This is now officially our favorite mall! It Harkins back to the days of neon leg warmers and scrunchies! Did I mention I'm a gen Xer who grew up in the mall in the '80s? In these days where malls are falling by the wayside due to online shopping it is very refreshing to see a moderate to upscale mall still surviving. The food court had many choices. The stores are very from high-end to kitchen. We both loved our stroll through Memory Lane just like we were teenagers again. We will definitely be back! Thank you for keeping our 80s dream alive! No idea when they changed the name to Brandon Exchange. It's been a year I have been here so maybe in that time span. Someone shed some light for me on that name change. Came here bc it was a record low temp outside and we needed to walk our furbaby inside. This is a good place for it and it's dog friendly inside and there were a few dogs walking with their family. Everyone needs to stay warm ya know. Now coming in here, we park at Dillards, and I get the Wonder Years Vibes. Remember that show from back in the day with Fred Savage & Danica McKeller - Kevin and Winnie Cooper I believe. It's the faded periwinkle green carpeting that makes it so back in the day. It has that feel to it, but I know I've seen even more throw back malls. Happy that we can walk inside here with no issues. I don't come here often at all, and I just walk around. They have stores like Apple, Lush, Dicks, Macy's, Blind Tiger Coffee. I really can't remember many, but they had a cool area by Apple with photo OPPs. Kids were having fun playing on the swings. It wasn't a playground just currently a beach looking type set up that was super cute, & Cherry blossom trees on the other side of it That definitely stood out to me. I came into the mall yesterday to go to Bath and body Works and to my surprise the Christmas tree for the Santa Claus experience is already up and all the decorations are there. I love this layout. It is so cute for the holidays. Now the mall wasn't too busy on a Monday afternoon I was able to get what I needed at Bath and body Works. read more

Ummm... What in the world happened here? I know it has been a hot minute since I have been here, but friends and I used to plan full day visits to come up from Bradenton to just walk around this mall. Now... No. Would not recommend. It was disgustingly hot inside. Not in a warm and toasty kind of way. In a we don't have control of this machine kind of way. It's been a minute since I've been inside an actual indoor mall so this was definitely a fun experience, but everything has changed, all of the stores that I'm used to shopping at are no longer available so I did leave empty-handed. It's so weird but I guess I have become a custom to online shopping. The mile was extremely clean and not crowded at all on a Saturday evening. I did stop by the Cinnabon place and get I guess something that's kinda new which is the inside of the Cinnabon. It was delicious. I added extra icing. I also sat at the massage chairs and got a massage. I think I still like JCPenney's, but I didn't go inside and of course they have a Macy's . All in all this is a pretty good mall. read more

I came here to pick up my Sephora order and there's plenty of parking. They have plenty of stores and they keep the mall fairly clean. They have a food court and various restaurants as well if you need to get something to eat and drinks. Overall would recommend checking it out! read more

Overall ok. Bit pricey. $45 for a hat. The reason for three stars is simple. We are from out of town and visited this mall. Walked through the mall and saw a courtyard with attached restaurants. After we enjoyed our meal we found out the mall had closed and all doors were locked. We had to walk around the entire mall, at night, in an unfamiliar area. Often times with no one in sight for help if something happened. I would recommend that the mall either leave the doors open to facilitate a method for people to return to their cars, cut a pathway somewhere in the building, as a shortcut, or provide a shuttle at the end of the night. The current situation is unsafe and bothersome. It's a long way around. read more

I've been to this mall a handful of times. It's not the worst mall but it really does need to be cleaned more often. The bathrooms are usually clean and the trash is always empty throughout the mall but the seating areas are so gross. They always look like they havent been cleaned in months.. stains, dirt, its just gross. read more

This mall is HUGE!!!! Haven't been here in a while and really don't remember it being this big. It's also very very busy! Parking was difficult and the amount of traffic in and out of this place is WOW. I try to avoid Brandon because it's so crowded so of course I made the hubs drive. It was a nice walk in the mall. Some of the stores they have are different from other Bay Area malls. Food court available with lots of options including Panda Express, Chick FIL a, Chipotle, Aussie, Villa pizza, Pholicious. They have the LEGO store, Disney, Books a Million, Macy's, Dillard's, Sears, New York and Company, an As Seen on tv store, pandora and many others. This mall even has a 7-11 inside lol. read more

I absolutely LOVE this mall! It is the BEST in the area! They have every store that I personally shop at, so it's a huge convenience for me to just be able to go to one place to get everything I need! A huge thing that stood out to me, were the family bathrooms. They have stalls for nursing, and little play areas, and even TV's to keep the tots occupied! They also have an option to rent strollers with tablets for $10, which is GREAT for moms and dads trying to shop and keep their littles occupied. This mall is highly family oriented! In the middle of the mall near the food court, they have a double deck carousel! If you're a fan of fresh juice, I highly suggest checking out Mintwist located right outside of the Spectrum store. Their juices are phenomenal! You could easily spend an entire day shopping here. We love it, and I know you will too! read more

We traveled to Tampa for a soccer tournament with 34 players and this mall was a life saver for us. The kids were able to shop around and eat at the food court on multiple days. The mall has a pretty good selection of stores as well as some outside restaurants. It is really close to a few hotels as well so we only had a 7 minute drive. read more

The mall itself is nice. It has a great selection of stores and restaurants. My only issue is the terrible traffic going into and out of the mall. I don't know who designed it, or decided to place the mall in between a bunch of man-made lakes. It's a terrible spot to be in during the holiday rush. They've added an extra access street, but that hasn't done anything to make the traffic any better. Oh, and good luck trying to make a left turn anywhere. You might as well make a right turn and drive the complete circle around the mall. I will continue to avoid this area during the holidays. I don't know why I decided to go this past Friday. The worst part was seeing the bumper to bumper traffic of cars trying to get into the mall area as we were leaving. Never again! read more

A lot of stores have closed, like Yankee Candle, Agaci, Charming Charlie, Adidas and a few other stores and replaced with smaller branded stores you'd probably never heard of. Use the rest room before you get there because the restrooms by the food court are out and must walk to the opposite side of the food court by Lids and the Pretzel spot, walk to the end of the hall way to outside trailers for bathrooms. There are 2 multiple stall restroom trailers (one male/ one female) and about 5 other individual unisex trailers... for women, only two stalls were not out of order and were filthy, the rest were taped as "out of order". Very bad and smelly. Panera has posted a signed for the restrooms only for paying patrons. Only two stalls in there and had a line out the door. read more

I seldom review an actual mall but this one was worth reviewing. I don't live in Tampa so I had not been to this mall before but had been to other Westfield malls in California and liked them. As we know Malls have been having a tough time these days, but this mall is doing great. Other than the Sears and maybe less than six other spots the mall was fully rented. The selection was many of your standard places, but some very unique finds one a pay by the hour or day during the week of and console gaming center. This place was awesome. I had my two kids with me and they had been deprived of gaming so I pad for them to play for an hour. Also the other place was an actual target game set up with airsoft rifles. My son loved it and cleared all the targets. There is a huge food court with many good choices covering a broad array of cuisine. I found a good dinner and lunch at two of the sit down restaurants that are right outside. There is even a 7/11 in the mall which was great for a big gulp and some ice cream snacks for my kids. I easily spent too much time here on a Saturday afternoon and also previously a weekday night. Unfortunately during the week I had got there around 15 minutes before closing so I only had time to find some really good flip flops. I really liked the mall and had a great time shopping and eating here. My only complaint is the way out was very backed up and took quite a while to get out of the mall as it seemed the traffic signal was not letting out many cars. But that really is the city's problem. read more

Good enough Mall. However the choke point is the entrance of the mall at SR 60. If you are seasoned shopper, you will not like this entrance. The less busy entrance is from the Causeway Blvd. this will be the tip if you want to shop here. Other entrance included the Lee Roy Salmon Expressway. Once you are in the mall, it was comfort to walk anywhere. The mall it self is good. If you want to get your morning walk in control environment, it is a good choice. It will take 20 minutes round trip and you do not worry smell, car noises or safety. It has multiple anchors store including Sear, Macy, Dillard, Dick Sporting good, JC Penny. Definitely has some bargains since they have been here long. Black Friday is always crazy on the parking. But we were lucky. I am not sure they have security cameras in the parking lot. If you shop a lot and decided to put the purchased items in the car, I would said move your car to next space so the thief will no know and thinking you are leaving already. read more

When you go to a mall prices are a little more, however when a store scams a 97 year old lady I have a huge problem. The store is Predire Paris. The sales lady said it was $4.30 and the minute I walked in they were pushing for her to get out. We walked down for a drink and I asked my aunt for her receipt and it said $430.00 we were so livid went back to the store to address the false price and they rudely said there is a no return policy, I am by no means a young woman but when you SCAM my aunt I have a problem. I would NOT recommend going anywhere near this store. How dare you prey on our older generations. Shame on you. read more

A decent mall for the Brandon/Valrico/Lithia/Riverview area... I wish they would bring back the other stores such as Lucky Brand that we have to drive across town for. And resolve their parking issues because there still never seems to be enough parking. But....it's still a decent place to shop. read more

Average mall that has a lot of stuff to entertain the kiddos. There even is a large merry-go-round, smack dab in the center of the mall, along with several very well planned play areas scattered throughout. There is the standard food court, as well as a semi-circle of more upscale sit-down restaurants located a few feet just outside the mall, within walking distance. I ate at only one restaurant here, on a later mall visit -Red Robin- and felt the prices were highly inflated. My daughter and I had a typical lunch, with two lemonades, and our bill came to $48.00. More on that later in a Red Robin review ;). This mall can be confusing, with all its corridors branching out in a seemingly helter-skelter direction that seems like you're in a maze. I suppose once I know the layout of the mall better, I'll zip right through, knowing where everything is located. PRO TIP: Go to this mall with someone who knows the mall layout the first time you go! To walk from one end to the other, it was exhausting by the time I got back to my car. As a reference, it took me two hours in this mall to buy only three items, and I wasn't browsing; I knew the three items I came looking for, plus I knew what stores to get them at. All three stores were located far from each other so that's the reason for a lot of walking. Don't get me wrong, I love walking and I'm not lazy, but this mall is NOT a quick trip, by any stretch! I did not expect to spend so much time here! On the plus side, the amount of stores here is huge, and you should be able to find whatever you're looking for. Not really excited about a couple of the anchor stores, and never shop at them, but don't want to diss them, and won't ding them for that. I just feel that though the mall is very beautiful and modern and clean, it's just too sprawled out for my tastes. Two levels would have condensed this mall somewhat while it was in the building planning stages. read more

Improvements & additions continue with Brandon Mall. It has been awhile since we've visited and were amazed by that new additional wing added. I especially enjoyed the outside restaurant area, it gives it that outdoor outlet feel with the option of going back indoors if it gets too hot or cold for FL's sweet spot weather. Would like to see exotic mobile food trucks/trailers come through. They seem to be on the rise & add variety over some of the mundane food franchises. Also more variety of desserts beside buns, pretzels, cookies or macaroons. I've seen some freak shakes like churros, donuts or something different like malls down south. On Friday June 23 2023 My family Myself my Fiancée and our two children ages 4 and 3 both with Autism attended an event at Brandon Westfield Mall in Brandon Florida, My Children where having a wonderful time and where very engaged in the event. The problem all started when a staff member we are not sure if she was mall staff or with the show decided to rip a balloon out of my 4 year old autistic sons hands causing him to become upset and crying because he thought he had done something wrong, I confronted her about this behavior and made sure the individual running the show was aware of her behavior as well. Following the situation, the show started, and both my children where fully engaged standing by the stage laughing singing and dancing when i was abruptly approached by an older lady mid 50's to 60's who began accusing my children of pushing her grandson (we have photos showing our kids right before this accusation was made) I kindly tried to inform her that my kids where not pushing anyone and that there where multiple kids crowded in front of the stage so if someone got bumped i apologize but they are just being kids and no harm was done as the child in question had never left the stage area or complained, the response i was met with by this women was unexpected and uncalled for as she began to call me derogatory names she told me she had something for me when i got outside and she was going to punch me in the face and beat my ass when she caught me in the parking lot all of this said in the middle of a crowd of children ranging from toddlers to 5-6 years old. after trying to deescalate the situation to no end i flagged down security as i was now in fear she would harm myself or my children as she was trying to push up and get between me and my kids. I was approached by a man who's name tag said Alex from Allied Universal and he told us he was the director of security for Brandon Westfield Mall and that he was kicking my family out of the show even after i explained to him my kids where autistic and they had done nothing wrong to which he stated no one else knows there autistic and no one really cares. Alex then threatened to call sheriffs on us have me arrested and have my family trespassed from the mall, well the women who was the clear aggressor was allowed to stay and watch the show with no repercussions for her deplorable behavior. I now had to pull my 3 and 4 year old out of a show they had been excited about for weeks which in turn caused them both to go into a massive meltdown. as we left the general arear of the show we decided to regroup and go to the food court to try to process what had just occurred and that is when we realized that one of the security guards name tag read Ryan and supervisor was stalking us through the mall, Ryan stalked us clear from one end of the mall to the other when my fiancé confronted this behavior and asked him why he was stalking us he replied that we had to leave the mall when we asked why he stated he didn't know why but that Alex had told him to follow us through the mall and make us leave. we then told him we were never told to leave the mall and that he needed to talk to his boss and figure it out. he tried to make excuses that he didn't have any way to contact him even though he was equipped with a two-way radio, to which he promptly radioed Alex and was told we could stay again under threat of being removed from the mall. about midway through eating our food we were approached by Alex again and he tried to justify his behavior still stating that no one cared if my kids were autistic, he told us we could get in the meet and greet line and catch the next show but under threat of being removed again if my children left their stroller. Trying to salvage what we could out of the day we decided to head back down to the meet and greet we waited 45 minutes with security still gang stalking us and as we made our way to being next in line we where told the meet and greet had reached capacity and we would have to wait 2 hours till the next one again with it being conveyed that our kids could watch the show but where not allowed out of there stroller and could not participate. at this point my 4 year old was a complete wreck and was disengaged and wanted no part of the show anymore which was heartbreaking as he had been looking forward to this for weeks. as we sat through the next show, we had security standing directly behind us at all times watching us which made the situation extremely uncomfortable as we felt that we were being stalked, harassed, bullied, and targeted by the Allied Universal security guards at the request of their director of security Alex. After the conclusion of the show, we then waited an additional hour in line now with extremely agitated children for the meet in greet again flanked by security the entire time. after the meet and greet we decided to try to decompress and headed to the bookstore by this point my fiancé who has ex read more

I am impressed by Brandon mall and how it has been updated in last ten years. Yes, last time I was at this mall was about 10 years ago! I really like that good chain restaurants were attached to this mall and not offering food court... I do like outside seating area with little fountains. It was very peaceful to see older gentleman reading his book outside. Also, maybe just maybe because it was not a weekend but I didn't see so many young teenagers hanging out at the mall as it used to be. Glad Apple store and Starbucks joined this mall! Mall is clean and usually not too crowded on a normal day. They way it's designed, its a big circle, to get to a point on the other side, you would have to walk to the middle then back to the other store, cant cross over . But if you're driving and just want to go to a specific store, its easier to park near the lot where the store is located. read more

This is one of the most difficult malls to get to... with twisting, trailing roads going all over the place and people trying to run you over. There is access from Brandon Boulevard and the Causeway, but the roads still manage to give me nightmares. When I used to competitive shop more often, this is the mall I would always visit while shopping the junior's and young men's stores. For personal stuff, I come here to shop shoes and cosmetics. Their clothing selection is just so-so. The food court is very impressive with a free standing bar for Pho and one for sushi. There is also an outdoor food area with popular restaurants. read more

I just moved here from South Florida and have been to several malls and outlet malls from West Palm Beach to Miami. This mall possibly has the worst parking lot and entrances/exits as drivers are very inconsiderate about the "right of way" law and haul butt inside the lots where there are obviously many pedestrians coming and going from the mall and lots. The store selections they offer at Westfield is borderline generic. There is nothing luxurious about the interiors and layout of the mall compared to the other malls. A local told me that its an apocalypse there during the holidays and Black Friday- absolute murder just to get around the lot. If you're a mallrat.... I guess this mall is for you as there seemed to be a large number of males loitering the lots and inside the mall. I just don't see myself shopping here for several reasons. read more

I would be writing a four star review, but as mentioned in several other reviews, the entrance and exit to this mall, as well as the parking, is absolutely horrendous. This is a nice sized fully functional mall, with most of the common retail stores that other malls have. Though it is common for some malls to have movie theaters, this one does not, due to a theater being located on the other side of highway 60. Also, there is a decent selection at the food court. Personally, I kinda like Five Guys Burgers. The mall is well lit, and has always been very clean in my experience. But, like I mentioned earlier, there are only three ways in, and three ways out. Every entry and exit is a choke point, with cars backed up in every direction. read more

One of the better malls in the greate Tampa Bay Area. It's usually pretty clean and has a great selection of stores. It's well worth the drive for us living near Port Richey. They also have one of the better mall food courts in the area. read more

What's up with the flies in the food court? omgsh, be sure you have one hand free to swat while you eat. We looked around and it was comical how everyone was swatting away while trying to eat. I usually go to West Shore Mall or International Plaza, but I had a Groupon for The Body Shop and the Brandon Mall has the closest Body Shop. The entrance of this mall sneaks up on you. We got a lot of dirty looks when we merged into the turning lane at the last minute. The parking lot is non-existant!!! I'm not sure why they haven't expanded the parking lot... We drove around the mall for twenty minutes before we could find a space. We weren't even attempting to park close to the doors; we would have taken any spot! The selection of department stores and boutiques are good, but nothing to rave about. I thought the layout of the mall is a bit weird and I had trouble locating stores. The parking lot is a disaster that I never want to experience again. Will never shop at Westfield Brandon Mall again! read more

I am not a mall person. Is anyone, really anymore? Isn't that why they are dying, leaving a desolate, concrete emptiness across America that should be reclaimed by nature sooner rather than later. This place has what you could want when you have to go to the mall, say, when you have an interview coming up and pregnancy and motherhood has made your blazer refuse to button? I found what I needed and escaped quickly. The smell of cheap perfume followed me for days. I would've gone to Barnes and noble or found some food here but my husband was ready to flee. I also would've bought a lush bath bomb because TREAt YOURSELF, but again, we're not mall people and I'd tortured the fam enough by the time I found a suit with stylish pants that didn't remind me of bell bottoms. Honestly, this is our go-to mall since it isn't far from where we live it's busy, the food court is amazing. I personally don't feel unsafe here, and honestly it's a very clean and good mall, I highly recommend this mall if you're in the area. read more
