back without a return authorization number from AO Smith.  I don't understand why a store that sells a product that is defective would not allow for a return, specifically only 11 days after the purchase.  I called AO Smith, and they would not allow me to return the water heater without attempting to repair it first.  This is outrageous; make the customer repair their defect!  Lowe's and AO Smith are selling defective products.  AO Smith said I had to replace the heating elements (2), and they would pay for the part.  Really, it makes me a somewhat disabled old man who has never done this before to replace heating elements.  AO Smith said if I could not do this that they would pay up to $100.00 to have a plumber come out and do the job.  I asked them to tell me what plumber would charge me $100.00 to come to my house and do this job.  They said if it was more, I had to pay for the rest.  If the repairs did not resolve the issue, they would allow me to return the water heater.  When my friend took out the element, the top one was rusted out, and pieces were missing.  How can this be sold by the company and Lowe's?   This is insulting, frustrating, and not right.  If they would not allow me to return the water heater, they should have fixed it and paid for it.  As it was, I had to go back to the store and get the parts and then find a friend to do the work for free.  I spent time and gas money to get this resolved when all I should have to do is take it back to the store.  Is this legal? It took a week or more to come just to measure the windows so that was a lot of time wasted to send guys that can't do the job. Then I called their store and spoke to Nancy who untimately hung up on my call so i had to call again and go through the process from the start. It seems that a lot of time is wasted trying to purchase plantation shutters through this location. I recommend going to a small business owner that focuses on this as they will seem to make you a priority. The plantation shutter staff at lowes really isn't very helpful when it comes this stuff. If you need parts then they will point you in the right direction but the stuff I ordered is way out of their scope. read more

I signed up days before for kids craft at this location for the 10am time slot. I arrived at this location at 10am but there was no setup and they were not prepared for the activity. I inquired with customer service and no one could tell me why the activity was delayed. I spoke with Joey, who I was told was the manager, and he was dismissive. He shared that that someone dropped the ball. However, no apology was issued and as I was asking if there was anything I could do on my end to ensure that the set up was ready next time, he began walking away. The attitude I got from Joey and the staff was, "things happen, get over it". While very much understandable, the message was converted in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner. We were then asked to wait 30 minutes as they prepared for the activity. After waiting more than half an hour, with small children, we asked how much longer the wait would be. Minutes after we were then told that they were ready. As we arrived to the craft area, we noticed that several customers were already at the craft area and working on the craft. And seemingly, the customers were there for some time. The employee that gave us materials for the craft issued incomplete materials and we kept having to ask for needed materials like kits, tools, etc. Then, she proceeded to take pictures of our children without permission. Minutes later, we had to leave early and wasn't able to able to complete the craft as we didn't anticipate waiting over half an hour to start the activity, but our children were sleepy and became fussy. We decided to complete the craft at home. As we packed up to leave, we were asked not to take some materials as other families would be attending, which meant that we could not complete the craft at home. This experience was very disappointing. We were looking forward to a great Saturday morning with our children working on a craft project; but, instead we left extremely frustrated, feeling dismissed and not valued at this location read more

I'm going to change my rating for the Lowe's store due to the fact some of their employees are extremely rude and some act like you bother them cause you ask for assistance. I had a problem with one of their outdoor garden employee cause I got a discount on 12x12 pavers for the outside and the outdoor garden employee didn't like that for whatever reason he had to show this real self twice infront of his other employees he worked with. This is very selfish and unprofessional on his behalf. I spoke with his assistant store manager he spoke with the guy and once I got where I needed to be to load the pavers yesterday he said you should be happy that the manager and the ''black guy'' also a manager gave you a discount. Sounds like he doesn't know how to talk to people. I wish the area manager or general manager would look at my latest rating on this particular store cause the attitude here with some of the employees is ridiculous maybe some of the employees are seasonal that don't care about their job at Lowe's. This is the best Lowes location and the only Lowe's we will go to from here on out. Todd (the associate that helped us) and Julio Sotomayor aka JC (the assistant manager) were the best to work with. As a customer, I felt highly valued. We had an issue with an in store order that we made with a different associate so we came in and tried to get it figured out since we weren't quite sure what was going on. They made sure that we were absolutely taken care of and helped us get the very best deal for our new washer and dryer we ordered! They were a blessing to work with and both deserve a raise! They showed top tear customer service and I will definitely shop here again due to how helpful they were to my husband and I. Not to mention, we are so excited for our new washer and dryer. We're probably here every weekend for supplies to do some kind of project! Everyone there is great! This morning though, checking out in the garden center, one of the cashiers is telling customers repeatedly to form a single file line in the middle! There was one cashier at each register and people literally enter the garden center through the middle. Talk about an inconvenience to everyone and certainly not socially distancing with those trying to enter. I swore this woman was going to get a tape measure to be sure customers checking out were properly lined up. I am a frequent buyer at Lowes and for the most part I typically enjoy my visits. My wife and I were shopping for appliances and had the pleasure of meeting an employee named Linda J. She works in the Home Decor section, which adjoins the appliance section. Let me digress for a minute, our first encounter happened on a Saturday. That, to any frequent shopper at Lowes knows you do not want to be there on a Saturday evening. So there we were, my wife and I, looking at appliances and looking at appliances, did I mentioned that we were looking at appliances. After an eternity, my wife went over to the home decor work station, since no-one was in the appliance area. That's when we meet Linda J. My wife had several questions about appliances, the different features, ordering and delivery options. Linda J had all the answers and pertinent information about each perspective brand. She even mention promos and rebates that were available. We left there only to return several days later. On this visit there was an employee in the kitchen appliance area, we saw Linda J in her work area and upon making eye contact she came over to help us. This time we placed an order for three different kitchen items. Linda J is the epitome of what Lowes hope to represent to their customers. For years this was the only place I shopped for home improvement items. Its easy to get in and out of the parking lot compared to the HD across 60, and carries the exact same items. Unfortunately after what happened to me I'll never go back. Its not a very exciting story, but it definitely was infuriating. I had four Lowe's coupons I'd received inside of a Bounty paper towel multi-pack that I was trying to use. They were for four different products. I'd been buying paper towels all year there and had been using these coupons on items every few months and never had a problem. The coupons looked like any other coupon, except they had the Lowe's logo across the top (big blue line with white word "Lowes" inside of it). They always ring up for zero dollars and the cashier always had to adjust it to reflect the coupon amount. This time when I went to ring out the cashier refused to adjust the amount even after I pointed out they show as zero dollars. When she ran the third coupon she just stared at her screen. Then she asked the self checkout cashier for help as to why the coupons were not ringing up. The self check out cashier literally said "well these are for Lowes." I simply said "we are in Lowes." Did she not know what store she currently worked for? In the end she called someone on the phone and only explained I was trying to use "multiple coupons with the same barcode." Not that they were for different products! How was I to know the coupon for paper towels and the coupon for toilet paper AND the coupon for swiffer pads was going to have the same barcode?! The person on the other end OBVIOUSLY said I couldn't use them all at once. And thats exactly what the cashier said to me, as she handed them all back to me as if I couldn't use any. My transaction was going to be over $70 just for cleaning supplies. Seems stupid, but these two women made me so angry I left the store with nothing and I will never return, which is a shame since I own a local small business that probably spent thousands of dollars in their store every year. Israel in flooring has done such a great job its almost like I hired a contractor. Great recommendations and patience with my wife and I and helped with installation costs. All of the employees there have been great and work as a team. I did not look at the reviews before I purchased the fans, but think Lowe's should have let me know since the bad reviews go back to Jan 2017. I went back and talked to the Asst Manager (Angelo) and asked him to order the replacement boards and install them since I had no idea and had never done anything like that. He said he would call me back in the morning...which he never did - when I finally talked to him in the afternoon - he said he called that morning and I just needed to call the number myself, get the replacement boards and install them myself...crappy customer service and I am done with Lowe's. Since they know the fans are bad (has to do with voltage on the board causing the lights to short out) they should have the boards replaced BEFORE they sell the product. I wonder how many customers have spent hours trying to fix the fans...shame on you Lowe's and I am done with you! When I tried to leave this feedback on the site I repeatedly got an error message stating " Something went wrong on our end. Please try again in a little while."
