i said yes to the dress !! lotus is my local bridal shop a few blocks away from my house. i've always seen it but never went in. i've only gone to bigger named ones. it was my second time dress shopping. my first time was somewhere in jersey and i didn't find anything that i LOVED but was still also trying to find what style i wanted / fit me best. i legit had no intentions of buying anything but as soon as i walked in i saw the dress and was like oooh i really like that def wanna try it on. i fell in love and felt so beautiful!! and knew this was it. it's so cliche but i was shocked i found it when i wasn't even looking for it !! christine was amazing!! she was so nice, friendly and personable which i appreciate. she helped me really focus on what i was looking for and was just so helpful along the way. she was so welcoming and totally made me feel super comfortable. can't say enough nice things (: read more

Had the BEST experience at Lotus all thanks to Nina. Lotus was actually the first bridal store I went to with my grandmother, mom, and sister. Nina pulled all the options for me ahead of time and was able to read my vibe very quickly, and the 5th overall dress I tried on sincerely floored me!! I became obsessed. I went around to a few other places and kept trying to get the same vibe, and I never felt it. I ended up going back today to get that exact dress, and I'm so so so glad I said YESSSS at Lotus! Thank you for such a great experience. A once in a lifetime moment can feel scary but I'm glad I had Nina with me to walk me through it :) read more

i went in through a recommendation from a friend. i had already gone to two other larger gown shops in the city so i wasn't expecting to find a dress here but i did! the price points here definitely start more budget friendly. they have a wide variety of designers. Nina helped me and she was super friendly and showed me a bunch of dresses based on what i liked and i still can't believe i found the dress! i will update once i get it and go through the process of that! read more

I had an amazing experience at Lotus Bridal's Brooklyn location! It's an intimate spot with only one person trying on dresses at a time. I had gone twice because I wanted time to think on the dresses I tried on. I said yes to my dress last week with the help of Nina who was the absolute best!!! I cannot thank her enough for being so helpful. Excited to come back and have her help with accessories once my dress comes in! read more

Lotus Bridal - I said yes to the dress! - Bridal Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I had only visited one bridal store in Queens and had to cancel my initial appointment at Lotus Bridal. I am so glad I re-scheduled! It was easy to get to from Queens and had ample residential parking. I scheduled my appointment for 11am. Along with myself, there were about three other ladies that had 11am appointments that arrived with their entourage so it was a full house. I was a bit nervous because the place is not huge. However, It was an awesome experience. I worked with Jessica as my bridal consultant. She was kind, patient, and mindful of what I wanted. She quickly understood my vision and helped me find my dress!! I never felt rushed or confused because she answered all my questions and concerns. The prices are reasonable and I found my dress! I will say if you are looking for your dress, check out Lotus Bridal and give yourself ample time to find your dream dress to avoid any rush fees. I would say give yourself at least eight months. Alterations can get pricy but she did do a great job with my dress! Seamstress is at the same address, on the 3rd floor. I would recommend this place if you are looking for your dream dress and want reasonable prices. read more

My terrible experience with Lotus Bridal culminated with me wearing just undergarments and sobbing in their fitting room because my dress didn't fit the week of my wedding. It's taken me months to write this because I've been so upset, but I'm finally ready to share a glimpse into my nightmare experience - future brides I cannot stress enough that you should NOT buy your dress at Lotus. Mislead on the Sales Floor: The day I bought the dress I was told lies about the dress including what the sleeves would look like once my version of the dress came in. The sales associate also misled my mom who bought the dress for me to tip her 20% of the total price of the dress equating to hundreds of dollars. Wrong Size: In a tactic I have to assume was utilized in order to over-charge on alterations, the sales associate ordered my wedding gown several sizes too big and assured me it was fine when the gown first came in. However, once the dress came in and I was finally able to meet with a seamstress (making appointments was extremely difficult and the staff were extremely inflexible) she told me the dress was too big to alter. Buying The Floor Sample: With just weeks to go until my wedding, I was forced to return the dress I purchased and instead buy the floor sample I had originally tried on. Alterations Were A Disaster: Even after buying the floor sample, alterations were a mess. I couldn't get appointments and the women altering my dress kept calling out sick from work. The work done on my dress was left up until the very last day possible it could be completed and it was a rush job. The bust was too big and my bra was visible, the sleeves were too tight and uncomfortable, the buttons were loose and popping off because of the old floor sample, the lace was uneven and I was miserable. I did not look how I wanted to look on my dream wedding day. The Worst Part: The owner kept telling me all of these issues were my fault because I had lost weight. She even lost the undergarments I was supposed to wear with the dress and tried to convince me some other girl's undergarments were mine. The people who own Lotus Bridal should be ashamed of themselves. I have such negative memories of the days leading up to my wedding and on my wedding day that I haven't even printed out a single photo of myself from the day. For all the stress and heartache the company gave me NOTHING back. Don't give these people your business and don't risk the stress and upset I felt by shopping there. read more

I highly recommend that brides visit the Lotus Bridal boutique in Brooklyn. Stephanie was the employee who attended me and she was so incredibly sweet. For my first ever bridal store visit & not knowing what to expect, i was a bit nervous going alone hoping it wasn't an overwhelming experience. Stephanie made me feel so comfortable and was not pushy trying to make a sale. She was patient, attentive and was able to answer my questions. The store itself is very small, seems like only 2 brides can try on dresses at the same time on the first floor which makes for a very personal and individualized experience (not sure if there's another floor though). I visited the boutique already knowing the style of dress i was looking for. They have a decently sized collection but I would recommend browsing the website as i did and submitting an inquiry on the Lotus Bridal website to see which location carries the style of dress you are looking for. All to say, I look forward to going back to Lotus Bridal Brooklyn and working with Stephanie to say yes to the dress! read more

What an amazing experience working with Marissa. Such a beautiful assortment of gowns and the service was 5 star. Lotus Bridal - I said YES! - Bridal Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I had such a lovely experience at Lotus Bridal! I worked with Nina, who was so patient and attentive. She made sure I stayed within budget, and helped me find my dream dress (that I am still obsessed with, almost two years after saying yes)! I also had my dress altered with their seamstress upstairs, and her work is phenomenal. In my wedding dress search I went to one other salon, but I came right back to Lotus where I felt more comfortable! The dress I chose was made by Essence of Australia. read more

I love the intimate feel of this bridal salon! I found my gown pretty quickly online and called around to different salons to see which one had it in store. I tried it on at Lotus mineola and bought my wedding and wedding shower gowns from the Brooklyn location. The intimate feel sold me. Also, there is a lot of metered street parking available. Customer service was good, but I didn't put it to the test because I knew exactly what I wanted, and everything went smoothly. I can't wait for my big day! Thanks Lotus! read more

Shoutout to Olivia and Valerie for being the ABSOLUTE BEST bridal consultants EVER. I came by here with my sister to choose THE dress for her big day and it was the most pleasant experience. On our first visit, we were greeted by Olivia, who literally is the SWEETEST. She makes cotton candy seem bitter because she is SO sweet and attentive. We tried on a couple of dresses and Olivia made sure to let my sister try on different veils and offer different recommendations, all while staying in the discussed budget. She was not pushy at ALL about buying the dress and you could tell she really does care about making sure you pick the perfect dress for your special day. Upon our second visit, we were assisted by Valerie, who was also extremely helpful and understanding. Again, you can tell that she was NOT pushy and that she really puts the clients' needs as her priority. We decided to say yes to the dress and we had a wonderful YES moment!!! I highly recommend coming here for your bridal fitting. The staff here is great and their selection is wide. Definitely consider coming to check out their dresses and ask for Olivia or Valerie! read more

Go here! I did not purchase here but I had a great appointment with a personable, comfortable, communicative consultant. MUCH better experience than Kleinfeld or RK Bridal. Can only rate 4 stars due to a faux pas - the consultant believed a sample dress could be let out...but as I was almost about to hand over the money, she got confirmation she was wrong. She offered to grab the seamstress to be 100 percent and I'm really glad she did because then I'd be up a creek. Due to this - my consultant texted later that night and the next day some other dresses they had in stock that she thought I may be interested in but didn't get to see in my appointment time (although I saw a bunch there) either because we didn't get to them or because they were at their other location and would need to be pulled over to the Brooklyn location. I think this place deserves your time! read more

Excellent customer service. They actually squeezed us in to try on bridesmaids dresses. Olivia and Jessica were dolls. Absolutely helped us with narrowing down our choices. There was no wait. We went upstairs and she asked us questions to get to know our style and we went to work. I would highly recommend those in search of dresses. read more

One would think there isn't that much on Avenue U to begin with besides 99 cent stores, pizza joints, and random Chinese stores, but then there's Lotus Bridal in the middle of it all. The atmosphere inside really is trying much too hard to impress me; we are still in Brooklyn, you know? The selection is minimal for bridesmaids, mothers-of-the-bride, and especially flower girls. Don't get me wrong, the bridal selection is minimal as well, but you CAN actually touch the dresses here as opposed to "other" places. My mom did get her dress here yesterday for my sister's wedding next year, but I feel it was outta sheer luck. The massive confusion we were in with a very hyperactive flower girl and an incredibly picky bride, left me ready to run down the aisle...in the other direction! Come here after you've seen it all every place else, and then....just maybe...you might find something here. read more

I had an AMAZING experience with Olivia, my bridal consultant, and my family. I had tried on dresses for the first time at a big name retailer who's name doesn't deserved to be dropped in this review and it was not the great experience i thought i would have. My experience at this sweet and personable bridal boutique was amazing. I looked through their look book prior to my appointment and already knew which type of dresses i wanted to try on. There was one dress in particular that i had fallen in love with on the website. Olivia chose some gowns for me based on our phone consultation the day before which was also amazing. We hit it off over the phone, i felt like i was speaking with a long time friend. I told my family that i felt very good about the appointment because of the initial consultation we had the day before. When i got there Olivia was great in person. She was very attentive and really listened to what i told her i liked and didn't like the day prior. I had to step into the dress on my own because of COVID but Olivia helped me make the dress presentable. As soon as i put it on i felt like a bride; i didn't feel this way at all in any of the dresses i tried on at the other place. I turned around to show my family and their faces lit up. As i stood in the dress longer Olivia showed me that i could add detachable sleeves which made my dress look even more beautiful and unique. Olivia put the veil on that she pairs with that dress usually and I instantly fell in love. It made me cry because i really felt like a bride. It was a beautiful moment with my loved ones on FaceTime. My mother said Olivia made her feel like she was there even tho she wasn't. Olivia was great and i highly recommend her. The room we tried on dresses in was very intimate which made the experience even greater. After posting my photos on Instagram i had a few other friends tell me they found their dress at Lotus Bridal also. read more

We had a wonderful experience! Abby was so kind and helpful and ultimately was able to lead us to the LI location to find our perfect dress!

I had the most wonderful experience at Lotus Bridal!! Olivia was my bridal attendant, and went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. We had messaged back and forth prior to the appointment and I explained what I was looking for. She was able to give me the dress of my dreams right away and was super kind and helpful. I was afraid that shopping for my dress during Covid would take away from my experience, but it was beyond amazing. I cannot recommend Lotus enough, they had a beautiful selection of dresses and Olivia is amazing. I cannot wait to pick up my dress and recommend this shop to all of my friends! read more

Such an amazing experience at Lotus Bridal!! The most pleasant staff I've experienced. I wish I could do it all over again because it was so fun - Marissa is an absolute delight and was so helpful & patient working with me (and I can be very indecisive)! But when I had notes on what I liked and didn't like from the dresses I tried on and asked if she can find a dress that mixed the two styles - she pulled the perfect dress that resulted in me saying yes to the dress!! She is freaking magic! Highly recommend!! Very very satisfied with my experience and can't wait to continue working with Marissa and team on this wedding journey. read more

great dress shop with so many options! highly reccomend asking for Aenlly she helped me find the perfect dress with ease!

Absolutely loved our experience here. A lovely shout out to KIRA who helped my cousin pick her "yes" to the dress. She was absolutely welcoming, helpful & loving. Most of all she was attentive to all our questions & the needs of my cousin. KIRA was knowledgeable with a lot of the dresses that my cousin tried on. We never felt pressured with her once & she was patient with allowing us to make decisions. Our time here felt a bit like home & I don't think we felt any disconnect with KIRA through the whole process. Thank you for all the love & support Lotus Bridal! read more

Marrisa is absolutely amazing! I can't describe how helpful she was during my wedding dress process. Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! After so many salons and still no wedding dress, I was so happy to find the dress at Lotus. It was beautiful! Marissa was so fantastic! Then both fittings occurred seamlessly. Their prices were reasonable for gown and alterations. Everyone including so many strangers complimented me on my wedding gown on my wedding day. I can't say enough good things about the salon and especially Marissa (honestly one of the sweetest people I've met)! read more

I have to open by saying I did not buy my wedding dress here but I truly wish I had after the terrible experience I had in Manhattan. Altogether, I had her to over 20 bridal stores - from the barn to the ultra Madison Avenue high end. Lotus ranks as one of the best customer service experiences I had. The prices of these dresses are VERY affordable! I was duly impressed by how affordable. They allow you to take photographs. A bridal shop that doesn't allow you to take pictures in this day and age can go to Hell. The workers here are very friendly and professional. They treated us with respect, even after we left without purchase. Very high marks for this shop. I highly recommend it. read more

I am not one to ever leave reviews but have to here! Lotus Bridal won me over from the start. There are a lot of boutiques that don't let you browse and Lotus had no problem with us looking through dresses when we arrived (because it's just fun!). I had chosen a handful of dresses beforehand on their website that I liked (one that I had been staring at for two months) and unlike other boutiques I had been to, Nina had them pulled and ready right away and in the right sizes. She wasn't pushy at all about sales, but more in tune with me finding what I wanted with a good sense of humor too. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I'm so happy I found my dress there. I absolutely love love LOVE my bridal consultant, Marissa. She was absolutely amazing in helping me to find my dream wedding dress. I came to see her twice - the first time was my very first wedding dress shopping experience ever, and the second time, I went back after going to two other places because she made me feel the most comfortable and taken care of. She really cares about you as a bride and cares about making your day special. Once we figured out the type of styles I liked, her and I just CONNECTED. Before I even would say anything, she would know immediately whether or not I liked a dress. Sometimes, she even knew what I was thinking before I could even figure it out myself (there were many times I was conflicted between 2-3 dresses ). There is something extremely special about that. You can tell that she loves what she does. I want to thank Marissa for making my shopping experience one of a kind & helping me say YES to the dress!! Love her! read more

My wedding was July 3, 2014. I just decided to try this place out for my dress and my bridesmaids dresses. Everyone that works there was very easy to work with. I don't live close to Lotus and ran late a few times getting to appointments but they never made it a big deal. All of their dresses are beautiful and most under $2,000. I ended up getting my dress, my mother and my bridesmaids dresses here and was very happy overall. Some of my girls had weird water marks on their dresses when it came from the manufacturer and they helped in cleaning/drying. It is street parking so keep that in mind when planning how long it takes you to get there but that's really the only downside. read more

I had went to a few other bridal shops prior to shopping at Lotus. By time I had arrived at Lotus, I felt as if I was never going to find the dress of my dreams. I had a terrible experience at a famous competitor shop and I was already feeling down. I went in with the idea I wasn't going to find anything, until I walked inside Lotus Bridal. Sydney helped me find the dress of my dreams. I honestly loved every dress in the shop and it was actually difficult for me to choose but I had a final dress I loved that she picked out for me. I cannot wait to wear my gown in December! Sydney knew what I was looking for just from brief descriptions. Thank you so much for the pleasant experience. I've also returned twice thereafter to purchase mother of the bride and groom gowns. My mom immediately picked the second gown she tried on and absolutely loves her gown. My future MIL is deciding between two gowns but everyone that assisted our parents was patient and professional. I will definitely be returning for future purchases and recommending you to everyone I know that is getting married. Thank you! read more

Yesterday was the scond time i visited Lotus bridal and have chosen my bridal gown. My firat visit was last week when i showed up without an appointment and was not turned away but accommodated. My consultant was Sydney who was amazing, very patient, honest and outgoing. I tried on about 8 gowns on my firat visit but couldn't make up my mind. I was not pressured into any purchases, just provided with delivery dates and prices. So i decided to come back a week later. On my second visit i had 4 previous gowns to retry and decided to go in a totally different direction, which was not an issue. Sydney found several gowns for me to try and i was able to make my decision. Beautiful shop which is able to cater to plus sizes with a huge selection. Really enjoyed my experience read more

I loved my experience at Lotus Bridal in Brooklyn. The shop is small and only a few brides can be there at once, which is a great for an intimate experience. My stylist, Sydney, was phenomenal to work with. We walked the floor together at first and then as I tried on each dress, she patiently asked questions to figure out what I liked/didn't like and adjusted as needed. In the end, I found THE dress - and it was on a day I wasn't even in the mood to go shopping. I highly recommend Lotus Bridal! read more
