Worst of all, it is so uncomfortable to sit on the sleeper side of the sectional because of how it tilts backward. Customer Service is polite but the corporation does not care that you're $8000 couch is poorly designed. Also just have to warn that the "designer" on staff at this Citrus Park location gave poor recommendations for pet friendly material..even the Ethan Allen service gentleman who came to my house said this is not a material that should have been recommended for high use and/or for pets. It's just a been a pricey and extremely disappointing experience all the way around. My daughter bought $400 sleeper sofa from Ashley furniture around the same time I bought this one and hers looks new still and is extremely comfortable and holds it shape. Typically I'm a "you get what you pay for" type of person and I'll happily pay more for good quality. Ethan Allen has not fit that criteria for us.

This rating is more for one of the Tampa store managers, Susan B. than for the store or brand…read moreitself. We visited a local furniture store and tried a Tempurpedic bed. We liked it so much that I called the Tampa store, and Susan helped me order the split king cooling hybrid mattress and adjustable base, and during their Memorial Day sale, helped make sure we received all of the applicable discounts, and helped guide me through the process of having our sales taxes rebated back with an RX from my primary care physician. The rebate of the sales taxes alone was almost a $1,000, and the discounts from Tempurpedic saved us an additional $700+ versus the sale promotion from the local furniture store. Unfortunately, our delivery did not go smoothly, as the delivery people mistakenly thought that they were not installing and setting up the base and mattress. I called Susan and she quickly got involved and corrected that issue. The delivery guys seemed to want to get the delivery done asap, and instead of installing the legs on the base, they put the base on the support slats for our bed frame. That put the bed very low, and once again, I enlisted Susan's help to address the issue. After going back and forth with Tempurpedic's "customer service" department, and having them tell me they wanted to charge me $244 to come back out to install the legs on the base, Susan once again got involved to rectify that issue. Susan has shown again and again that her goal is to ensure her customers are happy and treated well, and has addressed every issue and concern we have had. I highly recommend Susan and her entire staff in the Tampa store if you want great customer service and treatment! We are also very happy with our new Tempurpedic bed and base!

We were met by JT who not only answered all of our questions but also gave us valuable insight on the different models of beds and bases. He was not pushy at all but instead insisted on us not making a decision right there. We grabbed a drink and talked about this big decision. After coming to a conclusion we went back and decided to purchase the hybrid king mattress and base. Since then my nights have been uninterrupted and woke up refreshed. I want to thank JT for being very knowledgeable and more importantly his friendly demeanor. We would not have been able to make this big decision without him.

After a while, we went to the store and the kit was still unavailable. The sales man suggested I call the manufacturer but not to tell them it was a mattress firm sale. Hhmmmmm!! I told him I was not going to make this my problem. He immediately offered to replace the bedframe with one that had a kit. I am a 76 year old man with poor vision. The salesman told me that the delivery guys would install the headboard because of the inconvenience the kit had caused. We made a tentative delivery date but changed it 10 days before the date for a medical appointment. Although we followed protocol, they showed up at the old time and were later told they could not change times, even with a 10 day notice. When they tried to deliver it later in the day, they were NOT given the kit, so the delivery was cancelled. It gets better! They showed up on Saturday with the new frame and FINALLY THE KIT. They were in a hurry and put the bed together but refused to bring in the headboard from the garage and install the Kit. After I told them I was legally blind, the driver called in and got permission to bring in the headboard but still refused to install the headboard, although I was promised the installation instead of cancelling the entire order. Now I have to find a person to install the kit, which is an extra expense and a major inconvenience. It appears that the people at Mattress Firm do not have any clue on how important communications are in a company. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing, nor do they care.
