Absolutely love this place. It has such a home-y feeling to it and the owner is so friendly! Their chilaquiles with green salsa and carne is my favorite thing to get. The hot chocolate was sweet but a little to sweet for me or maybe i just didn't pair it well with sweet on sweet, hmm. Mental note for the future, so during the winter season they serve a hot drink called Champurrado which is a thick atole that is corn dough with cinnamon that may not sound so good but once you have it you'll know why it's a fav during the winter season. Obviously their namesake churros and chocolate are fantastic but their sandwiches are also the bomb. Most of the time we come here for the Turkey or ham ciabatta sandwiches and sometimes churros for dessert. The worst service we had ever experienced. We got to the restaurant literally 2 minutes before opening and the young gentlemen in the front was so rude and not very helpful. He looked like he just rolled out of bed and didn't want to help us at all. All he kept saying was you need to come back. We looked at him and asked if it was okay if we just wait in the front since there was only 2 minutes before opening. He didn't respond and just closed the door on us. When we walked in at 8:30 am, he didn't bother to greet us or say anything. He looked at us like we were bothering him. A lady came out and took our order but at this point we were already extremely turned off by the mannerism of the other guy.
