Nazarela Bridal made me the most beautiful dress I have ever seen and I couldn't be happier with Natalia's brilliant work. She is fantastic at every step of the way---from the design to the fittings to the final piece. She's extremely helpful in answering questions and giving exactly what you want. She wants to make you happy with your dress! I wanted my dress to have a "medieval princess" quality about it and this is exactly what I got. She's an incredible designer and custom-makes the dress! The stitch-work is flawless. I got so many compliments on my wedding dress. Guests told me it was the best they'd ever seen. I can't recommend this company enough.

Beautifully designed and hand-made garments ---- When I started looking for someone to help me restore and possibly redesign my mother's wedding dress from the 1970's, I was lost. Luckily, I was put in contact with a small woman-owned business in Brooklyn, Nazarela. Natalia, the owner, was incredible to work with. I had a basic drawing of how I wanted the final dress to look like and she took it away and worked diligently for a couple of months. We had three fittings and I was able to bring my bridesmaid, my mother-in-law, and even Skype with my mom and grandmother (who originally designed and sewed the dress)! I was very happy with the lace work Natalia did on the top of the dress and throughout the bottom trim. She also matched these lace flowers with hand-sewn lace in the custom-made veil. And, what a beauty that veil was! Thank you Natalia for making everything about my dress and veil so special!

This was the first and last place I looked for a wedding dress. Natalia is amazing...she'll take the time to sit and listen to what you're looking for and bring you styles you thought you might not choose that are super flattering for your figure. The dress I ended up getting was not one of my preferences when I went into the fitting room, I got so many compliments on it, and still do when people see pictures!

We also had Natalia make our flower girl dresses with the same fabric as my dress as a nice little extra touch!

My daughter needed a prom dress but with three weeks until prom, we weren't able to custom order. We found both a prom gown and a graduation dress and purchased off the rack. Yvonne, the proprietor, made the alterations and delivered the perfectly fitted dresses in under two weeks. She also made Covid masks that perfectly match the dresses. We are over the moon happy with our purchases and with the gold standard service we received. What a treasure this shop is. UPDATE: Today, the day of my daughters prom, we realized that the hook that aligns with the bustle was missing. Frantically I left a message for Yvonne and she got back to me immediately. With her calm demeanor, she told me to come right in with the dress and she would make the alteration on the spot. It took under 15 minutes and the dress is now perfect. How many stores give this level of service? And all with a smile. Can't wait to lose weight so I can shop Kimera for myself!

I looked all over and even had the chance to do it overseas in different ways; through someone who does wear them sometimes and even through my in laws. However, I rather chose someone local as I wanted to be able to try, adjust and make changes on my dress until I had the perfect one. I found Kimera design through Yelp and a trusted yelper and decided to go check it out. The store itself is beautiful. Filled up with amazing taste and originality. I was looking for a qipao but I was equally impressed by her gowns styles. These are simple but so beautifully crafted, designed and fitting to a woman body in combination with the most delicate silk fabrics in different colors that I just can't imagine you will be disappointed. Kimera's experience is extremely personal and dedicated to your needs and wishes. She's got ideas, talent, excellent suggestions and planing ahead. I love how respectful towards what you want she is, tho she will suggest improvements accordingly. After all, this is all about you girl. You should not let anybody to shape what you wish. For my dress we had 5 sessions from design and fitting until it was ready to pick up. I also wanted an special fabric after she showed me some samples. Such a beautiful glowing silk fabric with a delicate cherry blossoms pattern. I loved it and she was able to get it for me. Not only the bride can find her perfect dress but she's got plethora of styles for bridesmaids, mother of the bride, a guest or simply that dress for any other occasion in addition to weddings. My cheongsam not only is unique and a combination of ideas between the both of us, but beyond perfection. She made my dream dress become a reality for the most special day of my life. Girl, that's what we all look for and I can't recommend enough Kimera's designs. Whether you go exotic or traditional go and check it out. I can anticipate many will give it a try.

Some of the problems were obvious and others were hard to pinpoint, but the effect was a mishmash. My daughter called Susan and after several reassuring texts, made an appointment to come into The Wedding Dresser. From the get-go Susan understood what was wrong & how to fix it. Her team went to work. The dress was how it should have been - masterful work, a talented team, and able to pull it all off in record time!

I asked to stop the alterations because I could not afford to move forward. Susan said no problem and that the hem was done. When I picked up my dress, the hem was not finished, only the inner layers of the dress had been hemmed and they'd been hemmed WRONG! They were ascending rather than descending. This incorrect hem cost me $750 (1/2 of the total which is very high pricing!) but because I did not have an itemized receipt (though I asked for one) that price shocked me. The top layer was the shortest and they got longer from there so they were ascending rather than descending which is not how I brought the dress in or how wedding dresses are supposed to be hemmed. I called Susan, assuming it had to be a mistake, but she refused to fix her mistake. I found a seamstress to complete all alterations for 1/8 of the price. Susan had google remove my review threatening to sue me for defamation and extortion but I don't want her money, nor did I ever threaten her or lie. I just don't want others to have the experience I had. Google is biased and sides with business often. Customer service is all I ever asked for and wanted, a simple apology, any kind of offer to adjust the incorrect hem would have been more than enough.

I want to preface my review by saying that I booked one of the first appointments of the day during the week so the salon was not busy. I can't speak to the weekend experience. A few weeks prior to my appointment I received an email from Ronnie, one of the salons owners inviting me to have a call with Brooke, the Director of Client Experience. Brooke called me about a week before my appointment and we went over my budget, what I was looking for in a dress, and details about my wedding. She also went through the process with me of using my online account to "love" dresses so my stylist could have an idea of what I was looking for in a dress. On the day of my appointment I arrived with two bridesmaids and we sat in the lobby until we met Candace and Jen who was assisting her. I was brought back into the dressing room and we went over styles I might like, budget and details about my wedding. She also wanted to know where I was in the dress shopping process to see whether I was still getting a feel for different styles. She pulled a number of dresses that were the style I wanted and within budget. The only dress I tried on outside of my budget was one hanging on the rack that caught one of my bridesmaids eyes. I had my own pedestal because the place was not busy and Candace and Jen were great at listening to my likes and dislikes. I ended up saying "yes to the dress," and I'm overall thrilled with the end result and my experience with Kleinfeld throughout the entire process.

Of all the wedding dress shops I've visited, Wedding Atelier had by far the most rules. Absolutely no video, limited pictures of only select gowns, no beverage (we couldn't bring Prosecco), no shoes (I get this), meant to pick dresses of only 1 cut style.... I totally understand the need to have rules because people can abuse the system. But for a bride coming in to spend money, it seemed a little excessive and unwelcoming. The service was very nice, it didn't feel overly salesy. They did immediately set boundaries with the number of dresses to try and made firm recommendations that we needed to stick to one dress type only. Overall, it's a nice gown shop with a good selection. It was very busy the day we went, so appointments in advance are necessary.
