Spicy tofu rice
Ben D.

I come here each time I'm in phoenix at least once. Always great and fresh food and I can't give them enough praise for ambience and service.

Purplelicious Eggplant
Kemlyn B.

Vegan never tasted so good! Beverage: one sip of the rose lemonade, and I was a hummingbird tasting nectar. Entree: The Purplelicious Eggplant was tender and tasty. The smooth texture was flavored with a sauce that brought the tofu and eggplant together. The brown rice was al dente. Dessert: I felt like I was eating a pandan carrot cake. I want another slice now! Service: 5 stars. They didn't rush us even those they had closed. They didn't even discourage us from having dessert. I will be back!

19. BBQ Noodles
Bhavana G.

I thought the food and service were just alright. I wished there was more sauce and flavor in the BBQ noodles, it felt bland to me. I was disappointed since this dish seemed like their specialty. The Pad Thai was just okay too, I've definitely had much better. Thai tea was refreshing and delicious. I think this restaurant is a great option for vegans and vegetarians who can't eat most of the menu at other restaurants. However, I am not vegetarian so I don't think this place is my cup of tea and I won't be returning. I'd prefer to eat somewhere else where I'm guaranteed more flavorful noodles.

Golden Vermicelli Bowl
Gisselle G.

Great vegan option. The golden vermicelli bowl and Thai Tea are my go tos here. Love coming here with friends and sharing different plates-the serving sizes are pretty good.

Service: I ordered takeout and they were very nice Ambiance: cute place with unique decor, nothing fancy Food: I ordered the pad Thai and it was super good but def not like your traditional pad Thai. I had an open mind knowing it might be different and it was delicious. More like a savory coconut milk sauce than tamarind sauce. Parking: have their own lot Prices: fair and great portions!!

Purplish eggplant was so good!
Nadeen L.

The purple eggplant was delicious! The crispy rolls was also very good. The panda cake is smaller than I thought and I can't share it hahaha. Small rainbow salad is very tasty. The only thing is you need to buy the rice separately. For that, I took off 1 star. Everything I ordered was tasty. My first time here and I'd love to try their other menu items. I was surprised it wasn't busier because the food is very tasty.

BEST cream cheese wontons in the game.
Don P.

The cream cheese wontons were the best I've ever tried because it had veggies in there as well. I really liked the pad Thai because it was different than your traditional pad Thai. This one had coconut cream and peanut sauce .

very bad service. they rush around without letting you say anything and they don't even come back to check on you. the bill was slammed down on my table before i was even halfway through my meal. i'm allergic to nuts so i always request no nuts (no stuffing on thanksgiving dinner they serve) and yet there were still walnuts on my plate. first when i sat down and was served water, there was a hair stuck to the bottom of my glass, then halfway through my meal im pretty sure i found a fingernail in my mashed potatoes. love supporting vegan places but this one is definitely pretty gross, bummer because the food is yummyyyy but if you like clean places i don't recommend it. wont be returning

Loving Hut is a great place to stop for a meal, vegan or not. Their food always tastes fresh and is never greasy. I love the variety.

The food was delicious. The vegan sushi roll was my favorite. The buffalo cauliflower was also pretty tasty. My husbands " chicken " sandwich was very flavorful and how can you go wrong with fries. My friend got the " chicken fried steak " and it looked really good. I ordered the macaroni and " cheese " with edamame and it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. It was the only thing we didn't like. The service was good and friendly. The restaurant had live music and he was a very nice addition to our evening. His singing voice was nice and he played the guitar very well. Maybe this is a Saturday night thing, I am not sure but it was really nice

We didn't have to wait for a table, but last time I was here in the middle of the week and it was pretty dead, so I was glad to see lots of people enjoying vegan food! The waitress gave us two menus -- one was the regular and I was very excited to see a sushi menu. I love unique vegan sushi and it did not disappoint!! The mango avocado roll caught my eye right away -- so we ordered that roll, the buffalo cauliflower and the cheesy garlic bread -- my friend really wanted the cheese garlic bread because she can never eat anything like this in another restaurant because of her dairy allergy. We also ordered a bottle of sav blanc -- it was good but maybe a little cheap, I had a headache the next day...who knows if it was the wine? Anyway, we ordered two other rolls the asparagus crunch roll and the philly roll. The asparagus roll was amazing!! The philly roll was kind of eh -- it was good but just not very flavorful. Since it was busy in there it was kind of slow for each item to come out but I was catching up with friends so I wasn't too bothered. The waitress was very nice and attentive so that is always a plus. I really want to try the brunch and so many more things on the menu so I will definitely be back!!

Here's the updated version:…read more Tacos Vegonos is hands down the best vegan Mexican spot I've found, and I'm picky! Growing up on San Diego taco shop street food, I have a high bar for Mexican food, and this place hits home in a way nothing else around here does. The selection is unbeatable -- there's literally nothing on the menu that isn't good! I used to eat here one to three times a week. My work schedule changed and now it kills me that I can't get out as often, since they're in central Phoenix and I'm out in far East Gilbert. But trust me -- this place is absolutely worth the drive. The birria is my go-to on anything, and I'll often do a 50/50 split on the nachos or the fries -- both are killer! I remember when they were just a taco truck, and the food was amazing then too. Moving to a brick-and-mortar didn't change a thing -- same incredible quality, same fantastic customer service every single visit. Worth your money and worth the trip, even if you're not vegan! It may not be the healthiest ingredients, but the flavor more than makes up for it. Go taste it for yourself -- you won't regret it! Want me to tweak anything else?

I was glad we got there when we did because shortly after we put our order in there was a line almost to the door. It is counter service so you kind of need to know what you are getting and everything looks so yummy it was super hard to decide. I got the AZ burrito with birria, which is made with jackfruit. It's meant to be like pulled pork. It was huge and very messy. They tortilla was very rubbery but the filling was good and I think there were French fries in there? Maybe that is what makes it an AZ burrito? Overall the flavor was good but it needed something else like beans or guac. It just tasted very one note. Also I got the horchata. It was delicious. My mom got the surf and turf taco. Again the tortilla was tough to eat so she got a fork and a plate and tore into it. This one had the "asada" soy steak and then breaded and fried pieces of cauliflower. The fake meat was not that good. It was too salty and so was the rice. The cauliflower although tasty was so big it was hard to eat. Overall it was good but not as amazing as I had wanted it to be. I likely won't go out of my way to come back.

Right on Camelback, in a little nook of a building with a book store/coffee shop attached. We entered and were seated immediately. If you read any of my previous reviews, you'll know that my wife loves oysters. Per usual, that where we started. We got the oyster and a bottle of prosecco. A few mimosas to start the day. My friend arrived almost exactly when the oysters and bottle came out. We chatted and perused the menu. We were in no rush as we drank through the first bottle. My wife got the pizza that was on the menu. I forgot what they called it, but it was good. Nice crust, a savory sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. My friend ordered avocado toast I believe or something very similar. She's a psycho path that runs 20 miles every morning so she was ready to take in carbs. She tore through it like a starving cheetah tears through a gazelle. I had an omelette which was pretty good, but nothing that knock me out of my seat. It could have used a bit of seasoning but in all decent. We ordered a second bottle and that is when their DJ began playing music. He played soft jazz which definitely was not the vibe we were looking for. None of the aforementioned mention brought this rating down to a three star review. It was all 4 star worthy accept the service was not great. Far from it actually. Don't worry I still tipped 20% as I feel it's a bare minimum, but he didn't deserve it. As I stated we were seated immediately, but it took our server nearly 15 minutes to even acknowledge us. I didn't know who it would be, but when he finally did all I could think is that he passed our table numerous times prior to stopping. Once he did there was a serious "I do not want to be here" vibe in his body language and tone. My friend who didn't arrive till the oysters and bottle were served missed that initial interaction but immediately noticed it. She an A type and wanted to complain to the manager. I got her to let it go. I know every has there days and this might have been his. Through out our stay here, he rarely checked in on us. As a matter of fact I believe we drank through each bottle before he checked in. This is the sole reason my rating went from a 4 to a 3. I hope the guy was ok, but I wish it could have been something he didn't bring to work with him. No pictures again. Sorry... I really just like to enjoy the moments with the people I am with and forget to take pictures.
