Place smells like an old warehouse, it always been like this. My problem started on the way out. They got rid of their from work force and replace it with self check out. I don't even know why? Im more weirded out they even have an inventory when most their stuff is donated. So im not an asshole with stuff missing tags. I actually rather take the high road and make sure they see im not cheating the system. I told the only person in a register about it. She spoke over me and directed someone else to her. When she understood what she did she called someone. Another person showed up and they wouldn't help me. After 30 mins someone comes and takes the pants n doesn't come back for another 15mins. To do what exactly? There's no way he gonna find inventory like it. They are donated clothes. Hence my argument about why even have inventory? Comes back to tell me just scan another pair of pants. BRO i told them this same shit at the start and they wasted 45 mins of my god damn time. Moral of the story? Don't waste your time they don't understand basic costumer service. Just scan another item in your basket and move on. Nobody is really giving a damn about quality control anyways. Why should you? By all means scan the same item 3 times and enjoy your $7 bucks of whatever. This place was way better with human cash register that knew what they were doing. Provably not coming back unless my family wants to but me on my own time? No way. I got better places to go.

I'm so glad the denizens of Yelp had already reviewed this particular locale, because I knew I was in for a treat. I only spent a few bucks but I walked out with a fun assortment of treasures! I got some vintage domino pieces I plan to turn into jewelry as well as some old toy pieces, etc. There is such a random assortment of odds and ends, from pure vintage items to glorified junk--you have to be willing to commit to the search, which is half the fun. Frequent this store pretty often. Prices can be fair on some things but too high on others. Deals can be had on the "color or the week", all furniture 50% off each Saturday and many federal holidays having EVERYTHING 50% off. This store is pretty well staffed and includes employees making sure merchandise doesn't get sloppy. The dressing rooms can get a little ugly looking during the day because they generally only clean them out at the end of the day. One frustration is dressing rooms that close 30 minutes before the store does. They don't give you much of a warning and I've often missed the announcement so you're out of luck because you can't return something that doesn't fit. Another frustration is their hours for holidays often aren't posted on their social media sites. I drove all the way there on Memorial Day to partake in their 50% off sale only to discover they closed at 4p. I had checked their website before going and there was absolutely nothing posted about the sale or change in hours. How hard would that for someone in corporate to inform customers of changes?

There is just so much to go through. Which I personally love being an avid thrift goer. At this location I found so many books! I think I bought around 15(?) books. I will say, I wish their books were slightly cheaper like other thrift stores. Usually other stores charge $1 for paperback and $2 for hard cover. This one is charging from a range of $3-$6 per book but most that I got were $3-$4. Still, I'd rather pay this than full price for books. And they were all in great condition as well. This thrift store only accepts cash!!!!! So keep that in mind. Though, I do believe there's an atm. No fitting rooms, so wear something you're able to try on clothes on top of! I usually wear workout clothes and all black or neutral so I can try on clothes on-top and envision what the piece will look like on its own. Shoes?! Oh my...there's sooo many shoes. There's definitely something for anyone and everyone at this thrift store!! We are…read moremixing brand new large furniture with thrifted, vintage and DIY decor to give our home that "homely" touch. Javellas Treasures is one of the best thrift stores I have been to. It is much smaller than its larger competitors, but I actually think that works to its advantage. Many of the larger thrift stores have become so commercialized, selling many items in bulk/wholesale... like a dollar store, so unique pieces are hard to fine. Javellas carries many unique, well kept pieces. We were fortunate to find two brand new canvas paintings at exceptionally good prices. We will be back sporadically to find more pieces.
