It is really difficult to rate this kind of store. This is almost like a thrift store. They collect the remaining goods from distribution center and use them for it discount store. Obviously it is a discount store. The difference of this discount store is call treasure hunt. Basically it use the goods with discount and scavenger for the value find. It match the store name - treasure hunt. This store take Thursday to restock. Then open Friday for customers for every item as 10 dollars. Then Saturday for 8 dollars, Sunday 6 dollars, Monday 4 dollars, Tuesday 2 dollars Wednesday 1 dollars. Basically it is discount till everything sold in a week. The reason I said difficulty to rate this store is depend which day you go and what kind of good you found. They store do not have AC but strong fan for air circulation. Bottle water is free for customers.

Got several items from the bin and the greasy employee at the register tried to charge me more for each. A very bad first impression.

This is antiquing and vintage shopping at its finest, with a combination of many local merchants selling their goods in different stalls throughout the large space. Because there are many merchants represented here, the pricing can be extraordinarily inexpensive in some stalls while a bit overpriced in others. But overall, the pricing is pretty fair. I love looking through each stall and finding little treasures you just can't find anywhere else. On this trip, I found what I was looking for - a milk glass pedestal bowl - but it was a little overpriced compared to the previous thrift shop I had seen it at, so I passed on it. But my favorite time to shop at the Mercantile is just before the holidays. They always have such lovely and unique gifts for my family and friends (and myself). The staff at the cash register are always so friendly and pleasant. And they make the experience even more delightful.

Girls shopping day out! I like these antique stores…read more Brought mom to check it out. I did a couple sound test with one of my new gear was looking for something in particular for my short form film projects. After playing around i found something i recognized from one of my many previous jobs! A train cabin key! Bro these are pricey in online antique forms. I got it for $3.25. I already came up with ways to use it. Both film and i been researching clockwork builds. I love that art form so much. Its heavy on the math and physics. Cant wait to start! I saw something new they had on display. They had a couple of black lights show casing "Sugar glass" the antique glass reacts to the black lights and shine very brightly. If u like unique collections n decor? This would be a great way to collect old glass ware and just display for parties. Or for streamers with cyber punk notes. Kid you not the glass almost looks like a digital vector. Although i played with alot if things? I was happy with the key. I saw something that we both wanted but we dont have room for it. On our way out of the other store someone else bought it. It is the name of the game. The gentleman looked very happy. It was a one of those old school record players built into a table. It would had been nice to have space for it, we already have a family heirloom like that. Mom brought hers from Germany. love buying records for it n let it soar. No power just clockwork.

The people working don't even bother to speak or even look up. I was the only customer in the store. The person working walked past me several times without even a glance. Considering that I never see anyone in the store (and for good reason.)You'd think they would at least try to interact with the few customers that they have. Luckily the shop has nothing that I would have so I don't feel the need to go back.

I would say for the most part a lot of the prices are pretty reasonable too- it's not an uppity antique shop that charges sky high numbers for everything and is way too proud to ever price down. Really, you can find so many things here- jewelry, clothes, furniture, sports cards, retro toys, board games, cool vintage signs, comics, and that's just a surface review. If you ever find yourself in downtown Plant City for some reason this is a nice place to roam for a little bit!
