I drove up here from Temecula because I thought I was going to get a good deal. I asked the man on the phone if he would be willing to drop the price to a certain number. He said, he would, but when I got there, he only came down about 1/3 of what he told me he would. I agreed to pay the price anyways because I thought it was still a decent price. The registration tags expired in January of 2019. I purchased the vehicle on December 28th and payed the registration through January 2021. In mid-February, I called the DMV to check on the registration and they told me the car was not in my name so they could not provide me any information. I called the dealership and asked them about the registration and they said that the registration was something that I was supposed to take care of. I told them that they had given us the option to do it ourselves or pay them to do it and we opted to pay them to avoid the hassle. I described to them where the payment was on the contract regarding transfer of registration. They said that they would take care of it. I called them again the last week of February and they said that they had the sticker and that I could come get it or they could mail it to me. I told them that I did not want to drive 100 miles for a sticker. I told them to mail it. That was a week ago and I still don't have a sticker for my car. Every day I drive in fear that I will be pulled over again, like I did New Year's Eve. Even if I'm doing nothing wrong, this just gives the police a reason to pull me over. Additionally, I was told by a police officer friend of mine, that the registration being this overdue is towable. Every time I go to my car, I wonder if it will still be there. I will NEVER go to this dealership again. read more
