To my surprise it has been open for five years and has been doing very well. My first impression as I walked in was...I can't afford anything in here...and I better not bump into anything. That's NOT so! Sure, you have some pieces that are expensive, but she also sells things that even I can afford. The prices range anywhere from a dollar...yes a dollar...up to a thousand. So there's a lot of leeway in how much to spend or what you can afford. Everything in this store is unique. If you want to find something to buy as a wedding gift, birthday gift, or for any occasion, be assured that no one else will be bringing the same gift as yours and your gift will stand out among the rest. There is also a good selection of home decor and accessories that even I would display in my house. There was so much to look at without having that overwhelming feeling that I sometimes get when I walk into a store. Of course, she carries one of my biggest downfalls...jewelry. Each piece is uniquely hand made by local jewelers. I actually bought a really nice necklace made out of silk and recycled glass. And guess what? I won't be seeing it on anyone else:-) Not only are there things for the home, but also for your pets! I could go on and on about this shop. You should definitley check this place out. The owner herself is so nice and willing to help you with whatever you are looking for in your price range. I highly suggest you check it out. Came here cute my nephew's birthday. They rented the facility to hold a workshop to decorate a…read morewooden box. They put monogrammed letters on the box, sanded, primed and painted. The staff were attentive and friendly, walking around to each table to check on each person and guide them along the process. The work areas were large and it was nice sound with others to guide and help each other also. There really wasn't an overall explanation on how to do the monogram on the box so we struggled with this until a staff member came by and guided us on the process but by then all but 1 monogram was on a box. Wish there would have been just a bit more overall instructions on this is how we put on and take off the monogram. Overall the experience was lovely and I think everyone really enjoyed it. They had ewctangular tables lined up through the shop that accommodated like 8 people a piece. They walked everyone through the process at the same time and took the time to check on everyone during the process. They allowed us to bring in food and drinks for the party so their was a mixture of home made and store bought stuff. As far as I could tell, the kids all enjoyed it and so did the parents who also participated. It was definitely a neat experience and something thatwould be fun for younger families and maybe even a corporate outing or something similar. They are also a Premier Dixie Belle Paint Retailer which basically means that you'll be able to find any color or to order a paint color through them. If you're into DIY projects, then this is your place to shop or get ideas. They also sell local artisan crafts and gifts. It's filled with all kinds of beautiful eclectic pieces. It's perfect if you want to find that one piece of furniture that will make your room pop. I've only been there twice, and each time it was a great experience. The first time I visited was around Christmas time. The tree and wreaths were decorated so nicely. They had Rae Dunn pottery which I didn't see this time. I'm sure they are all sold out. I'm not a collector but I did love the doggie bowls and I had to get them. This last visit, I found an English blue & white Crown Ducal plate with scenes from Colonial times. I do have a lot of blue & white, and I probably didn't need this plate but it was calling my name. They had other things that caught my eye as well. Lots of beautiful items that they have restored. They hand paint furniture as a service. If this is of interest then you may want to visit their Facebook page which has pictures of restored furnishings.
