Incredible experience finding my dress at this lovely bridal studio. Luke was my stylist and he was so helpful but also so respectful giving me and my guest space to view the dresses on our own. You can tell each dress is so thoughtfully designed/made- the details are truly stunning! Fantastic experience. My dress was sadly discontinued but I reached out and luckily my order was able to be made since I just made the cut off. Trying to determine the size online was a challenge and I could have still gone up a couple of sizes. I would recommend sizing up by 2 sizes for before Sarah dresses. I loved my dress. This was one of the several stores I visited in pursuit of my gown because I'm a fan on the minimalistic and appealingly effortless design. After being buzzed in, you take an elevator up and step into a beautifully designed and curated studio like space. I was greeted by a kind woman who made me feel welcome. She asked me what I liked about their brand, which dresses in the collection I've had my eyes on, and which other stores I visited. With all of this information, she selected approximately 4-5 dresses for me to try on. I did enjoy one or two but was unfortunately underwhelmed. I thought maybe I would consider using one of the dresses I tried on as a second dress look. Of note, every other store I visited either followed up with me via email or phone call. Or some places even gave me their business card with dresses I tried on and their prices. I never received any type of follow up from this store. I understand it is not necessary, but it may have made me feel more desired as a customer and would show me that they actually cared to help me find my dream dress. Perhaps I would be more inclined to return for that second dress look. I would recommend this brand for someone who truly treasures that simple, dressed down, yet clean look. Incredible experience here with Matthew recently, who helped me find my dress. The space was beautiful, very well kept and comfortable. We had so much room to ourselves - a ton of space for my family and friends to sit and relax. Matthew brought everyone water and wine and I had a pre-appointment call a couple days prior to my appointment to go over what I was looking for and my favorite styles. Matthew asked which style I was most excited to try on first and we went from there. He was quick and helpful in getting me in and out of the gowns without me feeling rushed at all. I tried on a ton of styles and he was so accommodating, friendly and fun to work with. He also made sure they were secure so it was easy for me to envision what the gowns would look like/how they would fit properly on my wedding day. He let me try on veils with any style of gown I wanted and he made sure to fluff the dresses and veils to get the full effect. The pedestal is in front of an enormous mirror and the lighting in Sarah Seven is incredible so any pictures we took came out looking amazing. Matthew was thorough and thoughtful about communicating the contract and alteration process when I chose my dress, and gave me such a cute goodie bag to take home. I had such a good experience at Sarah Seven that I don't know where to start. I'm having a bit of a non traditional wedding (Las Vegas/Drive thru wedding/Elvis, etc). I went to a few shops before Sarah Seven and the dress consultants ranged from hardly hiding their disdain to missing my vision entirely. From the minute De texted me to confirm my appointment I knew Sarah Seven would be a different experience. The space is beautiful, the consultants are somehow straight shooters while also being hype women, and it's hard for me to imagine somebody not being able to find a dress they love. Plus, I love the brand entirely. Follow them on Instagram, get excited, and find your dress. I was so comfortable there and loved all of the women in the shop so much that I wanted to buy another dress just to have an excuse to hang out with them! read more

I loved every part of my experience at Sarah Seven in SoHo. I worked with Sahara, who was absolutely amazing. She was kind, thoughtful, and listened to what I was looking for. I also really appreciated that I was able to work with someone who had a similar body type to mine, which is something I actually had been quite nervous about leading up to my dress try-on experience! I said "heck yes!" to Belmont. The shop is gorgeous and intimate, there are no intimidation tactics or additional stressors put on you to try something on or to buy. The dresses are of amazing quality, and for bridal, very reasonably priced in my opinion. I also really appreciate that I'll be able to also do all my tailoring in-house, so I won't have hunt down someone who will do a good job with my dress. If you love gowns with clean lines and want to work with women who will hype you up in all the right ways to find "the one", there is no better place to go! read more

Terrible customer service. Ordered a dress from the before line that said it was in stock to then find out it was not in stock and wouldn't be here by the date I needed it. Took several emails, phone calls, and text messages to even find out if the dress was in stock and able to ship when the website said it was going to ship. When I finally got someone to answer me they just had me re-state everything i had said in my multiple messages and told me they'd get back to me. Took many of follow ups to actually get an actual definitive answer. They never apologized for the mixed messaging or inconvenience this caused. Very unprofessional. The only positive is that they refunded me. I had another dress in mind but never got an answer on if that would actually ship by the date their website said and after following up once about it I just gave up and never got an answer. My original dress by another designer was ruined beyond repair and I couldn't chance my timeline by having them ship a brand new dress and go through the whole alterations process. I emailed Sarah Seven in the middle of the night on a Sunday and got a response! De helped me choose, fit and alter a dress in about a month. Which if you know wedding dress timelines, this was insane. My dress was honestly the most perfectly fitted, beautfully made and best experience I had during my whole wedding experience. Thank you for very thorough response to my review and for trying to single me out or make it seem like I have a personal vendetta against this company, which I don't. I, like a lot of brides, wanted to purchase a dress from a small, woman owned business. However, it is strange to me that any type of criticism taken against your brand warrants such a sarcastic response. If there way a better way for me to communicate my dissatisfaction, I would take that route. If you wanted to have a conversation about the specifics of my situation and what drove me to be an unhappy customer, I am happy to have that conversation and delete this review. But the fact is that there's no way for me to, as a customer, voice out dissatisfaction because the emails/social media messaging never warranted an honest conversation. I have written tons of emails and messages to your team asking about all the various ways I could gauge if one of your dresses would fit me. I personally couldn't afford to spend that much on a dress with no guarantee that I'd be losing money, if it didn't fit, if it looked terrible on my non skinny body. You don't offer virtual try ons. You don't offer exchanges on sizes. You don't have any images or videos of what your dress may look like on a curvier type of woman. It is still clear to me that you cater to only 1 type of aesthetic; not women like me. And that's fine, but to respond to customers this way is very disheartening to see. Like I said, I am happy to take down this review as I'm sure it doesn't paint the full picture of what your company can do. But I would at least like to be spoken to with some compassion and respect during this terrible time as well. read more

I booked an appointment here to see dresses, they initially confirmed by email but apparently I was expected to double confirm. I missed the email and they called me at a wrong phone number. They canceled my appointment 15 hours before and I didn't have time to check my email the night before. Regardless of who's fault that was, I showed up to the studio without knowing and the receptionist on Saturday March 30th of 2024 was the rudest woman I have ever talked to. I explained to her I missed the email and asked her if there was any way we could come up since my mother and mother in law traveled to New York for this. She was so condescending, she dismissed me and hung up on me while I was still speaking. The attitude was unforgivable and Sarah Seven should definitely consider hiring people with manners. read more

I received the dress delivered at my home and was disappointed because it arrived folded and scrunched in a very large box which too big for the garments size, so it shifted around while in transit and arrived bunched in a ball. In addition to unsafe shipping packaging, in terms of branding, it arrived in a plain cardboard box - without tissue paper, nor a note. It arrived in a branded garment bag with sloppy handwriting in sharpie safety-pinned to it. Nothing that matched the nice elevated nature of the overall Sarah Seven brand. They have a huge opportunity to improve and elevate their packaging and delivery set up. In summary, it was not well-packaged for safety and the experience opening it was super lame! Sarah Seven is such a unique and special brand. My experience there was amazing and the service is second to none. I wasn't rushed at all and was able to take my time trying on dresses. Every single person to works there is nice, polite and experienced. My appointments were with Sahara. She was the best! She brought me dresses that she knew would flatter my body type while also listening to what I was looking for. I went to one other bridal boutique and my experience there was just not comparable to Sarah Seven at all. I ended up purchasing the Margherita dress and I don't think I could have found anything else that was more perfect for me. The alternations process was also incredibly easy and stress free. I loved that I was able to custom order a different size top and bottom so minimize the amount of alternations that I needed. After 2 days of gown hunting and this being our last stop - we were pretty tired but Kaitlyn brought the positive vibes. Highlights: 1) The IG vs reality is on point; I absolutely loved the gowns from SS's IG account and when I saw them in person, I was not disappointed 2) Relaxed and intimate space where you can feel comfortable and in your zone (without 5+ other appointments / groups distractions) 3) Gorgeous and unique gowns (beautiful styles I had not seen at the other appointments I went to) 4) Sincere, helpful and enthusiastic staff - if you're not feeling it, they adjust and keep the momentum going. Kaitlyn listened to all I was looking for and came through. She was optimistic, energetic and honest in her opinion + she offered her own suggestions which I loved! What I appreciated most was Kaitlyn was not pressuring me to make a decision during or after the appointment.
