A set of vintage Ford miniature cars

This is an awesome antique store that houses many vendors. It's another place that I've been to multiple times with my mother when we first moved to the area. They truly have everything you could want in vintage wares but they also have Old Florida décor like painted shells and other types of décor. It depends on which booth you visit. All the vendors are super nice and help each other out. It's also very organized and clean. I felt very emotional walking through this store because so many items brought back wonderful memories. Browse slowly or you may miss something. Not all the items are reasonably priced at first glance, but you can always negotiate with the vendor. They are always bringing in new items. If antiques are not your thing, then just go to get decorating ideas. They have it set up so nicely. I even saw vintage light fixtures. Definitely look up when you're perusing the aisles. Are you into vintage jewelry? Well they have it here. They also have pieces from the Liberty Blue china collection that were made in England around 1975 for the bicentennial. It was cool looking at all the colonial scenes. I saw items from all different countries. You can basically get lost there in all that nostalgia. It truly is a hidden gem in the La Viva plaza on Lumsden. The locals know about this place since it has been in Brandon for at least 30 years. My brother used to visit it every time he was in town. But he mainly would go to the used book store (Book Corner) next door while we looked at the vintage items. Checkout their Facebook page around Christmas time. They have a Christmas Open House event every year. A nice way to get introduced to this unique store around the holidays. It's a must visit if you're a collector and happen to be in the Brandon area. I walked out with 4 different items, and I saw others that I may go back for later. It's going to be hard to pass up now that I've reacquainted myself with this store again.

Definitely a vintage shoppe you'll want to check out if in the area. Hours are 11 AM till 5 PM daily, except for Sunday (4 PM). Lots & lots to see! This is one of the few antique malls where vendors don't pay a percentage to the owner if they're on the schedule to work in the shoppe. The two women I met raved about the excellent local owner; the longevity of the shoppe; the long waiting list to have a booth here; & the "family" the vendors here share. This 32-yr-old vintage store houses 30 vendors. Each December it has a sale where everything is 10% off or higher, depending upon the vendor. Should you have antiques or vintage merchandise to sell, phone store management first to assure they are interested. The two lovely & very friendly dealers I spoke with during checkout (Madai & Debbie) are very happy here w/ the owner & the large repeat customer base. I saw few primitive pieces (if any), few vintage furniture pieces & lamps, and not a large stock of mid-century inventory, but there was a large quantity of costume jewelry, home decor items for walls and shelves, hanging light fixtures, dishware & other small kitchen items, and even vintage coins and rocks. Not a shoppe I'd come to for antique furniture or higher end antiques, but definitely one to check out if you love to browse through the nostalgia of yesteryear. It's a cute shoppe. It was clean, well lit, & organized. Many vendors were offering discounts (always ask even when it's not posted), and staff was friendly. Nothing not to like here. I left w/ three vintage brooches each 20% off. One 70's or early 80's costume brooch was stamped "Coventry," but it was only $2.50 before the discount. (If stamped, Coventry brooches are normally priced MUCH higher.) This really is an excellent mall for costume jewelry, especially rings. All the dealers of jewelry either had reasonable prices or much lower prices than you'd find at other shoppes. Definitely an interesting place to take a stoll down memory lane & converse with friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of parking in the large, shared lot, so COME ON BY!

Solid antique store that surprisingly feels bigger inside than it looks just from scoping out the storefront. It's kind of set up like an antique mall, so the store is divided into smaller "booths" for various vendors. I find this model works well so you get a diverse selection if items rather than just things picked from one person and their preferences. With any antique store, some prices seem a bit high, but overall I found that there were still some nice, inexpensive finds. The main focus of this shop would probably be little decorations and furniture, but you can still find some vintage cookware. I didn't see hardly any clothing and minimal jewelry and books (but if you want books, just walk next door to the bookstore connected to it!) Overall, glad I stopped in to shop while I was in the area; I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

What might you discover? Glassware, bakeware, & serving sets; toys & games; miscellaneous wall decor; furniture; lamps & lighting features; tools; clothing & shoes; costume jewelry; small appliances; vases; golf clubs; misc sporting goods; wood pens & cutting boards (both new); candles, homemade soaps, & rag dolls (all new), etc-- SEE ALL THE PICS Seriously LOW PRICES on everything, yet there were still many items discounted up to 50%. The female owner was very sweet & her Mexican hairless puppy was fascinating-- I couldn't resist snapping a picture:) Will we return when in the area again? Of course! My buddy was able to pick up a legitimate mid-century metal, butterfly wall sculpture for almost nothing. Although he's going to keep it for his home, now that it's been cleaned up & he's added three glass vintage votive candleholders, he could easily sell it & make a large profit on it. This vintage shoppe sits beside The Florida Farmhouse Market. DEFINITELY STOP IN should you enjoy anything vintage, along w/ savings! And do converse w/ the lovely owner. She was so gracious & appreciative of having her business added to Yelp.

The female owner we spoke w/ was VERY friendly & also willing to give discounts on purchases. Accompanying her in the shoppe was her gorgeous & friendly House Dog. Her husband was perched on a bench out front near the entrance. You'll also find Fiestaware; home decor; primitive furniture (aka pre-industrial); window panes; glassware; & pretty much anything a regular antique store & salvage shop holds. Due to the nature of picking, merchandise here will vary quite rapidly. We definitely want to return due to the possibilities of what we might find upon each visit (& due to the excellent pricing). Check out this vintage shoppe; it's WORTH YOUR TIME!

I did a couple sound test with one of my new gear was looking for something in particular for my short form film projects. After playing around i found something i recognized from one of my many previous jobs! A train cabin key! Bro these are pricey in online antique forms. I got it for $3.25. I already came up with ways to use it. Both film and i been researching clockwork builds. I love that art form so much. Its heavy on the math and physics. Cant wait to start! I saw something new they had on display. They had a couple of black lights show casing "Sugar glass" the antique glass reacts to the black lights and shine very brightly. If u like unique collections n decor? This would be a great way to collect old glass ware and just display for parties. Or for streamers with cyber punk notes. Kid you not the glass almost looks like a digital vector. Although i played with alot if things? I was happy with the key. I saw something that we both wanted but we dont have room for it. On our way out of the other store someone else bought it. It is the name of the game. The gentleman looked very happy. It was a one of those old school record players built into a table. It would had been nice to have space for it, we already have a family heirloom like that. Mom brought hers from Germany. love buying records for it n let it soar. No power just clockwork.
