    PBJ bowl
    Kendoll C.

Ordered the PB&J Acai bowl- size small $12- I was discouragingly shocked when I received my bowl & discovered just how small their small was- frequenting similar "power bowl" style shops, a small is usually still a heart meal of protein & flavor, but their portions sizes were abysmal compared to others-and at the same price point! The fruit was fresh, but the size only offered very small portions, which were also only layered on top- compared to competitors who layer throughout for balance- The acai was an average satisfied flavor, but again I would have liked ingredients blended throughout in layers-felt more like a smoothie than packed bowl- Nothing overly impressive about the granola-very bland generic it didn't seem to be advertised they were featuring local granola, peanut butter, fruits etc either, so not sure the overall appeal- overall felt very ripped off-

First off you'll find this place located in The Churchill. It's such a fun atmosphere at a chill courtyard vibe. They have a friendly and engaging staff. My sisters and I LOVE the chocolate Majesty Bowl! I don't think you can go wrong with it; it's fresh and just delicious! I'd definitely come back as I'd like to try many more on the menu.

Stopped by yesterday morning for a protein smoothie. I ordered online before I headed over since I was doing something in the area. When I arrived service was friendly and quick. I got the PB and chocolate protein smoothie which has 28 grams of protein, pretty good! The smoothie is thick and satiating, and I like the ingredients they use. A bit pricey, but it's worth it as a treat every now and then if you're tired of at home protein shakes. I've come a few times before and would come again.

Cute spot at the church hill!! My smoothie was a little tart but I liked it ok. It was the mango berry (dragonfruit smoothie). A little honey would go good in the smoothie! But overall nice spot.

I am picky when it comes to smoothies and I really loved the PB&J smoothie at InFruition. I was visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this cool oasis with different shops and restaurants and ample seating to eat and socialize. Looks like a fun place to hang out with family and friends! At InFruition you place your order and they text you when it's ready. Something about it - the freshness of the fruit and the creaminess of the peanut butter - really hit the spot!! Wish they had more locations closer to the hotels downtown.

I was looking for a smoothie in the area and found Foxy Fruit Acai Bowls & Smoothies. They're located inside a food hall which is a pretty cool place to hang out, have a meal, and grab some drinks. It was grab and go for me that day though. I went with the strawberry banana smoothie which is a classic. You have a choice of sizes and I went with the larger one. After paying, they give you a buzzer. Service was friendly. Now to the smoothie. The smoothie itself had a weird taste to it. I'm not sure if there was coconut water in it (which I'm not a fan of) or some other ingredient which gave it a unique taste. Different than any other strawberry banana smoothie I've ever had.

    Strawberry banana (with cosmic look).

Got the strawberry banana smoothie with the "cosmic look", and an immunity shot just for fun. The smoothie is good but definitely a lot more banana than strawberry if that's your thing. The immunity shot could probably wake someone from a coma, which may or may not be what makes it effective Overall simple and fast service, and probably the healthiest choice in the food hall if you have kids. Food hall is also covered and has high chairs so even more reasons to stop by on a hot day.

Service was great. Employee was kind. The bowl was just not that good tasted more bitter then sweet and refreshing and felt as if they were rationing with the toppings for an almost $15 bowl I expected it to be loaded.

This was located at the Churchill in Phoenix Arizona. It's an indoor/outdoor food hall; served cafeteria style. Infruition offers health conscious açaí bowls and smoothies. They also have shakes and toasts. I got the mango berry bowl. It was light, flavorful and refreshing! Upon checkout you're given a buzzer which will sound when your order is ready. This was a pretty long wait. But the staff was friendly and knowledgeable!

The very best smoothies @ Roosevelt Row Churchill! Highly suggest the Green drinks!!! Very walkable & enjoy your fav drink & with so much health nutrients for a great start of the day!!!!

OMG! Grab a customized bowl or smoothie, then bask in the sunshine of their open air seating. I loved the chocolate peanut butter protein smoothie with spinach added while my friend loved The Morning Mix with chocolate protein and spinach. We stopped here nearly everyday while in town. Plus, I lost a receipt and their staff texted it to me right away! Can't wait to go back next time I visit Phoenix.

The menu is small, but don't let that deter you. As soon as we sat down, we were given complimentary chips/duritos and 3 different types of salsas. All three salsas were super fresh and flavorful. All three were very distinct and flavorful, each holding its own. I ordered the pollo asado bowl, which you can also get as a burrito. Presentation was excellent and I made an effort to try each individual item separately first to gauge the flavors. Overall, each item was excellent. Standout for me was the guacamole in the dish. It had a stronger lime presence than most places, but personally, that is what I want my guac to taste like. Of course, I can't forget the soft serve margaritas. Personally, I am not a huge fan of tequila-based drinks, but I wanted to give this one a try. First off, it tasted exactly like a strawberry yoplait, which I absolutely enjoy! And second, it did not have that overpowering flavor that tequila usually leaves in your mouth. Just a note: I did go on a weekend night so it was a full house inside. Given the small footprint of the space, it was pretty hard to hear the people sitting across from me. Overall, I enjoyed the experience at Condesa. From the food to the lovely service provided from staff. If you're ever in DTPHX, I would recommend giving this place a try.

I waited about 12 minutes to be seated, even though no one was ahead of me, while two people who arrived after me were seated first. Once at my table, my server walked past me three times without acknowledgment; it took nearly 8 minutes to get water. When my food came out, I noticed my white toast had been swapped for some odd-looking wheat bread with no explanation. I only found out they didn't carry white toast by asking. No manager stopped by, and communication from the front-of-house staff was nearly nonexistent from start to finish. The one bright spot was that the food itself was genuinely good. Visit 2 (Next Day): A completely different experience. The restaurant was actually busier, yet the hostess was immediately attentive and got me seated without delay. My server, Josh, came right over, was personable, and proactively let me know they don't carry white toast, offering sourdough as an alternative without me having to ask. I also had the chance to chat with Erin, the banquet manager, who brought a warm and welcoming energy to the floor. That kind of manager presence was completely absent on day one and made a noticeable difference. Bottom line: The kitchen is solid, both visits confirmed that. But the guest experience here can vary wildly depending on who's working. When the team is on, this place shines. Here's hoping Visit 2 is the new standard.

When the bill was brought to our table I asked for it to be split by person since my friend an I were paying separately but the staff member split the bill in half so I ended up having to partially pay for my friend's drinks (they ordered something while we were waiting for the pizzas). It's not a big deal but the staff member was like "ok sure" and promptly ignored my request. There was also a 3% credit card surcharge so that was kind of annoying. The space has a classy, mid-upscale vibe definitely giving "bougie" in the best way while still feeling comfortable and inviting. We visited on a Saturday, and the live music was phenomenal. The musicians played a great mix of current songs, which created an amazing atmosphere throughout the restaurant. The staff greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. I also loved the thoughtful touch of offering personal handheld fans to guests if they got warm. The bar was another standout. I really appreciated that the cocktails are crafted using African or Black-owned liquors, making the drink menu feel unique and intentional. If you don't drink alcohol, they also have a wonderful selection of mocktails and natural teas, so there are plenty of options for everyone. The food took a little longer than expected to come out, but nothing unreasonable. The portions are generous, and the prices are fair for the quality and amount of food you receive. We ordered the oxtails, jollof rice, broccoli, peri-peri chicken, and pineapple chicken. Everything was delicious, especially the oxtails and jollof rice. My only recommendation is to be prepared if you're not a fan of spicy food the piri piri chicken definitely has some heat. Since they don't offer ranch or similar cooling sauces, just keep that in mind when ordering. Overall, Latha offers more than just great food it's a full experience. Between the beautiful atmosphere, live music, welcoming hospitality, thoughtfully curated drinks, and flavorful African cuisine, it's a restaurant I would absolutely recommend. We had a reservation for a party of seven, and was seated right away in a quaint, well appointed dining room but the music was very loud -- more "nightclub" than leisurely brunch. The service was attentive without being overbearing, although the wait time between dishes and overall pace left a little to be desired. We started with cocktails, and while everyone agreed they were high quality and thoughtfully made, they were also across-the-board too sweet for our tastes. The Kahawa-tini (emphasis on the "tini" as in teeny-tiny) drank like an espresso martini, the Spice African Coffee was better, but the Black Star was definitely worth the price if you like a boozy cocktail -- bold, strong, and unique. The Watermelon Margarita was bold and vibrant. The Passion Fruit Punch was very passion-fruit-forward, while the Hibiscus Batida was creamy, coconutty, and almost dessert-like. Good (not great) cocktails, very aesthetic, just a little heavy-handed with the sweetness. The food was where Latha really won us over. We started with the whipped goat cheese with tamarind - it was light, tangy, and packed with flavor, especially paired with the warm chapati. They do charge for extra, beware. Of the main dishes, the standout was the oxtail shakshuka -- easily the table favorite and, in my opinion, the most flavorful dish of the brunch. The oxtail was rich and savory, and the criollo brought an incredibly aromatic depth to the dish. If you come for brunch, order it. The shrimp and grits were tasty, although the "grits" were definitely not what a traditional Southern version, it was more like overcooked rice. That said, the shrimp and accompanying flavors were savory and aromatic enough that the dish still worked. The watermelon salad with whipped feta was a generous portion and made for a nice palate cleanser. It was refreshing and pleasant, but it didn't offer a wildly unique take over a typical watermelon salad. The wings provided the most entertaining moment of the meal. Our server went way out of his way to warn our table about the insane heat of the Caribbean honey hot wings -- repeatedly -- stopping short of making us sign a liability waiver before ordering them. So naturally, we were expecting some serious face-melting heat. However, once they arrived the expectation didn't match the reality. The server waaaay over-hyped the spice level - maybe they've gotten complaints before but all of us agreed, they weren't deserving of such a warning. That said, the wings themselves were juicy and flavorful. You get 5 per order. I might as well mention the smoked salmon eggah, though I almost forgot about it. Definitely the least exciting dish of the table, though the server said it was a personal favorite of his. The salmon itself was nice, but the egg was spongy, the Gouda wasn't melted, and the overall dish just didn't have much going on flavor-wise. It was fine -- just not memorable. Overall: Latha knows how to build bold, interesting flavors. The food was a solid 4/5, with the oxtail shakshuka being the clear star. The cocktails were well-crafted but overly sweet, and the loud music, tricky parking, and slower service kept the overall experience closer to a 3/5 for us. Would I go back for brunch? Probably not. But would I go back for dinner? Absolutely. There was enough depth and creativity in the flavors that our whole table agreed Latha is worth another visit -- just maybe when we're looking for dinner rather than a relaxing Sunday brunch.
