    PBJ bowl
    Kendoll C.

Ordered the PB&J Acai bowl- size small $12- I was discouragingly shocked when I received my bowl & discovered just how small their small was- frequenting similar "power bowl" style shops, a small is usually still a heart meal of protein & flavor, but their portions sizes were abysmal compared to others-and at the same price point! The fruit was fresh, but the size only offered very small portions, which were also only layered on top- compared to competitors who layer throughout for balance- The acai was an average satisfied flavor, but again I would have liked ingredients blended throughout in layers-felt more like a smoothie than packed bowl- Nothing overly impressive about the granola-very bland generic it didn't seem to be advertised they were featuring local granola, peanut butter, fruits etc either, so not sure the overall appeal- overall felt very ripped off-

Stopped by yesterday morning for a protein smoothie. I ordered online before I headed over since I was doing something in the area. When I arrived service was friendly and quick. I got the PB and chocolate protein smoothie which has 28 grams of protein, pretty good! The smoothie is thick and satiating, and I like the ingredients they use. A bit pricey, but it's worth it as a treat every now and then if you're tired of at home protein shakes. I've come a few times before and would come again.

Cute spot at the church hill!! My smoothie was a little tart but I liked it ok. It was the mango berry (dragonfruit smoothie). A little honey would go good in the smoothie! But overall nice spot.

I am picky when it comes to smoothies and I really loved the PB&J smoothie at InFruition. I was visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this cool oasis with different shops and restaurants and ample seating to eat and socialize. Looks like a fun place to hang out with family and friends! At InFruition you place your order and they text you when it's ready. Something about it - the freshness of the fruit and the creaminess of the peanut butter - really hit the spot!! Wish they had more locations closer to the hotels downtown.

First off you'll find this place located in The Churchill. It's such a fun atmosphere at a chill courtyard vibe. They have a friendly and engaging staff. My sisters and I LOVE the chocolate Majesty Bowl! I don't think you can go wrong with it; it's fresh and just delicious! I'd definitely come back as I'd like to try many more on the menu.

    Strawberry banana (with cosmic look).

Got the strawberry banana smoothie with the "cosmic look", and an immunity shot just for fun. The smoothie is good but definitely a lot more banana than strawberry if that's your thing. The immunity shot could probably wake someone from a coma, which may or may not be what makes it effective Overall simple and fast service, and probably the healthiest choice in the food hall if you have kids. Food hall is also covered and has high chairs so even more reasons to stop by on a hot day.

Service was great. Employee was kind. The bowl was just not that good tasted more bitter then sweet and refreshing and felt as if they were rationing with the toppings for an almost $15 bowl I expected it to be loaded.

I was looking for a smoothie in the area and found Foxy Fruit Acai Bowls & Smoothies. They're located inside a food hall which is a pretty cool place to hang out, have a meal, and grab some drinks. It was grab and go for me that day though. I went with the strawberry banana smoothie which is a classic. You have a choice of sizes and I went with the larger one. After paying, they give you a buzzer. Service was friendly. Now to the smoothie. The smoothie itself had a weird taste to it. I'm not sure if there was coconut water in it (which I'm not a fan of) or some other ingredient which gave it a unique taste. Different than any other strawberry banana smoothie I've ever had.

This was located at the Churchill in Phoenix Arizona. It's an indoor/outdoor food hall; served cafeteria style. Infruition offers health conscious açaí bowls and smoothies. They also have shakes and toasts. I got the mango berry bowl. It was light, flavorful and refreshing! Upon checkout you're given a buzzer which will sound when your order is ready. This was a pretty long wait. But the staff was friendly and knowledgeable!

Best immunity shot ever. It's the only thing I've ever ordered but it's amazing. Staff is great!

OMG! Grab a customized bowl or smoothie, then bask in the sunshine of their open air seating. I loved the chocolate peanut butter protein smoothie with spinach added while my friend loved The Morning Mix with chocolate protein and spinach. We stopped here nearly everyday while in town. Plus, I lost a receipt and their staff texted it to me right away! Can't wait to go back next time I visit Phoenix.

Cute little hidden gem!…read more We stopped by on a Tuesday night around 9 PM, and it was pretty quiet. We were happy to find out the kitchen was still open. They had nice, ice-cold $5 Tecates, which hit the spot after riding our bikes around downtown. We ordered the nachos and added al pastor meat. Let me tell you!! those nachos were MASSIVE! Every single chip seemed to have toppings on it, and somehow they stayed crunchy the entire time. This is definitely a dish meant for sharing. There were only two of us, and it still took us quite a while to make a dent in the plate. The guacamole was one of the highlights for me. It was incredibly flavorful with a slightly garlicky taste that made it absolutely addictive. We also asked for salsa, and the bartender brought out all three options. None were quite spicy enough for my taste, but that was okay because the nachos themselves were packed with flavor. The al pastor was decent, though a little on the dry side. Since it was later in the evening, I wasn't expecting it to be at its absolute freshest, so it wasn't a big deal. We didn't order anything else this visit, but we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. The bartender was super friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The best part of the night? When it was time to pay, we found out that a random guy sitting at the bar had already covered our tab. Such an unexpected and kind surprise! I didn't get any pictures this time, but I'll definitely be taking some when we come back. Looking forward to our next visit!

The strawberry one came shaped like an heart! Also, instead of a full rim, they do this cute, artistic strip of sugar or salt on the glass. It's a small detail but really well done. The space itself is super charming. There's a long bar with plenty of seating, plus a cute patio out front near the sidewalk. Inside, it's low-lit with Mexican music playing, greenery hanging from the ceiling, and a bit of an industrial feel--it all comes together really nicely. Even the bathroom is adorable. The bartender was also super friendly, which made the experience even better. she checked in with us often. Very kind soul! We started with chips, salsa, and guac. You get a few different salsas: a chunky spicy one, a spicy green salsa, and a mild red. The chips were really good, and they also included these pinwheel-style chips that were a little different and had a nice bite to them. For my meal, I ordered the pollo asado burrito stuffed with rice and meat--really good. My friend got the enchiladas with refried beans and rice and loved them too. The enchiladas had plenty of sauce, and the beans (pinto) and rice were both really well seasoned. Portions were generous--we even had enough to take home for breakfast the next day. Overall, such a cute spot with great food, strong drinks, and thoughtful details--right down to the real flowers at the bar. Definitely would come back.

I waited about 12 minutes to be seated, even though no one was ahead of me, while two people who arrived after me were seated first. Once at my table, my server walked past me three times without acknowledgment; it took nearly 8 minutes to get water. When my food came out, I noticed my white toast had been swapped for some odd-looking wheat bread with no explanation. I only found out they didn't carry white toast by asking. No manager stopped by, and communication from the front-of-house staff was nearly nonexistent from start to finish. The one bright spot was that the food itself was genuinely good. Visit 2 (Next Day): A completely different experience. The restaurant was actually busier, yet the hostess was immediately attentive and got me seated without delay. My server, Josh, came right over, was personable, and proactively let me know they don't carry white toast, offering sourdough as an alternative without me having to ask. I also had the chance to chat with Erin, the banquet manager, who brought a warm and welcoming energy to the floor. That kind of manager presence was completely absent on day one and made a noticeable difference. Bottom line: The kitchen is solid, both visits confirmed that. But the guest experience here can vary wildly depending on who's working. When the team is on, this place shines. Here's hoping Visit 2 is the new standard.

You can still see the signs with Pierre Cardin and other designers on the wall. There is an elevator shaft with a glass floor so you can look down, and you can also look up into what feels like a black abyss. This place is rumored to be haunted, and that certainly Spooks it up a little bit. The bathrooms are on the second floor and they are super cool with hot pink neon lights, and, as I learned today, some of the little bathroom stalls have blue neon. If you walk back a little further from the bathrooms there's a bench area with morning on lights. The whole thing is just kind of cool. There's a second bar upstairs. It's always been opened when we've come at night but it was closed today with a really cool divider with slidable tiles. The dining room is lovely with a large bar in the center and stools around three sides. Make sure to look at the super unique mannequin. It really is so fun! And the spookiest part is going down to the basement. The dark stairs have a couple of inches to the side, one with a doll that looks like it's crying, and one with a loteria card of a doll. When you get to the bottom there is a fenced off area with lots of dolls. Most people would say it's really creepy - - in fact, the entire basement is creepy but so cool. There's always a headless Asian doll in a different area of the basement every time we go. The menu has super thick crust pizzas just the way I like them. There's some regular entrees like airline chicken, burger, and of course sandwiches and salads. The cocktail menu is really nice, and we've gotten some excellent cocktails here. Our server was such a nice, attentive man. The food came out relatively quickly and was really delicious. My favorite thing to order there is the Carne Pizza, and it was as good today as it always is. Someone in our party ordered the hot honey bacon grilled cheese with orzo salad, a bunless burger which came with mushrooms and asparagus and a side of fries. Two people in our party got the special, which was really good. It was a half a pizza and for your side you got to choose orzo salad or fries. I've had the orzo salad there before, and it is really good. It was quite a bit different going in the day to Annie's. At night time you always have that cool slightly spooky feel, and it's not really there in the light of day. But it is a great place to go for delicious cocktails and food, and it's just kind of cool to see. I don't think Hanny's takes reservations. We've never made them, and while we have had to wait in the evening for a table, it's never been such a long wait that it would discourage us from going. Lunch time was relatively quiet, and while there were a few other parties, it wasn't packed as it sometimes gets in the evening. Parking is what parking is in downtown phoenix, but there are a few spaces on the street right in front of the building. I think Hanny's is a gem. The history of the building, the quirky little things like dolls in the basement and the glass floored elevator shaft make this place super cool. Personally, I love it!

A generous amount of prosciutto, yummy red sauce, a healthy amount of arugula all served on a very thin crisp flatbread. Normally I am not a fan of extra thin pizza but it was really nice. He was so nice and friendly and kind enough to tell me about pizza tossing. He made it look so easy and fun. What a fantastic young man! He made my visit to the Desmond even better! There is so much to like at The Desmond, and I'm sure we will keep coming back.

I wouldn't go here if you're short on time. I went with a friend a couple of days ago and after…read morebeing seated, we had to wait a while for someone on staff to come over and take our food order. We each ordered a pizza but they took almost 45 minutes to arrive, my friend had a simple pepperoni while I had the truffle. The pizzas were ok but at $21 each they weren't worth the wait. When the bill was brought to our table I asked for it to be split by person since my friend an I were paying separately but the staff member split the bill in half so I ended up having to partially pay for my friend's drinks (they ordered something while we were waiting for the pizzas). It's not a big deal but the staff member was like "ok sure" and promptly ignored my request. There was also a 3% credit card surcharge so that was kind of annoying. I left a small tip but that was being generous. I wanted to go to the pub mextdoor but my friend convinced me that we should go here instead. I won't be making a return visit.

I really wanted to give this place 4.5 stars, but Yelp can be ass…read more This restaurant absolutely nails the things that are hard to teach: hospitality, atmosphere, and making guests feel welcome. From the moment you walk in, it feels less like a restaurant and more like you've been invited into someone's home for dinner. The cocktail program deserves its own shoutout. Every drink was thoughtfully crafted and easily some of the best cocktails I've had in the area. The service was warm, attentive, and genuine without ever feeling forced. As for the food, everything we ordered was excellent. The standout dishes for us were the goat cheese appetizer, the oxtail entrée, and the pound cake dessert. There wasn't a single dish that made us think, "we shouldn't have ordered that." At the end of the day, plenty of restaurants have good food. What sets this place apart is the overall experience. Great food, great drinks, great people, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. We'll definitely be back.

We ordered two appetizers: whipped goat cheese (with black garlic honey, radishes, sumac, and…read morechapati) and the griot wings (tamarind-glazed, which is the spiciest option), along with two entrees: the lamb griot (served with couscous and sweet plantains) and the oxtail barbacoa (served over their version of mac and cheese). Starting with the appetizers, I'd say these two were my favorites of the night. The chicken wings (5 pieces) were tender and flavorful, featuring a very unique spice blend. The whipped goat cheese wasn't overly gamey, it was perfectly creamy and paired well with the black garlic honey, which tasted a lot like fig jam. The homemade chapati was great too. However, the ratio of cheese to bread was a bit off. We heard a server asking the next table if they wanted more chapati, so we assumed an extra piece was complimentary. We later found out we were charged $6 for it, which was a bit of a surprise tho. As for the entrees, the oxtail barbacoa was the biggest oxtail I've ever seen. It was packed with tender meat and rich gelatin, and the radiatori pasta with gouda was wonderfully creamy and delicious. The lamb griot was a unique dish I hadn't tried before, while the portion of lamb wasn't huge, it was very good. The plantains were amazing and slightly sweet, making the whole dish incredibly flavorful. Overall, it was a really cool experience. The food is highly seasoned and flavorful without being overly salty like most restaurants, though it is definitely on the pricier side. Our server was very busy that night, so checking out took quite a bit of time. The atmosphere is awesome with great decor, merchs, and live performances. ps. The chairs are incredibly hard and uncomfortable, I couldn't sit in them for too long lol
