I hadn't been to this location in a while, but I absolutely loved my visit. Even though there was only one staff member working that day, she was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated how they took the time to explain everything and didn't rush me while I lingered over the menu--it made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. I was excited to see they now offer the 50% less sugar Açaí D'lite, and it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the visit. It's not overly sweet, slightly tart, and honestly felt more refreshing to me. The fruit tasted fresh and delicious, and the lower sugar option didn't take away from the experience at all--it actually enhanced it.The space itself was bright, clean, and inviting, with seating that made it nice to sit and enjoy my bowl without having to eat in the heat or in my car. Let me start by saying I love this place. I however received the worst service at the location on Stapley and Baseline in Gilbert. I ordered online got there 30 minutes after it was supposed to be done and they claimed that they never got the order. I found it then they found it. Made it in a hurry with half the the servings on a large bowl. My container is half full. Not good for 16 dollars a shot. Going to find another location with better service. read more

So I tried this at the Phoenix airport. At the airport, they only had the soft serve option but I recommend having them mix it because the soft serve is so sweet, I could hardly stand it. However, at the airport their service is great and they convinced me to get one despite only having the soft serve mix (just not my favorite: due to the sweetness) They will give you a free sample if you ask for one. The regular size is pretty large so be prepared. I ordered the Maui and I have to say the toasted coconut is amazing. The reason why I gave this four stars is their fruit is so good...very fresh. They put granola on the bottom and the top. They were out of cashews and the hemp seed so they let me substitute it for something else. I was pretty full after eating just half of it. If I'm ever in Phoenix again or at the airport near the D section, I'll order again. read more

Absolutely delicious! The only reason I took a star is because there is a lot of empty space in the container. When you pay $16 for a large you expect them to fill it. It comes out over filled, but once you mix everything, it doesn't even fill the container. I paid extra for peanut butter and it wasn't warm so it was a thick chunk of peanut butter spread on one side of the container. It might have just been old peanut butter because it tasted like it was. All of the other ingredients were fresh and I really like their acai mix and granola (vanilla nut.) If I'm in the area I would definitely go back and probably leave with some granola for later. read more

Shout out to Kenzi! She was super awesome! She welcomed me in and went over the menu for me. She let me know what the most popular bowls were and that I could add and remove ingredients as I choose. I initially wanted to try the Brazilian, which is topped with mangos, strawberries, kiwis, and granola, and honey. But, Kenzi let me know that the mangoes that were shipped weren't that best, and she suggested getting the bowl without the mangoes or trying a different bowl. I appreciated that! So, I took her advice and went ahead and got the Volcano bowl, which is topped with granola, kiwi, strawberry, blueberry, and coconut oil. The coconut oil didn't seem appealing to me, as she let me know that it hardens and is like a crackle. So, I got it with coconut flakes instead of the oil. I come here pretty frequently and loveeeee Açaí bowls, but as of lately I feel like I'm just not getting much of açaí in my bowls. In the picture you can see the product doesn't even touch the top of the bowl.... For $14 especially since I had to pay for blueberries and peanut butter on my bowl I would expect a bit more for my monies worth. Overall pretty decent Acai Bowls!! My first time visiting, I got the Red Rock Bowl in a small cup, and honestly that was more than enough to get me through my sweets craze of the day. The large is HUMONGOUS, but if you're willing to share with another person, splitting one might be the way to go. The bowl itself was yummy! But it was so so sweet because they drenched it with honey. It felt like way too much sugar for a 'healthy' alternative to ice cream, so I made sure to request without the next time I came. The Acai bowl that I tasted here is for sure a 5 out of 5 rating. Overall it's borderline 4 & 5 because the space is very small and it was uncomfortable trying to enjoy eating our Acai bowls when there's a line of people trying to order right behind us. Your best bet is ordering to go and then eating your Acai in your car. The summit bowl was good, had just the right amount of chocolate on it. Fav spot in PHX! I love the bowls, smoothies, and staff. As many other reviews have mentioned, you get a nice sized portion for a decent price. These are the most inexpensive bowls I've had with them also being the biggest. I always get a small. Once I had rewards for a free regular so I thought "might as well" and felt so stuffed after. I come here often so whenever I come the girls know me and I feel like I'm catching up with friends while they make my bowl. They always pack it up nicely in a bag with a spoon and napkins. It's always super clean and they get you in and out quickly. I would also just note that the Acai is pretty sweet so the additional honey isn't necessary in my opinion, but my boyfriend on the other hand loves it so I guess it's personal preference! If you haven't checked them out, I totally say it's worth the shot. And that's coming from a girl who has eaten many many Acai bowls over the past few years haha! read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! Worst experience ever. I just experienced my first visit at the 16th and Thomas location. I was excited to drop in and try the bowls as I like to think of myself as an açaí enthusiast. They have incredible reviews on yelp and the photos of the bowls and smoothies look absolutely divine so I thought why not stop in and give it a try. DO NOT believe the hype. Worst açaí place ever. Unfortunately, my experience was far from nice. The customer service received from the two employees scheduled today June 26, 2020 at 12:00pm were not welcoming, nor were they friendly during my visit. Because of the tone I received from the male cashier during my order I decided not to tip, (they ask for tip before you receive your bowl) and in return I received the worst executed Acai bowl I have ever had in my life. (see photos) Also felt a way that he made my bowl in the back, I couldn't watch him make it. It was way too sweet, which is strange seeing as thought the açaí is "organic" and it left a weird after taste. I ordered the Brazilian bowl and paid extra to have coconut shreds added on top. This bowl does no reflect what is advertised on their website or across their social media platforms. Meanwhile, there were other customers in the store receiving much more nicely executed bowls than I. I can't help but wonder if it's because I didn't initially tip due to the male cashiers bad attitude. I did not receive an apology, nor was an offer made to remake the bowl. It was handed to me dripping and my bowl was sticky. I had to ask for a bag to wrap the bowl so it wouldn't spill on my way home. I didn't have time to wait for another bowl to be made because I had to return to work. I would give zero stars if I could. What prompted this review is when I got home, which is only 2.6 miles from the store, I finally tasted the bowl and it tasted old. The fruit in the bowl was warm and didnt taste fresh. Acai didn't taste organic. I was unable to enjoy the bowl that I paid $13 for. I'll be stopping by Nekter near the Biltmore after work. It isn't organic but it's way closer to my house and they have way better service and execute much nicer cleaner and fresher bowls. What a disappointment. I wanted to like this place. Will not be returning and I do not recommend. I hope this prompts better quality product and better customer service. read more

The amount of Acai, granola and fruit has been less and less by the month. It's unfortunate when a local spot such as this becomes a "just another smoothie or bowl" spot. I used to love coming here The tradition blended red rock bowl was one of my favorites because I knew what was in it right down to the juices. I never got the soft serve because i was told it was like ice cream and it was sweeter and god knows what they make it with ...ice and sugar...Perhaps??? Now that the menu is revamped one can only order soft serve which when "roped" into the bowl leaves large gaps vs traditional blended style which made the bowl completely air pocket free. Now the granola is used as filler and the fresh fruit one used to get is now as skimpy as the smiles and friendly customer service. I used to be happy to pay $14 for a large traditional blended bowl. Needless to say I won't go out of my way to come here anymore I can suffice with Nectar and Jamba. read more

I really love their bowls. I come here a few times a month. Not sure if there has been a change in management or ownership but there has been noticeable changes in the staff demeanor as well as the creation of the bowls. They used to fill the bowl up to the top and now it's like they pick and choose who gets bowl that is filled to the top versus someone who gets the bare minimum. It's just very half ass and almost not worth the money. When I go to the location in Scottsdale/tempe area I don't have these issues. I got the traditional Brazilian bowl. The consistency of the Acai is perfect, not too soft where it's almost like a smoothie texture. They give plenty of toppings as well.
