Since moving on this side of town, this ross location has been very convenient.The lines aren't so long even during the holiday seasons.But then again I love to visit as soon as the store opens.So I can be in and out. I found a lot of household products, especially because i'm a sucker for pots and pans. Was here earlier, it was too crazy for my taste. Not their fault. Everybody and their mother was there today. They have phenomenal specials for the holiday. I am not a fan of over crowding to the point i cannot breathe. I walk outa there while my fam shopped. I was having a painful crash with my leg. There are no benches anywhere other than the shoe area. Kinda hard and awkward to sit there with people trying to see or try shoes. No benches outside either. I went during the 47cent sale so my experience is based off that. It was crazy and hectic inside with so many people. Checkout lines were astronomically long. Everything was messy, unorganized, and all over the place. The lighting was super dim and low so it was hard to get a good look at things. Just based off this experience, I'd rather go to a Marshall's or Tj maxx, but I might have to go during a normal period to get the real experience. read more

I really want to give Ross 4 stars for value, however, the experience is a 2 so we will settle on 3 stars overall. I come here about 4 or 5 times a year to look for Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren Dresses. I refuse to pay $100 dollars or more a dress, but I love the way these dresses fit and the quality. I leave empty handed 1/2 the time, the other times i find treasures. We were in Macys once and the twins sayd "Hey mom you have that dress, did you really pay $138 dollars for it?" I spent $49.99. The store is a visual nightmare, its hot, the dressing rooms are very odorous and you get bumped into more than I like, however I love the deals. Today I purchased some sun dresses and a work dress that I really like. The Calvin Kleins I found were not what I was looking for . My advice, be patient and look in sizes you dont wear for misplaced deals. read more

This was my first time at this Ross. In general, Ross has a wide selection of items at a low price. This was the messiest Ross that I have ever been to. There was absolutely no organization, which made looking for items in a certain size almost impossible. Even in the children's area, where there are plush toys and size doesn't matter, it was a wreck. The plush animals were dirty from having been on the floor. Staff was beyond rude tried to get a hold of the hiring manager for 3 weeks when I finally did she said oh what's your name &' for what position I gave her an answer for overnight . This Ross establishment was complete and utter trash. As soon as I came in my senses were tingly... something was off. I usually shop in order so that I never miss anything worth noticing. But, sadly I missed a lot because all the rows were intensely disorganized. Clothes were mixed up with the bathroom section and makeup mixed up with shoes. This Ross looked like a teenagers room after a whole week has passed. Once I finished my shopping, I went to check out. I was flabbergasted to hear the cashier say, "Can you take the hangers off and hang them behind you?". WHAT!?!? No one shops and works at the same time. After I told her that I wasn't going to be doing her job she muffled roughly under her voice and stormed off with the hangers. She came back, never looked me in the face and finished checking me out. It's really hard to review Ross and expect something that just blows your mind away. It's Ross...they have something for everyone. This store in particular has a lot of stuff. I am talking two-tier racks of men clothing, a wall of shoes PLUS more shelves for shoes. Everything is unorganized but it's really hard to expect the staff to clean all that stuff every single time they get a chance. This store is just too busy. I feel they would benefit from lessening their inventory so you could actually browse through their clothes/shoes. I am sure this store just continues to get messy as the day goes by. This in turn makes it difficult for you to really through what they have. My advise would be to get here as early as possible for a cleaner store. By the end of the day you'll get discouraged trying to rummage through the mess. All in all, it's still Ross. You are going to find a good deal, as long as you actually do find what you are looking for. read more

There is NO social distancing at check out. Registers 6, 8 & 9 were open causing three random customers to nearly brush up against one another to squeeze past to get to their check out counter. Registered 4 & 5 were CLOSED which would have 100% allowed social distancing. Why even bother putting arrows on the isles when there is more room there for two way traffic than there is at check out. read more

The trash cans outside were even overflowing and garbage was all over sidewalks. Broken glass all over in kitchen supply isle that I pushed into a pile before getting the picture, empty carts everywhere, products all over floor in isles. I like shopping at Ross because I'm cheap, and I'm not ashamed. It pays to be frugal. There are some good quality clothing for great prices (sometimes). Searching through can be a labor intensive chore, but once in a while, it pays off. Other than clothing & shoes, there are accessories, toys, kitchenware, housewares, and more. If you've never been, it's worth checking out, just don't have high expectations. This is a bargain shopper store. read more

I have spent lots of time perusing Ross stores wherever I am in the country. This store on first impression was well stocked and well organized. I found it easy to sift through the racks without any problem and many times if I saw something I liked it was actually in the correct size section. I hate when I find something I really like and pull it off the rack to find out it is not a medium but rather a small petite! Cannot cram myself into that no matter how hard I try. The employees were accessible which makes it nice if you have questions versus searching all over and never finding anyone. The times I have been in there was adequate staff to check you out so the lines moved quickly. I always find too many good bargains at Ross that I need more storage space at home and more days to be able to wear everything I have. This store is definitely better than most I have shopped at. read more

I have to say!! Out of all the stores Ross was my favorite. I say it Was because do to this covid-19 Ross has forgotten about the service. How is it possible that they have all the bathroom closed???? Not even if your pregnant they make exceptions to let you use it. Very disappointed and I will not go there again.. This is the perfect store for bargain shoppers if you really know what you're doing and where to look. It is one of the older stores in comparison to the one that opened up in Valrico a while back. This store has a wide variety of items; so much that the staff seems to have a bit of trouble keeping them in order. I mostly shop at the Valrico location as it is cleaner and more spacious. However if you are looking for something in particular, you're better off at this location, though you'll have to work hard to find it. read more

I have to give this Ross three stars but I'm being a little nice because it really should be two stars. If they did not have a nice selection of clothing and other miscellaneous products like home decor and hair tools, I would give them two stars. I went a few months ago to bye a shirt or pair of pants to add to my wardrobe and found something (I think it was a plaid shirt that day). But anyway, I had to wait in the line for a little bit which is typical at this Ross because there aren't that many cashiers working at once and people have carts full of stuff. I am a patient person so I waited in line and when I finally got up to the register, the girl was doing something at her register. I stood there awkwardly for a good five minutes overhearing her conversation with the other cashiers. It really annoyed me that all of the cashiers were standing around talking and pretending like I wasn't there. If you want to have a conversation like that with your friends, wait until your break. That absolutely irks me when employees stand around talking, especially in front of the customer who is supposed to come first. It's just a lack of maturity and professionalism. I still shop at this Ross occasionally but they should really reprimand their employees and make them realize they're not getting paid to stand around and talk. read more
