This location is a hit or miss. They have one of their lady managers that is rude! Also one of their employees that definitely needs some more training! I don't think it should take over 40 minutes to do a return.it's ridiculous, the store also isn't at its best, it could improve!! Unlike the Lutz location, it's so bright and clean they makes you want to stay longer and shop. However, I spoke to Richard who is a supervisor there and he was so nice and down to earth unlike the other two. After walking around my neighborhood for 30 minutes looking for my package, I finally found them. I was so excited to open the package, but only to find out it still had a security tag attached. Feeling like a criminal now, I'm so upset this happened. I just had a baby by c section, can't drive and the nearest store is almost an hour away. Located in a shopping center. Plenty of parking and shopping carts. The store was neat but the shelves seemed to be empty and missing items. The item I went for was out of stock. Walking around the store felt like I was walking around a store that was a run down discount store or going out of business. It took me a good 10-15 minutes to find an employee to help me confirm the Instant Pot I was looking for was either gone or maybe located somewhere else or in storage. Once confirmed they were indeed out, I was not offered to order in store. The employee walked away. Disappointing store and service. read more

Stopped in to look for some essential oil and was pleasantly surprised at the new and fresh look of the store. It is more open and I like the layout, easier to find what you are looking for. The oil I was looking for was out of stock but Mary went on line trying to locate it for me. Frank told me about a special on the membership and saved me 20 percent on my purchase, plus I got the membership reimbursed. How great was that. Frank and Mary made our visit very special. Easy peasy online ordering for curbside pickup! Plus I got to use my 20% off coupon online to save a bit extra as well. When I arrived I found the curbside parking easily and accessed the phone number to call the store from the text message that they sent telling me my order was ready for pickup. I called and told the lady I was here for curbside and she asked my name and the parking spot I was in. Also asked for color and make of car. Took her about 3 minutes and she arrived at my car. Didn't find the items we were looking for. Seemed a little lean on inventory. No big sales and we heard they were going under so you'd think there would be. But... the creepy thing is that no less than 3 sales ladies followed us around the store. As if they were stalking us. I noticed it immediately and then every time we paused, they would also pause. Longer. Look. We aren't dressed poorly. We're adults. We have excellent hygiene and we have appropriate public behavior. We also do NOT carry backpacks, as we've seen a lot of people do lately. We had our fake virus plandemic masks on. So what is the rationale behind the stalking? We did not find items we were looking for and an actual checkout woman yelled " is there anything we can help you with?" on the way out the automatic doors. Too aggressive. Annoying. Ick. I shopped for several items that I found. Unfortunately the item that was the primary focus of my stop, I did not find. I expected to return home and order it on line. When I got to the register Tammy asked if I'd found everything. When I explained I didn't see the Cambria tension rod, she pulled it up on line and asked for assistance to order it while I was there. Gabriel could not have been more helpful and indicated that something he saw suggested that one might be on premises and I was happy to wait while he looked. In the meantime 2 others asked if I was being helped. There is so much lip service paid to customer service, but the folks here, not only helped but seemed eager, almost joyful to do so. This store is in marked contrast to the other Tampa store. No help in sight. Then when I inquired about some items that weren't marked, the person (who I wish I had their name so I could put it down here) acted like they were busy & was doing me a huge favor to look it up in their computer. She even said erroneously that they don't mark their towels but all the other ones in the store but these 2 last ones that match a set I have were priced. She stated that these 2 would be sent to another store that has these in inventory & pulled them out of my hand. So I just left since she was so rude. I should be a secret shopper!! read more

Not my favorite Bed Bath & Beyond, even though they are closer than the store in Citrus Park. This one is located at the corner of N. Dale Mabry and Fletcher, in the same shopping center as Petco and Whole Foods. The layout of this store is very similar to other BBB's that I've visited, but I'm disappointed to report that their selection is lacking. I've had several occasions where I've stopped in looking for a single item to use at home, or to pack up as a gift......and it's out of stock. As a result I end up ordering the item off of their website, or traveling over to the store in Citrus Park which seems to have a much better selection. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and apologetic.......but since I seldom can find what I want I think I'll skip this store and visit the one in Citrus Park instead. read more

Can not believe how this place treated my family! The employees treated my daughter and wife as if it were a bother to assist them with a purchase. The employees at the customer service counter were a disgrace by openly showing their annoyance with having to order something from the back of the store. Staff: Helpful and cheerful. That was unexpected and saved this from being an epic fail review. Item: Shoe rack - broken when I got it outta the box. Issue: The display model was waaaaayyyyy up on a shelf where I could see it but not check it out to see if it would actually work for big chunky men's shoes..... It does not. And its broken. So now I have to drive my ass all the way up to Sterilewood since they don't have a store in S Tampa... and that makes me very unhappy. But - again - the really friendly and helpful staff saved them from a single star. Too bad this chinese crap was such shite. Real Brides go to Gina! If you need to register at BBB for anything, find Gina. I was lucky enough to work with her to register for my wedding. She was about to head to lunch (which I found out later) when I arrived at 130PM, and we didn't finish until after 7. First of all, I had no idea what I was doing. I was avoiding this day like the plague! The process was incredibly smooth, and step by step we began to build the registry. Gina was honest, straightforward and extremely knowledgeable, so much so that by the end of the day I was simply telling her to pick whatever she thought was best within our parameters. Second, I've never had such a great experience in a BBB or any store like it. I hate shopping, but registering? Ugh! This process is often tedious, but she made it fun. She rode the waves of my emotions instead of getting frustrated like a rookie. I understand that this is supposed to be a review for BBB, not Gina, so I must say that the rest of the staff was helpful as well. When you spend half a day in a store, you see a lot. The manager even checked in on us. It was just a great day. If you are registering, find Gina. If you aren't, this BBB is one of the nicer, large ones around here, so I'd still recommend it. read more

I went there yesterday and the floor employees were awesome and attentive. Actually, VERY helpful!! My issue was at check out. They really need to reassess their checkout procedures. There's always one line and three registers. I waited in line for ten minutes and continuously watched other people walk into the farthest register and get checked out. They didn't know they skipped the main line and no one told them. I was surprised the guy checking them out didn't show them where the line was. Since everyone was as frustrated as I was, I decided to tell the female employee who was at the closest register. I said, "Can you please tell those people down there that the line is here?" And she said, " oh it's ok. I'm almost done and will take you next." That didn't help everyone who waited patiently on line. I put my items on the side and walked out. This may seem like a silly thing but for those of us who don't have unlimited time and have to be in and out of a store, a little consistency would be nice. #badproceedure #willbuyelsewhere read more

I may be a bit biased because my step son works at the store, but this bed bath and beyond is great! Everything you could possibly think of you need or want for your home is here. My two favorite things about this company is that any coupon you receive is always good. And their return policy is amazing. If you buy a product that they carry and a few months later or year later or year and a half later it breaks they will replace it as long as they still sell that companies items in their stores. Another favorite part of that store is there is a section with a huge wall filled with all cool gadgety things for your kitchen. One of my favorites is a product called Plinks. They are lemon orange or lavender scented balls that you put into your garbage disposal and run for about 15 seconds and it gets rid of any yucky garbage disposal smells. I highly recommend a trip to the store. read more

This store has been located in the same spot for many years. It is on the Northeast corner of North Dale Mabry, if you are heading north, just past Fletcher Ave. Parking at this location is a nightmare, plain and, it's a fact of life. The store is packed with about anything you can imagine and them, more. It can have a cluttered feel to it, but if you take some time you will find many interesting and quality products. This store is located closest to where I live, so it tends to be where I shop. It is not the nicest Bed, Bath & Beyond in town, but they all appear to have the same inventory. I had to return a product once and it was quite painless and they were very gracious and helpful with the return. I also like their coupon policy and that you regularly receive $5.00 off coupons in the mail. It is exactly what the name implies and more. When you drop in for a visit, give yourself some extra time, as you will want to browse the items in the store. It does have many items that evoke " sticker shock" & I think that many other products I feel are overpriced. What's a girl to do? I love kitchen gadgets, so I have to keep checking in. read more

Went in to buy a replacement cartridge for my Sodastream. Found that as well as some soda refills. Whenever I've gone here in the past, for everything from spatulas to bed linen, I've found what I wanted. Made in America? Depends on the product. Colanders? Found one made here. I've been 50/50 trying to make it around the aisle displays without succumbing to something I didn't expect to buy, but what the heck. Checkout? Hectic. What I can't figure out is that there always seems to be twice as many people buying things at the registers then there are in the rest of the store. Where did they come from? Parking? My antennas are always up. It's a shared parking lot with a pet store, a fresh market, a number of small take out shops, a music store, etc. and there are only three exits, two onto Fletcher and one onto Dale Mabry. People flying along in their cars in the parking lot trying to be the next one out onto the roads. Be careful. read more

I seldom go to BBB since I frequent MacDill AFB BX but because I was in a hurry and needed to get a certain item for my kitchen I decided to go. I found what I was looking for and was ready on my way to check out. I asked the lady who was expressionless (I believe she was the Mngr) if they took expired coupons. She said paper? I said Yes. I handed her one of my many coupons. So...I was told from a friend that you could double the coupon sometimes so I asked her if I could give her another (you never know until you ask right?). The lady at the register said "One item per coupon". I said "Oh that's right! I don't know what I was thinking" and preceded on handing her just the one coupon. As I was handling my credit card transaction, the same lady at the register said "So if you have 8 items then you can use 8 coupons for each item" She said this all the while looking at the employee standing next to her. I just looked at her blankly because I was shocked that she was being condescending, and to me, looked as if she was traying to make me look stupid in front of others (there were customers everywhere and employees on either side of her). I don't care if I asked a stupid question lady, you need to be professional and just explain it. No need to go out of your way to make me feel any other way than happy that I shopped at your store!! I guess I now have to be on guard when I go checkout and get confrontational (I hate to but sometimes it's needed!) if she or anyone behaves that way towards me again. Please learn customer service skills and for the love of God, SMILE and wish your customer a nice day when they leave. YOU are there because of US remember that! read more

Love this location. The store seems a bit smaller than others, as items are exploding everywhere. They have a huge selection of products for the bed and bath, plus much more. Apparently coupons are sent thru the mail and a precious commodity. After hearing everyone talking about their coupons I asked Luis the manager if he could find one for me and he checked several registers and it saved me $20 off my order. Additionally I wanted an item not in the store and the lovely Rachel offered to place the order for me with free delivery and was able to use her coupon to save another 20. Luis runs a great store and I hope soon that Rachel will be a manager too! read more

The customer service at this location was terrible. Upon entering the store, my family and I were immediately ushered to the customer service desk. I simply wanted to purchase a fitbit Alta which seemed to be an inconvenience to their lives. While I waited for someone to bring the Fitbit over, the ladies at the service experience desk began to gossip about how having us there bothered them. My mother and I then asked if we were in the right place. We had assumed the Fitbits were kept there considering that's where we were directed when we first walked in. They responded with an attitude and said that there was a whole display of them towards the back of the store. The entire process of purchasing that Fitbit was met with angry employees and poor customer service. read more

Excellent customer service at this store. Everyone working here was attentive and eager to help. I had a hard time finding one item but as soon as I walked into the aisle there was someone there asking me if I needed help. Sure enough she knew exactly where the item was and EVEN showed me the differences between a few of the products. Needless to say I walked out with exactly what I needed. I love coming to this store because they seem to have everything I never knew I needed. And everyone is so helpful. Even the cashiers are friendly and knowledgable of their products.
