I give our designer (Sena Hornet) 10 STARS for all her hard work, patience, and knowledge concerning our flooring project. She is without a doubt a gem to work with for we obtained all the materials required for our flooring project. Their prices are comparable to local flooring companies. I had zero issues picking up the materials (I needed 5 trips with my truck). Each time their staff at the loading dock were timely and friendly. Such a huge variety of choices from tile to hardwoods, laminates, vinyl, countertops and everything you would need to put in the items yourself. The staff here is super friendly and fully willing to help you find what you need or point you in the right direction should you choose. With so many options I highly recommend having an idea of your taste before getting lost in here because it is easy to get off track. My only criticism and the reason why I took away a star is because while the staff on the floor were super helpful and knowledgeable the woman who rang up up the samples clearly either was t paying attention or could care less. She rang up a $5 sample as $89 and if we didn't question this she wasn't paying attention to see something wasn't right. If you are buying bulk make sure you have some idea what your items should cost because I can see being overcharged by someone careless enough not to check the scanner setting. read more

We spend close to 15k at floor decor store a week ago, and had to return left overs. However it was not that easy how we thought. First cashier didn't even want to return the broken tiles which arrived with the delivery until I had to rise my voice. Second they could not take a return of vinyl floor of 4 boxes because they said the box is not in the same condition, even though floors were not even opened and not used not damaged . I told and showed Store Manager Alinson that QR Code is untouched and unaltered it can be easy scanned and store will be able to sell these boxes because the boxes dont come in perfect condition as long as floors are in perfect condition and unused and floor are unopened . The floors boxes came with Floor decor Delivery......however he still refused to take it back. After spending Clouse to 15k he could not honor return of 150to 200$. Very poor and disrespectful decision was made and bad management. Will shop some place else to spend our money for our big project!. read more

I visited the Floor and Decor in Lakeland, Florida for a design appointment with Emily Martel. It was like having an interior decorator with no charge. It is amazing that Floor and Decor offers this service! I brought Emily pictures of the bathroom that I am partially upgrading. I also brought samples of the wallpaper, cabinet colors and floor color. With the focus on the tile for the new bathtub/shower I am getting, she helped me pick out a perfect tile that would compliment all of the colors I already have in the bathroom. She also helped me pick out some mosaic tile for a splash of highlight in the middle of the tile wall. She took the lead but also asked my opinion. I love that she chose something in the direction that I wouldn't have thought to choose myself but ended up totally agreeing with her. She even got excited with me about the choices because she said it will all look SO good which heightened my excitement about the whole project! I left completely excited about the whole experience with Emily who I would highly recommend to help with a home upgrade. Also, what we chose is not only beautiful, but a great value. Don't use "Installation made easy" they take no accountability and insist all the take care is the labor and have nothing to do with materials. I had my entire house floor replaced - a $25k proyect. After completed some titles were uneven. After 3 months of back and forth IME admitted it wasn't the tiles. It was an installation issue. The contractor came back to fix..after starting the demolition of the installation found out they didn't have enough tiles to replace the ones...so I had to get a similar --- but not the same tile- so now I have a patch of different tiles in my brand new floors. When I contacted IME they just said the had nothing to do with that since they only take care of labor. So even when the contactor failed to confirm how much material they needed BEFORE breaking my brand new floor....IME didn't even want to acknowledge the contractor should have calculated materials first. I didn't even get a "I'm sorry for all the inconvenience " they are super rude and can care less ....STAY AWAY!! I picked them hoping it would give me peace of mind...but got the same result that I expected from any other- cheaper Handyman. read more

Tried returning six different unopened boxes of tile to the Brandon store today 11/14/21 .They were rude and stated we cannot return It's at their discretion even though none of the boxes had been open yes we purchased at a over 110 days but the policy states a store credit. I can positively say that Floor and Decor located in Brandon has been my best experience thus far. The highlight of my day and for my wife is getting help from Vanessa (designer). She is extremely patient, great to communicate with, and she takes fashion (interior design) seriously. You can tell she enjoys working with people and making sure the customer is satisfied. I went to Floor & Decor for a kitchen backsplash. They have an unbelievable amount of beautiful tile to pick from! The choices are overwhelming. My husband and I took Home several samples. We returned a second time to purchase what we decided on. The salesgirl Yadlin Pimentel was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She actually got down on the floor and pulled out the boxes of tile for us. (They happened to be on the very bottom shelf) Then she explained what types of grout & etc. we should use on glass tile and took us to that isle and explained everything! Beware this company uses devious and deceptive claims for interest free credit accounts. They claim no interest credit for the first year. That is until I've been paying every month and after 1 year I see a bill for all monthly interest charges for the past year. Amounting to a shocking $380.00 interest charge on my most recent bill. My new balance has been converted to a revolving credit account with 29.90% interest. Outrageous. You can do better by shopping for floor at a more reputable dealer. read more

Worst experience with costumer service ever, my husband who is in a wheelchair,went this morning to try to buy the tile for our house and left without purchasing anything because he was told that " unfortunately they don't have anyone who can take the tile from where it was . And if he wanted to buy anything he just has to pay for it and he will be called eventually to let him know to drive back and pick it up ,on top of that there will be not help translating or loading the tiles to the vehicle . Is this a joke ? What type of store is this ? You are selling tiles but you tell the clients serve yourselves , you pay and you deal with the rest, we are just a show room with lack of costumer service , and no empathy for a handicap costumer. Then why is more than 1 employee working there ? What is the purpose? It's so disappointing that a place where we bought everything to remodel our bathrooms that was 5 stars went down the hill. So please everyone, don't waste your time going to this store. If you are handicap, senior or even if you believe you can't move and lift all that weight by yourself, please don't go. I am a contractor and was told they do not have a delivery for me tomorrow and I asked to speak to a manager, the girl put me on hold then 15 minutes later picked the phone up and hung up on me I called back to speak to a manager the same girl picked up and said hold, 18minutes later still no answer. WTF? am I supposed to just hang out in a house and wait for a "possible delivery" between 7am and 4 pm? This is some of the worst customer service I have seen during the Covid crap! The entire experience with Floor and Decor Brandon Location has been HORRIBLE. I want a refund on my "delivery". Initiating a transaction and paying is never an issue. What happened is after they collected my payment, they were done with serving me. After paying for my products/materials I was advised that they use a third party to delivery materials and could not offer me an estimated time frame of delivery. I was told my shipment would be received Wednesday, January 19, 2022. I called the store twice at 6 p.m. that day trying to understand why I had not received a call or contact from anyone regarding my shipment after making arrangements with work and school to accommodate their unknown delivery time. I was put on hold for 15 minutes. When she returned on the line she advised that the person I needed to speak with was on another call which is why she left me on a 15 minutes hold and she was the only cashier on the floor. I called this morning January 20, 2022 and spoke with a gentleman that advised that my delivery was actually scheduled in their system by the customer service rep for today January 20, 2022. I then received a call from the third party advising that they would be there in 30 minutes. The third party brings two pallets (one of grout and one of tile) and leaves it on the sidewalk. The delivery driver asks me if Floor and Decor advised that they do not put the deliver inside of the home and it would be up to me to figure out how the materials would be brought up the stairs inside. Floor and Decor charged me $200.01 to drop my materials on the sidewalk and never advised that they could not deliver inside of my home. After 3 hours, I carried all of the materials delivered inside by myself. Reviewing my receipt and then contacting back, it was confirmed that 3 items on my list were never picked up and provided to the third party delivery company and now I am to wait two to three days for the remainder of my order to be received. I have now had to reschedule my installation due to all the miscommunications, mistakes, delay and chaos from Floor and Decor. If I was charged for Floor and Decor to throw my things on the sidewalk, I want a full refund in delivery fees. That is not what I signed up for and that is not what was explained to me. We are renovating our 2300 sq ft house. We had all of the flooring ripped out. Floor & Decor has an excellent selection and offers a design specialist to help. She asked questions about the look we wanted and was there to calculate costs on not only the tile but the grout and mortar. She had pictures on her phone to show us the tile we picked out installed. She verified the tile was in store and had it pulled immediately. She went with us to the check out and assisted on making sure all went well and the delivery was arranged. I purchased over $500 worth of slate tile floor for use in a bathroom remodel. As many of you know scheduling materials for the jobsite so the contractor can do his job in a timely manner is critical. The product that was installed should have never been used for a floor. The thickness was uneven and created multiple chances of injuring someone walking or TAKING a shower. The material cracked under foot when walked on and it was IMPOSSIBLE to grout! The shale fractured creating more sharp edges. It was a minefield of sharp edges and uneven tile depth. When I took samples to the store and explained how bad this product was I was met with complete hostility by the manager (not Mickey). I told him that it had to be removed and replaced. He told me there was nothing he could do, challenged my claims and refused to consider a discount on a new floor. The floor should have cost $600 installed. It had to be removed for a cost of $400.00 and a new floor purchased for an additional $600. Making the total for 50SF of floor a whopping $1500! I handed him the box of defective tiles and walked out. I will NEVER shop ther again!!!!! You have been warned. read more
