Sergio Trenche, owner of "Gotcha Covered South Shore", installed an inside Woodlore Shutter for me yesterday and he did a great job! It is beautiful, exactly what I wanted, and makes my office room look great. I love it! I recommend him to EVERYONE and will use him again in the future. His prices beat the competitors and so does his skill. He's also extremely polite. read more

Sergio and his staff were first class right from the first time I walked into the storefront asking for a quote. The job was a small one... looking for a plantation shutter to cover the sidelight of our front door. Sergio visited our home and took measurements. The quoted price was excellent and told him to go ahead with the job. Received a call that the custom shutter was ready (earlier than expected!) and he arrived on time the next morning for installation. Sergio took his time, making sure the shutter was level and every screw was tight. The job was perfect. Sergio treated us like this was a huge, full house purchase, not just a single, small sale. He came to our home as an installer... and left as a friend! I HIGHLY recommend Gotcha Covered in Apollo Beach for any of your window covering needs! read more

I am by no means a good decorator, but I know what I like....simple, sleek, nothing fussy. We moved into a new community and had a blank slate and were a bit overwhelmed so we hired Gotcha Covered to help with window treatments. The variety of items they have from which to choose is overwhelming and I like simple, so Nancy worked with me to pick out things that worked for all my windows. We were at their store several times and then she let us bring some samples home to see how they looked with our furniture. We did a variety of things..... blinds, cornices, outside blinds, and everything looks wonderful. Turn around time was quicker than we expected and installation was quick and painless. We couldn't be happier with all our choices. read more

It seems that all of the negative reviews pertain to the previous owners, the Wise's, who from judging from the reviews, seemed to have packed up and left in the middle of the night while leaving taking people's money and not delivering. It is now under new ownership and the new owner, Sergio, is absolutely terrific! Please give these people a try. He came to our house in the South Shore area, fixed a problem with our dining room blinds and charged an extremely reasonable fee. Plus, he looked at another blind, noticed it was uneven, and fixed that one at no charge. We also were missing a valance (it was since found) and he offered to stop by and give us one from his shop and put it up at no charge. I will definitely be using Sergio and Gotcha Covered in the future for blind repairs and will consult them first should we buy new ones. read more

If there was a zero rating for the current owners, Glenn & Sharon Wise, I would leave a zero. We had an estimate taken for 6 plantation shutters for our home on 7/25/2021 of which we left a deposit that cleared our account on 7/31/2021. We have never received delivery of the items and they have not been installed. The owners of the Gotcha Covered LLC - Southshore franchise store in Apollo Beach, Fl. (Glenn & Sharon Wise), are not in the store, the store is locked up, packages and mail are piled up outside of the store and there phones aren't being answered and their voice mail box is full. There are many people in our town of Apollo Beach Florida that are out a lot of money from this franchise. It's unbelievable that the owners have taken our money, they are MIA, their license to conduct business has been revoked, and they don't seem interested in honesty and professionalism. Please, if you've had the same experience file all the reports against them that you can. This is what I have done. I lost my deposit as well. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Filed a report with the Hillsborough County Sheriff, I am exchanging emails and in contact with the corporate president of Gotcha Covered, emailed the consumer reporters at the Tampa ABC & NBC stations, filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General, filed a complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and we will be filing a small claims court case in the Hillsborough County Court System against the owners of the franchise Glenn & Sharon Wise. read more

Beware!!!! The 6116 N HWY 41 Apollo Beach/South Shore is plagued with problems. In MARCH of 2021 We ordered a set of blinds for the front 2 windows and a set of 4 for our back patio. We figured there would be delays due to global shipping issues and understood patience was needed. HOWEVER, we're fast approaching a year and we are STILL waiting for resolution of our issues: 1. We received 3 (not 4) blinds. They said it would be another 6-8 weeks for the new blinds... That was in November. 2. They were not properly measured/cut so they had to come back out and "custom cut them to fit... Had to drill MORE holes are the old ones didn't align. 3. The were different styles and shades of white. 4. We have HOUNDED them for updates but they will not answer calls and have been closed since Christmas break. 4.b. All the employees have quit! We are now talking to a lawyer as the owners have been woefully unresponsive! If you have ordered services from them and are getting the run-around like us, it would behoove you to contact your credit card issuer before the 60 day limit or you'll probably need to seek an attorney for resolution as well! Good luck to all! read more

We were so lucky to find Sergio and his company. Superb quality and amazing customer service. I believe he is a new owner and I am glad we did not go by old reviews. Sergio is very honest and hard working. He came to our house twice to measure all our windows. Discussed in details all our needs, gave suggestions, modified our order once we decided to change a bit. Kept us informed on delivery and scheduled an installation appointment promptly. We are very happy to do business with Gotcha Covered. Actually, have another order for them now. read more

Sergio was absolutely the best from the beginning to end. He promptly came out for an estimate and took measurements. Kept up great communication while waiting for order. I purchased my Hunter Douglas motorized Luminette's over 5 years ago from Cliff who I believe was the original owner of Gotcha Covered. When the motor had issues and stopped working, I reached out and found out that the franchise changed hands twice since Cliff left. The new owners, Sergio & his wife, stepped in and were more than willing to try to resolve my issue. Sergio spent a great deal of time troubleshooting the issue and working as the go between with Hunter Douglas & myself to fix the issue. Today, we finally resolved the problem, and I couldn't be happier. Sergio is extremely customer orientated, honest and helpful. read more

We couldn't be any happier with the service and product we received from Sergio and his team at the Apollo Beach Gotcha Covered. They were patient and so knowledgeable. All our questions were answered and I made my selection. The shades came in sooner than anticipated and Sergio was able to install them the very next day! The quality of the shades is amazing and you can tell Sergio has experience installing. He was prompt, efficient, and the quality of his workmanship is unparalleled. We were quite fortunate to wander into his store just two short weeks ago! read more

I recently purchased a home and knew instantly that Gotcha Covered would be my only choice for window treatments. Cliff, Peter and Nancy did a fantastic job ordering and installing my Norman shutters. I am very particular about my window treatments and Gotcha Covered didn't let me down. This was my second home they've installed shutters and the ordering process, installation and teamwork was by far the best I've ever experienced. Thank you once again for making me a happy customer! read more

The previous owners of my condo had motorized blinds from Gotcha Covered installed. I have been contacting them for over a month now, leaving voicemails, completing online inquiries, etc so I can have the rest of the home done with the same materials. No one calls back, emails back, etc. I am not sure how they intend to stay in business when they won't respond to people who are looking to pay for their services. read more

Great service, quality, and price for our blinds. They were super quick to install. They are a local gem!

I am very disappointed with this business. I ordered several products from this company, including blinds and drapes on July11/2019. As of today 11/06/2019 my blinds are finally up (after having to replace broken slats), but I am still awaiting my drapes (and my entire order has been paid in full!). No one has attempted to contact me as to the status of my products. I chose this company due to positive reviews for the local neighborhood reviews online. read more

Gotcha Covered did such a great job on our new home's windows, we had Cliff come back and give us a quote on shades for the lanai. This is the place to go when you need window covering! This is the second (but not last) time we have used Gotcha covered and have been very pleased! Cliff is wonderful to work with. They have so much to choose from, they give their expertise opinion if you want or need it, they are reasonable and very prompt! I couldn't ask for better customer service. We will be using them in the future and I tell all my friends to use them! You won't be sorry!! Thank you Cliff and staff! read more

A great local business for the Apollo Beach area. Thanks Nancy and everyone at Gotcha Covered. read more

I love Gotcha Covered! I stopped into the store in Apollo Beach and was so impressed with the quality of their displays and wide selection of fabrics. Fast forward a few months, when I was ready to buy, but unable to drive because of a broken shoulder. Nancy came to my house, took all the measurements, and helped me select beautiful shutters for the guest room and the perfect smart blinds for the lanai. She came back for installation, and brought me a car full of fabric books so I could shop at home! Nancy has a great eye and years of experience and was so helpful in decision making. She and Gotcha Covered will be my only source for window treatments. read more
