Cara took the time to walk us through options, helped us narrow down our choices, and made sure we left with the perfect tile at a great price. After our first purchase we realized we needed three more boxes. We went back, and Cara happened to be there again. She made the process quick, easy, and just as smooth as the first visit. The grout used on the displays is the best match, which made that an easy decision as well. The bathroom floor selections were very pretty but the one I loved at Lowe's went on sale. They have contractors for hire but if you or your PIC can lift heavy stuff and use a wet saw, you can save yourselves 8-10k. read more

The young lady that was trying to help us with tile was very incompetent. I had an estimate from Clearwater store and she was calculating way more tile then they calculated. I was not comfortable that she knew what she was doing. read more

I love this place. Looking at replacing the carpet in the house. Couldn't figure out if I wanted hardwood or tile. I love coming here and seeing all the different options. They have the absolute best prices by far from what I have seen. I came here when I switched out the carpet in my last house, and glad I can come back get the product I need from them again. I purchased wood flooring for my upstairs hallway from Floor & Decor a couple of years ago. Recently decided to install the same flooring in my upstairs bedrooms. Unfortunately the exact color and grain was discontinued. The staff were friendly and worked hard helping me find something that would match. It was delivered within two days and installed the next day. It looks great! I also purchased 2x4' Italian porcelain for my office (it was on clearance). Not only did I save a bundle, it looks FABULOUS! Prices are very competitive and there is a large selection at varying price points. read more

Great place for tile or to get inspired for a home renovation. They also have an up to date website, and you can order online then pick up. They are located in the largish mini mall on the southeast corner of Dale Mabry and Columbus. There is a huge amount of parking available. I was just looking for inspiration, so I was happy that no one bothered me while I was walking around, but I'd probably be a little peeved if I was planning on purchasing something that day. I believe you can make an appointment online before you show up, if you want to make sure someone is there to help you with your purchase. Prices seemed very competitive compared to other tile places or big box stores. There's good variety too. And the sales are really great. read more

Store manager Brian Brooks was not helpful when one of the employees hit my car in their parking lot. They have video footage of the employee hitting the car but will not share it with me. One other employee "max" the warehouse manager attempted to scare my son off with threats of violence. This store and the employees are not professional or ethical Beware of this store and the employees. The manager acted very Hyper and has evidence to show the employee Rachel damage my vehicle and run away. If it was not for the witness' she would have gotten away with it read more

Walked around the entire wall tile section for a good 15 minutes not one person asked me if I needed help. I finally find something I might be interested in. I had to go walk to the counter where two workers were just standing there. I asked her about a tile I had to point across the way because she couldn't leave the counter to help and I said I can't seem to find that one and she said yeah we're probably out or it's discontinued. Needless to say I left. The only reason it's a three is a African American worker in orange vest greeted me on my way out. He was very nice wish I had gotten his name so you could have him train your other associates. read more

Extremely disappointed in the customer service of the company. I remodeled my bathroom and the shower tile was purchased there. Within a week the tile had large cracks throughout. I contacted the company and immediately started the claims process, I sent all required paperwork and photos that were requested. After weeks of calling and emailing for an updated I finally received a phone call that my claim was being escalated. I again patiently waited and received no response. I continued to reach and after another month I received an email that someone would come inspect my shower,and to please call to set a time. Since then which was three weeks ago, I have called and emailed every week with no response. In total I have been dealing with this claim with no resolution for 5 months. read more

Terrible customer service at this store. I regularly shop at the Wesley Chapel location and am always impressed which makes me want to go back there. While at the Wesley Chapel location, I chose a tile for my backsplash work but they were out of stock but offered to order it for me at the Dale Mabry location so that I could pick up. It was later in the day and knowing that the store closes at 7, my wife called the Dale Mabry location saying that we could reach by 6:50 PM and to keep the order ready for pick up. We were told since it was a small order of 7 boxes, it would be ok as long as we reached before closing. After driving for around 45 mins, We reached at 6:50 PM for curbside pickup and waited, since the staff was actively loading a large order for another customer. We then noticed a board for mobile check-in and proceeded to do so at 6:55 PM. Once they serviced the other customer, one of the staff members walks up our car and tells us the store is closed!! Now I have friends who work in retail and I understand that last minute walk-ins are difficult which is why we called in advance so that our order could be kept ready for pick up. The staff member told us that the order was not picked and that they couldn't do it at 6:59 because it would be past their working hours and proceeded to shutter down. Although, I will be forced to make one more trip, I am pretty sure not to give any more of my business to this store. read more

This review is not about the store itself, but about a product they are selling. 6 year ago we bought tile called "Birch Forest Forest Gray I" for most of our house. Made in China, very well packaged, hardly any broken tiles. 4 years ago we bought more tile to finish another room in the house with the same flooring, now called "Birch Forest Gray III", same price. We expected some color variation which we were fine with. With a very long delay we just started working on the project. Big surprise when we opened the first package. The tile is now "Made in the USA", half the thickness and nearly half the tiles have little nicks on the rectified edge. Extremely disappointing. So the store is now selling an inferior product -albeit "Made in the USA" - for the same price (maybe at a higher profit?). Quality control for the the products sold in the store completely failed in this case. And it is sad to see that Made in China offers better quality than Made in the USA. read more

Today I went into floor and decor with an issue with my order, my previous experience with their customer service has not been good, however today that was all changed thanks to Jasmine she was amazing she listened to our problem and solved the issue quickly. I can't say enough good things about her customer service. If she hadn't been there today I probably would never go back. Thanks Jasmine in the dale mabry store for helping us today. To Floor and decor you need to hire more people like Jasmine and Jenny who put the customer first and are genuinely nice people to work with. Dang I hate to say he was Right but his was,, we followed his expert advice and now have exactly what we had in mind. Now mind you clueless for what we were looking for or what we needs but on a mission to spend money. We walked in and the place was huge! Great selection but still little much when you don't know where to start. That's when Sean stepped in! His customer service was the best we have had anywhere in a long time! Helped us out to the fullest of his abilities and was very knowledgeable! We ended up buying flooring and will come back for more when it is time. I have visited this location 3 times. The first time just after opening was fine. The next time I was stalked, not assisted but trailed by an associate who seemed to think I was going to steal samples. Never was help offered, just sneaking behind me like a creep. Today, I was completely ignored by the staff who were not helping any other customers. After wandering and waiting 15 minutes today to ask one question before making a substantial purchase I decided to take my business elsewhere. Never again. read more

I want to send a shout out to assistant manager Laura at the Dale Mabry store. She took a significant amount of time helping me find the perfect tile that would coordinate well with the primary tile I had picked for my shower. She also walked me through potential installation problems I may have run into if she hadn't brought them to my attention. Then, when it came time to load up my truck, there were no associates available to help. She said "come on" and proceeded to help me load 15 or so cases of tile and 10 bags of thin set into my truck, despite having her own duties to perform. She was really incredible! I absolutely love coming here. They have everything you need and so nicely organized. So many options,price points to choose from and knowledgeable staff makes my visits quick. I'm able to quickly pick out what I need for a remodel pretty quickly since everything is color coordinated and materials are all separated. I'm rating your employees a 5 star. Your store is also a 5; but for this review its based on what I witnessed today. Went there today and the guy in the picture attached was a complete tool. Every single one of your employees addressed this muppet with respect and courtesy and tried to explain multiple times to him that they closed off two rows for safety reasons. They were moving tiles for another customer. They told him that they would be done in 10 minutes max multiple times and he proceeded to berate them. EVERY single person tried to calm this guy down and eventually when we was done he bought two boxes of tiles. Please make sure that all of your employees did nothing wrong and were ALL great people.
