I'm not a vegan, but I enjoy the variety on the menu, and tonight's experience was better than my first visit. I started with the sizzling rice soup, which was really good and fresh. The clay pot dish did not look appetizing in photos, but it turned out to be delicious! The fake meat reminded me a bit of pork belly. Very unique flavor. The rainbow side salad was good, though the dressing was a bit too light for my taste. I also would have enjoyed more lettuce and not having everything shredded. The moonshot appetizer crepe was disappointing. I only ate one and saved the rest to bring home and doctor up with protein and sauces. I also tried the garlic sensation with steamed white rice, which was good, but I didn't really taste the garlic. The sauce was a little too thick, and I would have enjoyed more vegetables and flavor. That said, the protein in the dish was great. Loved the texture. The service is kind, though tend to zip by quickly. The staff is very nice, and they do bring you exactly what you ask for once you can catch their attention. Overall, a solid spot with great options, especially for vegans.

Spicy tofu rice

I come here each time I'm in phoenix at least once. Always great and fresh food and I can't give them enough praise for ambience and service.

Purplelicious Eggplant
Kemlyn B.

Vegan never tasted so good! Beverage: one sip of the rose lemonade, and I was a hummingbird tasting nectar. Entree: The Purplelicious Eggplant was tender and tasty. The smooth texture was flavored with a sauce that brought the tofu and eggplant together. The brown rice was al dente. Dessert: I felt like I was eating a pandan carrot cake. I want another slice now! Service: 5 stars. They didn't rush us even those they had closed. They didn't even discourage us from having dessert. I will be back!

19. BBQ Noodles

I thought the food and service were just alright. I wished there was more sauce and flavor in the BBQ noodles, it felt bland to me. I was disappointed since this dish seemed like their specialty. The Pad Thai was just okay too, I've definitely had much better. Thai tea was refreshing and delicious. I think this restaurant is a great option for vegans and vegetarians who can't eat most of the menu at other restaurants. However, I am not vegetarian so I don't think this place is my cup of tea and I won't be returning. I'd prefer to eat somewhere else where I'm guaranteed more flavorful noodles.

Golden Vermicelli Bowl

Great vegan option. The golden vermicelli bowl and Thai Tea are my go tos here. Love coming here with friends and sharing different plates-the serving sizes are pretty good.

Service: I ordered takeout and they were very nice Ambiance: cute place with unique decor, nothing fancy Food: I ordered the pad Thai and it was super good but def not like your traditional pad Thai. I had an open mind knowing it might be different and it was delicious. More like a savory coconut milk sauce than tamarind sauce. Parking: have their own lot Prices: fair and great portions!!

Purplish eggplant was so good!
Nadeen L.

The purple eggplant was delicious! The crispy rolls was also very good. The panda cake is smaller than I thought and I can't share it hahaha. Small rainbow salad is very tasty. The only thing is you need to buy the rice separately. For that, I took off 1 star. Everything I ordered was tasty. My first time here and I'd love to try their other menu items. I was surprised it wasn't busier because the food is very tasty.

Loving Hut is great! A must-order menu item is the BBQ Noodles - they pack a ton of flavor in one modest bowl. The recommended method of eating is to pour the sauce over top and mix everything together, but I loooove keeping ingredients separate and building perfect bites. A bite of bbq protein, then a bite of carrot, circle back to the rice noodles and end the mouthful with a cucumber. Yum. It's honestly fun to eat in addition to being delicious :) My only gripe is please give us chopsticks; forks kill the vibe. BBQ Noods come with golden spring rolls, so the portion size is enough to leave you full and satisfied. I actually didn't finish all of it I was so full! So the price, quality, and quantity all add up. Oh, and the lemon lime water is delicious too! The only thing stopping me from eating here all the time is the distance. Definitely check out this vegan option!!

BEST cream cheese wontons in the game.
Don P.

The cream cheese wontons were the best I've ever tried because it had veggies in there as well. I really liked the pad Thai because it was different than your traditional pad Thai. This one had coconut cream and peanut sauce .

I had dined at Goji Berry years ago, and wanted to try out Earth's menu. There's a good amount to choose from, the burritos looked tempting but I quickly decided on the bbq sandwich ($9.75): pulled seitan in smokey BBQ sauce, coleslaw on a toasty ciabatta bun. I got fries with it ($3.50) to complete my meal. The employee ringing me up was friendly and advised that there would be about a 20 minute wait due to the large group order ahead of me. My friend ordered from Goji and we sat at a table on that side. My food came out in 15 minutes, which went by quickly. The sandwich was loaded up and very saucy, so it was messy eating it. But the flavors were strong and it was yummy. I may get hot sauce next time to kick it up. I enjoyed the fries with ketchup on the side to balance it out. They had samples of their spicy jerky, which was good. They have drinks that looked good but I stuck with my water. Overall I enjoy coming here and getting to eat plant-based food. Next time I'd like to try a burrito and the desserts/shakes on the GB side.

We seated ourselves at a booth since it wasn't quite busy and that just means more room for our food and drinks to spread out *teehee* The cocktails were amazing my cousin ordered the espresso martini which she loved they make the espresso fresh. I went with a gin cocktail that had coconut flavors something I would never consider with gin but if you read my reviews you know gin is my preferred spirit. It was so good! For two people we ordered three types of empanadas we probably could have gotten away with two flavors and maybe a lighter tapa or desert but really wanted to try the cheese and guava empanada and didn't want that to be a main option in case we didn't like it. Needless to say we really liked all three: picadillo, arroz con pollo and guava and cheese - the picadillo was the favorite however both for the inside flavor and the accompanying dip. Pricing is not bad I'd say the serving and size of the three empanadas for $14 is a great price.

My husband had the cubano which was a big portion and he liked it. I had a sangria which was decently priced, we also got a Mojito which thought was pricy for the amount of alcohol. Would go back to try other things in the menu. They are literally next to the light rail which makes transportation very easy because parking in downtown is a nightmare. Would def go back.

We ordered the harissa shrimp and charred cabbage, which were both flavorful and unique. I love ordering things that I wouldn't normally make at home when dining out and both dishes were just that. The harissa shrimp was super flavorful and garlicky. Thankfully it was served with bread or else we would've been licking the plate for the sauce. The charred cabbage is wood roasted with yogurt masala, shallot, romesco and pistachio pesto. My husband was a little iffy about the mention of yogurt masala but was won over after the first bite because all the flavors complement each other so well. Ambiance is great with lots of natural light due to the wall of windows along the street. A train passed by on this rare rainy afternoon, making our experience feel extra cozy. Service was good and it's nice they have both indoor and outdoor seating with windows. Extra bonus is the changing hands bookstore is attached so you can shop your heart out afterwards. All around good vibes!
