My resent visit at the target wasn't so pleasant. I was trying to get some grocery shopping done, but a lot of their fruits and veggies seem so out of date. I felt like I was searching forever for strawberries and Romain lettuce that didn't have brown or molding. The rest of my shopping was fine. The store is definitely going through some changes switching out of the winter seasons. The store is mostly organized It's definitely one of my favorite stores to shop at, but I wish they would take care of their produce section a little more. read more

Drive up orders are super fast and easy and every retailer should follow Target's code of business because they are really that efficient. I love going here because it's always clean and staff are pleasant. We always get what we need and their brand is amazing, sometimes better than the name brand! I love Target and love going to this one! They have so much styles and varieties of things that you'll have a hard time choosing. Value is typical amongst the other retailers but still good. Been ordering online for pickup lately because so much temptation in a store that has literally everything. The service is great and my purchases are always brought out quickly and it's awesome because they have a designated covered parking area on the side so finding a spot is super easy. I am sure it will be crazy now that the holiday season is starting. It's a great value to order online because if something turns out to be out of stock, they will just ship it for free now matter how small the item. So that is much appreciated. I also like the discounts for being a circle member and using ibotta or rakuten to get that extra cash back! The only good that came out of the awful plandemic was curbside pickup for everything. Makes me value these stores more because they want to work with us to make it doable. read more

I usually come here and I noticed that recently it hasn't been as good as it used to. The place seems that need more staff because things are nor organized. I believe this is a super target because you can get groceries as well as hot food and Starbucks. It has everything you need and is always clean. Only downsides are parking (lots is shared with other places and gets packed quick), AC (is always blasting and so cold in the store, and the second section for self checkout is usually closed which causes a long line for the other self checkout section. Overall, it's definitely the best target in the area and the one I go to all the time. read more

My wife and I were in Florida for a week on the Gulf on Anna Maria Island. We love making our Target trip to stock up for a week. We bought tons of soda and some beer and salsa to mix with Greek plain yogurt (Try it, it is wonderful) Good selection and the staff was great. The only thing that would be better, id if they had fresh fish. The parking lot was a good size and we also got some goggles for swimming. There was a hurricane looming, so we did get extra eggs and jalapenos. Thise market pantry jalepenos are hot, A great store overall. read more

It's always a pleasure shopping at this Target location in Riverview. I've been here off and on since moving to the Brandon/Valrico area. It's not too terribly far from where I live, but the traffic on Bloomingdale keeps me from going there all the time. I also love that it has a Starbucks. I've grabbed coffee to-go many times after shopping. It's just convenient and saves me from making another stop. I like this Target better than the newer Wal-Mart in Valrico. It's so much brighter and cleaner. It doesn't seem as chaotic in the check out lanes. My most recent visit was to check out the cereal. I had heard about the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Cheerios which I haven't seen at our neighborhood Publix. I was so happy to see the family size box on sale. I also found some Peanut Butter Corn Chex. The peanut butter is fantastic! I hope they keep that one around. They also had Skinny Pop microwave popcorn. I'd rather have fresh popped popcorn any day rather than sold already popped in the bag. Maybe they have this at other grocery stores, but I haven't seen it before until now. I might just be living under a rock. I'll be shopping there more frequently. Especially for those hard to find limited items that you don't see everywhere else. read more

This is one of the biggest targets I've been to... While not 2 stories, it has a huge grocery section, Bakery, Deli, & much more! The man at the deli was very sweet and seemed genuinely happy to work there (which you don't see most days). The store is clean and neatly stocked and the staff seems to get along well (at least the ones working that day)! read more

I'm not sure what defines a Target as a "Super Target," but I'm pretty sure it's having an entire grocery store with a deli/bakery. At least, that's what I look for when I search for a "Super Target." This one may be mislabeled if that's the case, because they indeed have a full grocery department! It's a very nice location, the store is very clean and organized. The employees were incredibly helpful- actually, as soon as I walked in the door, one of the front end employees over heard me talking to my dad and asked me if I needed help finding anything, which was super sweet. Come on turgbort, those rolls don't fit in the holders so I either can only tear one square at a time (AND LET ME TELL YOU THAT IS NOT ENOUGH FOR MY MANLY MORNING SERVICE IFYOUKNOWWHATIMEAN) or I have to just have the roll sitting on the back of the commode and need to awkwardly bend to get it, then do that thing where you wrap toilet paper around your hand then wipe like that. Definitely one of my favorite Targets in the area. Staff is always very helpful, the store is always clean and it helps that the store is constantly updated and rebranded. There's a great selection of clothing, bathing suits and shoes. The only downfall AT THE MOMENT is the construction in the parking lot but again, the expansion/ change is never a bad thing read more

I can't speak fully on this store as I only visited the CVS pharmacy inside, however; I had quite a pleasant and efficient experience. Target stores are usually overwhelmingly big, and so was this one but it was easy to figure out where the pharmacy was. When I arrived, there was no line and it was a smooth process picking up my medication. In addition, the staff was helpful and pleasant to deal with. Definitely will be using this pharmacy in the future. read more

Just was here browsing! This Target was surprisingly clean and everything was accessible and the bathrooms almost spotless! Very impressed here! Staff seemed friendly enough although I wasn't greeted or asked if I needed any help at all. The store was going under some changes so things were a little out of place in the food section but that's expected when you are changing departments! All in all a five star for me! read more

This was my neighborhood Target of the early 2000s. I shopped here all the time when I was little and now in 2020 during COVID I went for a little visit and it looks a little different and not too crowded. Bottom line Target is awesome! read more

One thing I really like about the Target chain, somehow they manage to have really quiet stores. There are bargains to be had here, but unlike Walmart, you need to dig a little and compare. Target doesn't always broadcast their loss-leaders like competitors, so you need to read the labels and even look up on your phone to be sure. The electronics department is pretty extensive, but you might get a better TV deal at a shopping club or other competing super store. The housewares are an area you can find some major bargains. Plates, linens, and kitchen accessories are reasonably priced. Go to a super and you'll have a full market to purchase from. Find the meats to be limited compared to Sams & Costco, and even Walmart has a larger selection. The meat seems overly dyed to keep it looking red and fresh - a turn off for me. read more

I love Target and here's why--!! Where else can you buy Pokeman Go merchandise? I walked in & found a wealth of Pokemon stuff to buy! I mean, the level at which Target sells this merchandise is astronomical! They sell a lot of gaming items, along with snappy Pokemon clothing! I also buy all my paper products at Target, like napkins, paper plates & bowls, and the like. I also like to pick up toiletries such as body wash, poofs, deodorant, and such. Their pricing is reasonable, the store is clean & retail workers are helpful & friendly. So apparently, someone is not a Pokemon fan & wants to pick on poor Pokemon, but lots of people are having scads of fun with this game! It's a riot & a big fad right now! So I spotted a Pokeman Ball, right outside my local Target while doing my regular paper goods shopping. Naturally, I took a picture of the awesome Pokemon ball! My pic was flagged & reported, and Yelp removed it, citing "it doesn't appear to have been taken at the business". LOLZ It makes me laugh. So I found the same Pokemon ball on Target's website and included it in my review to make it more relevant. Using the image (or images) is protected under the "fair use" exception, as my review is being written about Target, as well as about Target's bollards. My review qualifies as "fair use" as explained in its' usage, because it is being used for "nonprofit educational purposes" (Copyright Act of 1976.) "Facts and ideas are not protected by copyright." Also, the "photos have already been published, and are, therefore, not a creative work". Key word "creative". If anything, if anyone ever wondered what those concrete things are called, I, at the very least, put the correct name on it (bollards), and thus, at least one person was educated. Here are the facts: Target recently painted their iconic bollards because of the Pokemon Go craze. The bollards also were a 'Target' for Pokemon Go merchandise (pun intended), which is sold extensively and widely at Target stores. Target explains why they painted their famous bollards. It is described on their website as follows: "We wanted to create an extra special experience for our biggest Pokemon fans and landed on this idea that we think they'll love." Said Rick Gomez, Senior Vice President, Marketing. Kudos to the Store Manager and HIS Immediate Staff that day who saved a grand childs birthday! First the bad: We took our 2 grand children to Target to get some well deserved toys for their birthdays. One child immediately picked out a Legos car set and some other things. As we went to the cashier to pay for the Legos we were told sorry it cannot be sold until March 1st! The front end Mgr also reiterated the same and walked away with the Legos saying sorry its Legos policy! I was told this had happened several other times with Legos merchandise. Are You Kidding Me.. Its on the shelf and the kids cant buy it! Thats just WRONG The GOOD /Store MGR and his immediate staff to the rescue: So as we were paying for the other items we see a team of people who looked like Management. I asked are you the Store Manager .. Yes one answered and pointed to I believe his name was "Aaron" .. we told him what happened and the others in his group.. they immediately said show us the Legos and walked back to the toy area with my grand child. The Mgr went to the stock room got the Lego item personally and just lets say he made it RIGHT! Not only did He make it right the Mgr also gave the grandchildren a gift card to use in the future.. YES HE SAVED THE DAY ! KUDOS to the store mangers and his immediate staff who get how to handle a legitimate complaint! By the way over $800.00 was spent that same day in the optical and store combined ... which could have easy went to a competitor if this was not handled properly! Great Job.. now the only reason they didnt rate a FIVE star was the initial contact with the young front end person and clerk who stocked the toys that were not supposed to be out for sale! read more

Worst staff and rude curbside assistants. It was not even storming outside or raining and the staff left all the cars outside for 30 minutes not telling us where to pick up our orders. When I approached a staff member about the orders not coming out, she then put a finger in my face and kept referring to me as a ma'am (in 21) in a rude tone! I will not be coming back to this store since I won't tolerate being yelled at by someone in a neon vest. When I went inside to pick up my order I was hassled because I have a different last name than my mom. F this store. Good times at the old devil! Why i call it the devil you ask? Well my family seems to think every time you walk into target you can never ever leave without buying something... Not a bad theory at all just bad for me:) Finding the location of this target is fairly easy and the parking was simple as well. There is one thing about parking i didn't like and That was because there's only one entrance and one exit in the center instead of two exits two entrances on each side of the parking lot. Once inside you get that nice familiar target smell, Pepperoni popcorn and a hint of coffee. This visit was very pleasant I was able to find my product and get in and out without any hassle. The cashier was very friendly and had a good spirit. But as always I will return to target and always leave with something in hand. read more

#205 I grew up with Woolworth and Kresske stores, yes I'm old. They are long gone now but they were the original 5 and Dime stores. They had a little bit of everything and the nicer ones had a lunch counter. Target is today's 5 and dime store only on steroids. They have a whole lot of everything you might want and probably stuff you don't want. I should say that it's similiar to WalMart but its head and shoulders above it (no WalMartians). This particular location is always well stocked and staffed and clean. I've never seen a mess in here. It also has a large grocery section. Target's Italian Sausage is very good, we only buy it here. With the sales they run you can get some outstanding deals and they also have seasonal items. I scored Maddon 15 for my Xbox for $45, normally $60. One of Target's best things is their no hassle return policy. Good store. read more

Substitute this, they are out of that, they won't replace the item missing and the Shipt shoppers (Owned by parent of Target) do not follow instructions. Several times I have had to visit the store to correct orders, let them know about the shopping experience. It is awful. The store manager asked me to have the shopper find them if there is an issue. While I admit this is a nice store to shop at, but a nightmare to work for! Target hires you for one job and hours and then fails to train you, throws you into various other positions that they don't bother to train you and then constantly yell at you, put you down, and treat you less than a human being. And despite it all you still come into work every shift and continue to do your best. But then management fails to properly schedule employees and you come into work she calls you in and accuses you of not showing up to TWO shifts. When you never received a call about not showing up either day. Then you inform her she is incorrect, she demeans you, insults you, then you offer to show her the photo of the schedule you have that PROVES you were not scheduled to work, and suddenly she's not interested in any evidence. Instructs you to return to work without any written warning or reprimand, a condescending tone and an allegation that you are a liar. Later in the shift you find out that there are too many ppl working overtime and it becomes clear that she screwed up and is blaming you. HR doesn't care about how they treat employees, they don't work with you when you tell them you have a disability and can only work part time. So for the customers, please have patience with the target employees as they are treated like second class citizens and not at all trained for the job in which you see them doing. So quite honestly, it's not that they don't want to help you, it's that literally they can not. Don't know about the front of the store, but in the back it is a shit show. read more

I have a Target red card so I save 5% on all my purchases. I also use the cartwheel app which has discounts on lots of items and you can use coupons along with their discounts! My favorite place to shop - beats Walmart in every possible way! Walmart always has ridiculous lines instead of opening more lanes, staff is generally unhelpful when we go to Walmart. Target on the other hand is so refreshing and such a nice place to shop. We have never had anything less than a wonderful experience at both Target.com as well as any Target store we have visited. Keep it up, you provide a wonderful place to shop and so many people appreciate that, plus you do so much for the communities which we appreciate. read more

This place is deserving of 3.5 stars. I just didn't feel like it was quite the 4-star establishment. This is a big store. It took a long time to walk all through the place. There is a little bit of everything. The brands are mostly cheap quality, a lot being manufactured in China. The prices seemed high compared to similar stores. On a good note, the store was very clean and organized, and the layout was logical, and easy to navigate. There were plenty of friendly employees happy to lend a helping hand. The parking lot is big, with plenty of spots, but the entrance and exit was a bit of a cluster mess. All traffic seemed to be directed to a narrow four-way intersection, which caused some people to shut off their brains. I managed to dodge people unscathed, but the design could be better. Overall, it's better than the Wally Mart any day if the week. It's a good one-stop-shop if you need a variety of different items, and don't want to make several stops driving all over town. read more

If you download Cartwheel (gives you percentages off of items that you actually use/eat), sign up for the Red Card (link it up to your checking account and get an additional 5% off your total purchase-AND WHAT!?), and use your reusable grocery bags (I think they give you .05 off per bag-off your total purchase)--you walk out saving MORE than you do with Walmart. Let's be real, Walmart is dirty, dingy, overcrowded, and full of scary looking people. Target-the opposite. There's a good variety of organics/natural products. They have so many vegan friendly products at this location. 2 full freezer sections of Amy's, 1.5 coolers of nondairy milks, an amazing selection of kombucha, glorious selection of cruelty-free cosmetics, and awesome Market Pantry frozen fruits and veggies. My single complaint is that with all the amazing vegan products this location keeps in stock, they don't have any nondairy cheeses! Not a single one!! Service - Helpful, friendly employees. My first time at this location today (evening of Thanksgiving). I was pleased to see that they were stocked up on the items that they had Black Friday deals on. The deals started at 6pm and we didn't show up until after 8pm. We were still able to get everything on our list (Keurig, 40% off apparel, JBL portable speaker). I can't speak on the TV deals but from what I saw, it looked like people were still getting their hands on them. It was NOTHING like Walmart on Black Friday! I also saw a lot of employees on duty.
