Im at awe how high the prices have gotten! You would find ok to decent prices before. Oh they got the 50% off but on crazy tags of 200$ is crazy i can go online and find the exact same item in the Items brand store for 60-75% less. Whoever is running marketing must be hangry. Somebody get them a good cappuccino. We die find the "out of fads" stuff upstairs in the actual old prices. They pretty much move the real affordable stuff upstairs. This is a terrible strategy. You gotta run the store like a "Happy Plug" put the affordable stuff ip front and hide the "big guns" behind. Joke aside, i find it infuriating that every time i visit the Kitchen section its like they don't want to make money. Found the two things i been looking for but just wanted to see how much? No tags on the items no tags on the shelf and no QR or Sku reader in the location. It's insane to expect people to carry an 40-80lb equipment to scan it on the machine in the bedroom section n walk back. Naw i have a rule i practice as a law. If i have to do all the work to figure out the price? They ain't getting my money. Found some Cuban Guallaveras for a ridiculous price tag, worst insult? Made in china also. Like why even sell em at that tag price? Im aware alot of stuff are made in china, but its a bad call to tag em over 25$. That cost macys 1-5$ per shirt. I still gave em a four, the store clerks are friendly and kind, most quality is good the minus star is cuz the prices went way too up. Dillards in the other corner of the mall has better price range n specials. I usually buy my fancy shoes and purses. read more

Been a long time Macy's shopper. They never disappoint! Always has great sales, wide selection of brands and inventory.

I bought two lovely dresses within the last 2 years for attendance at very dressy weddings. Great selection and service was fine, they don't fawn all over you, but you can find them if needed. Harder these days to find stores with dressy dresses and I was grateful for Macy's at Brandon! I found the value for the quality to be excellent on a Jessica Howard and a Hilfiger dress. read more

As a Macy's guy, this is the WORST Macy's i have ever been to, every single time i come here. This is the last time. Worst kept store, very limited in selections. The service is awful. Too almost 30 minutes to get through 1 customer. Only one register open for bottom floor. Didnt see one open upstairs. Returning a shirt, they refused to return it to the credit card I paid for it with, and refused to call a manager. I eventually found a manage and got it taken care of, but for someone who has grown up with certain expectations of Macy's, this store doesn't meet any of them. read more

This is the closest Macy's I can go to by my home. I have to compare it to other Macy's I've worked at and shopped at. It's definitely lacking in the shoe department for women and men! Women love shoes, more shoes please! They do not have a Jessica Simpson selection or really young and fresh heels! There is a huge bag section but I hardly ever see women walking through the bags and wallets. The men's department need more hip and young designers offered and so do the women. Most of the items just seem picked out by a more mature generation. There should be an Origins section and a Mac section if there isn't one. I don't recall seeing a Mac makeup counter. This location has 2 floors but I hardly ever go up there because the baby section is so limited! read more

It's no wonder stores are losing business to online sales. This store, which I drove an hour to get to had almost NOTHING shown online. It might be okay for locals to browse without results.....I found multiple things in kitchen goods online I wanted to purchase and felt buying them in store would allow me to decide on color, size, weight, etc. They had NONE of the many Dutch ovens on sale, NO lasagna pans with handles and multiple items with no prices. Multiple racks were empty or had a token box. A clerk ventured by and asked to help, had no clue about kitchen products, marched me 2 departments over to check what I was looking for online and then got distracted with another customer. I was so disenfranchised, I didn't bother to shop any other departments and just left. That was probably a good thing. The store itself is HUGE and beautiful. But no merchandise, no purchases. read more

I am drawn to Macy's because of the large selection of petite clothing, and the sales. I admittedly do not enjoy shopping for clothing, particularly at large department stores because it can be so overwhelming. I simply do not find scooting hangers on a rack searching for something in the right color or size enjoyable in any way. It is not a good use of time. It is not an effective way to shop. What I love about Macy's is the online order and pick up in store feature. It's easy for me to perform a focused search for what I want online, order and pay, and pick up at the store. I receive an email informing me when the order is ready. In store pick up is first floor women's department. My items are folded neatly in the bag, and I disappear. Easy--that's how I like it. read more

The ladies that work here especially they went out of there way to help me and my mother find clothes to fit me since its very hard to find a guy that stands 6'7 and 215lbs medium build lucky enough we found clothing that fit. Yay finally! The lady who helped us the most and didn't mind helping her name was Margarita she helped us more than anyone else did. She took helping a customer or customers level to a whole new level she went out of her way I wish other employees would have done that but they didn't. I guess texting to who ever was more important than helping a customer find clothing such as Polo Ralph Lauren and Taso Alba Caribbean Clothing. Margarita, is a very nice lady with great customer service relation to the customers who come shop at this Macy's location. She was polite, honest and honored to help us in anyway she could. Now for the bad...I was looking for the men's dressing room instead of showing me where the dressing room was located the guy who was in men's department pointed in a direction and I replied can you show me instead of pointing he pointed in that direction again. So I gave up and went to find the men's dressing rooms myself and lucky enough I found them in the men's suits area. I guess pointing is the new way people are trained to tell people where something is. read more

This Macy's is fine. That said: The Plus-Size Situation! Relegated to the upper floor in a back corner you have to wander to find, this store offers clothes that are targeted to my mother's demographic. I've been to Macy's stores with excellent selection (Hello, almost the entire top floor of Macy's in Lynnwood, WA [Which I can't just swing by anymore because Florida is 310754 miles away]), and the plus-size ads they send me feature incredible styles - but this one feels like it's full of castoffs you would find in that single aisle at Marshall's, or something from the C.J. Banks collection. "Hello cute blou- oh. Sequined butterflies on the sleeves." "Ooh, nice jea- oh. Embroidery around the ankles" Yikes. But I'll be real, I've seen worse. So this review doesn't get a zero. I'll note that if you are wanting a good option at this mall and don't want to subject yourself to the skeleton-decorated rayon at Torrid or, like me, find the boat necks and stomach-slicing pant waists at Lane Bryant induce an uncomfortable level of nausea, head to Dillard's. I have been coming to this department store for many years. I spend a lot of money at Macy's. In all the years I have shopped there I have never been greeted or helped by anyone as nice as a lady named Yong. She works in the in bra and panties department. She is so knowledgeable and helpful with the products she's selling. She's always happy and ready to answer any questions. When I go to Macy's I make a special trip upstairs to see if she's working just to say hello. I saw her yesterday and she smiled so big and gave me a hug. What a beautiful person she is and she made my day! She works at the Brandon Town Macy's. I hope she will see this comment and be as happy as she makes others. read more

I called and ordered some products from Cass in the Estee Lauder Department. She did an Outstanding Job!! She was so kind and made sure that I received everything I ordered in a timely fashion. She also told me if I need anything at all she would help me in anyway she could. I could call her anytime. If for any reason if I called, and she wasn't in to leave a message, and she would get back with me Right Away. I did that and she called me Right Away!!! She is doing an Excellent Job! She did a lovely job wrapping all the gifts for me. I truly appreciate all of her hard work. I had to return something and Emily helped me today. She was very sweet and very efficient. I've shopped online & in store & both have been excellent experiences! ~Various name brands, variety of merchandise from household items to clothes, makeup, shoes, jewelry & much more! Kinda like a one stop shop! :) ~Brandon location is my Fav! Staff is always friendly & willing to help w/ whatever u need! They really know how to hire exceptional staff at this location!!! I've had wonderful experiences no matter the department I shop in, they truly make u feel like family & like they are ur personal shopping assistant!! ~Store is clean & always kept organized! & if they don't have an item in house they even offer to ship directly to ur home at no additional charge, which I've done as well!!! Bathroom is also kept pretty clean for a bathroom. ~They usually have some amazing sale going on making shopping even more of a pleasure!!! If u have a Macy's WOW pass, savings can b even bigger! & having one always makes me feel special & helps me save $$$ which I absolutely love!!! Unreal! Horrible customer service. I will no longer shop or support Macy's. I went to buy luggage today. I took up two pieces to register to find the price advertised on the rack was not valid "Yet". I was told that I could pay that price today but I would have to come back at the end of the month to pick up the bags. I'm flying in two days and can't wait to pick up the bags. I asked to speak with a a manager and the sales associate told me that the manager will just say the same thing. I cannot believe the signs are identical with one exception. The luggage on the left said sale and the luggage on the right said reserve. What is this, a layaway approach? I can pay the lower price today and my card will be charged the lower price but I can't physically walk out of the store with the merchandise today I have to come back in two weeks. This is a joke. I left to go to Dillard's. They had similar luggage just not the color I wanted and it was even less expensive than Macy's "reserve" price. I went back to Macy's and asked to speak with the manager. Same old song and dance. Poor customer service. She offered I pay the full price (which by the way was double since the "reserve" price was 50% off) and I could pay over 700 for two pieces of luggage today, go on my trip, and come back in two weeks and get a portion of my money back. This is absurd! What kind of bait and switch crap is Macy's trying to pull. I'm posting this story everywhere I can online as this is the absolute worst experience I've ever had at Macy's. I love the sales, I shop online and in the store. I love going to the make up counters and comparing everything before I buy. What I don't love is when I spend $80 on a single item out of a total of $600 at the Dior counter. I get home and the pump does not work. I text the woman who sold it to me and she say to bring it in and exchange it. Hubby and I go in and the young lady at the Dior counter tells me no one but the person who sold it can make an exchange??!!! She said how can she know I purchased it there and they have people returning fakes. I said easy the woman has my whole purchase history on a card in that drawer. Well apparently they have their own drawers??? I refuse to make two trips to get a replacement on a defective bottle, so I ask for a manager who is smart enough to replace my item before I write a review. I am going to verify each make-up brand at Macy's return policy before I spend another dollar. They should have been quick to replace an item and not asked me to schedule a return when specific staff are there. read more

Had a me pair of dress shoes wore once, the stitching separated after one wear. Women at counter said I had to weight for a manager. 15 minutes later still waiting. I was at the Macy's store on 2/17/17 to return a suitcase I had purchased there a few weeks prior. The luggage was Samsonite brand and the logo on the front fell off after the first two times using it. The sales associate at the Macy's refused to take back or exchange my suitcase. I travel a lot and when I have issues with luggage purchased here Macy's was always willing to help in whatever way best. This time the associate was rude, nasty, and made a point not allow me to talk to the manager before she had already told her version of the story. Together they insisted that they could do nothing to help me so I asked for the corporate number, as I was receiving the number from the local manager the previous sales associate called to warn the corporate office of my impending call. In all my years of shopping with Macy's and being a proud Macys' cardholder as well I have never experienced such treatment. I will not be shopping with Macy's for a while and will be telling my family to do the same! read more
