If you're trying on dresses in the City, you MUST add them to your list. The space is beautiful, extremely organized, and very well cared for. They even have you remove your shoes, which speaks to how clean and thoughtfully maintained everything is. There is plenty of room for brides and their guests, and the large mirrors make it easy to really see each dress from every angle. They have a large selection of dresses in different styles, and a very large selection of veils and accessories. I felt the dresses were the extremely clean compared to some other bridal salons. My appointment felt very personalized from start to finish. Charlotte, my bridal stylist, was absolutely wonderful!! She made me feel comfortable right away and was so easy to talk to and work with. She gave thoughtful advice, asked great questions to help narrow down what I was looking for, and was able to find additional dresses that matched my style really well. She even found one of my favorite dresses of the entire process. She explained how the dress could be customized and helped show me what a strapless version would look like. Charlotte also went above and beyond by helping take photos and videos from all angles so I could really see what each dress looked like. She even took a video of me walking around in my favorite dress, which was so helpful. Her communication was excellent throughout, and I really appreciated how attentive, kind, and knowledgeable she was. She knew so many details about the dresses and what customizations were possible. She followed-up with a detailed email on what next steps would look like, and I didn't feel pressure to purchase a dress on the spot. Wedsing Atelier is also Suzanne Neville's authorized flagship store in the US, and those dresses are extremely high quality and have such a secure internal corset. Highly recommend trying them on. Overall, I had such a great experience at Wedding Atelier and would HIGHLY recommend it to any bride looking for a clean, organized, beautiful boutique with a truly personalized experience!

The cups that were sewn in were two sizes too small, causing my bust to bulge out of the dress. The underwire cut into my chest, pushing one breast to the right and the other upward. With every fitting, the situation got worse rather than better -- leaving me in tears with my wedding only a week away. I ultimately had to take the dress to another seamstress just to salvage it. To make matters worse, after three fittings, they had not even completed a hem. Wedding Atelier charged $1,300 for alterations -- payment required at the time of purchase -- and refused to refund a single dollar despite the damage they caused. The owner, Carrie, was completely unsympathetic and unwilling to take any accountability for what happened. She is unethical,. If you want to protect yourself from unnecessary heartache and stress in the lead-up to your wedding day, I strongly urge you to take your business elsewhere.

The fitting "area" didn't have a mirror so note it's more challenging to closely inspect the dress on your own. Definitely overpriced for very limited selection, which lacked variety. Was surprised that samples were often only priced maybe $500 off the "original price" (questionable if the listed original prices were even accurate, seems inflated, so hardly any cost savings). Many of the dresses were barely more than 20% off, most lower. They do have a small selection (1 rack) of plus sized dresses, although I didn't look through them but something to consider if you fall into that size range. Most of the dress sizes in bridal sizes 8-12, which had several racks. Hastily purchased a gown that I do regret. Note their policy of final sale, no exchanges. They do not take walk ins, but I called day of and received a same day appointment. I guess if you're desperate for a last minute dress with not many options, this places fills a role as you may find something to settle on. Apparently they have independent tailors they work with in store who they claim can quickly do last minute alterations as well but I cannot speak to the quality of said work and I see reviews questioning the quality. I also noticed they handle sales tax in an unusual way, which others may want to be aware of. Wouldn't say this is worth including in your journey to finding a gown in NYC unless you've run out of options.

I did end up finding my dress, which I didn't expect to because the dress that I ended up buying was VERY different than what I came in wanting (sounds like an episode of the show, am I right?) but it was the perfect dress for me. There is a huge variety of styles, designers, and options, which is great if you want to try on a wide range of dresses in one appointment. That said, the overall experience felt much less personal than some of the other bridal salons I visited in New York City. It felt a bit like a factory of brides, with a giant room where many brides are trying on dresses at the same time. The mirrors were also surprisingly small and free-standing, and I felt very close up to them, which made it hard to really see myself clearly in the dresses. I also would have liked to step off the podium more to see how the dresses looked naturally, but my stylist seemed to prefer that I stay on it (and of course dresses tend to look better when you're elevated on a podium). The selection is definitely a major strength, and I understand why Kleinfeld is so well known. However, there are other bridal salons in New York City that feel much more personalized, spacious, non-judgmental, and relaxed. I also noticed that some of the stylists standing around elsewhere came across as judgmental, which took away from the overall atmosphere a bit. Overall, I'm still giving 5 stars because of the dress variety and the iconic experience, but I would say brides should go in knowing that it may feel less intimate and personalized than other boutiques in the city. I went on a weekday to avoid paying for the experience. I'd recommend others do the same, as I don't think the fee is worth it. My stylist also was the least knowledgable about dresses compared to other salons.

For…read moresome background, I'm kind of introverted, and I'm not comfortable being the center of attention. So the whole bride thing makes me a little anxious. On top of that, this is my second marriage, and I come from a pretty conservative family. I was looking for a nontraditional gown for my small, intimate wedding. My fiancé and I planned our wedding pretty quickly, and I started to realize I'd have to choose a gown quickly too, so there would be enough time to have it tailored, etc. I was panicking about it one night, trying to figure out where to go, what to wear. The idea of going to some big commercial dress shop and buying into the whole wedding business just grossed me out. My fiancé saw me worrying and decided to help me, searching for where I could go to get a "different" type of gown. One of the first places he found in a google search was Shareen's shop. I looked at some photos and emailed her that night. The next morning I had a response, and that afternoon I had an appointment in the shop. Shareen is warm, friendly and welcoming. It was SUCH a relief to immediately feel at ease, when other places just made me feel uncomfortable and out of place. She asked me a few questions to get a sense of my style, then immediately pulled out a bunch of dresses and started trying them on me. I loved all of them. They are delicate, beautiful, and make you feel wonderful. On top of that, Shareen designs all of her gowns, so she knew what would flatter my body type. The other shop I tried was much more commercial, and I felt like all the dresses were designed for willowy model types. Shareen's dresses made me feel beautiful and feminine, and not self-conscious. I liked 2 on my first visit, then returned a few days later with my mom and my close friend. They liked the same ones but weren't completely sold on them. On a whim, Shareen grabbed another dress (something I definitely wouldn't have tried on my own, and boom, it was the one. The buying experience was perfect. Because she designs all the dresses, Shareen can tweak them to fit your individual body. For instance, I have Cuban hips, and need a little more room, so she combined two sizes of dresses- one for the bodice, and one for the bottom part. The slip was altered so the straps were slightly wider (so I can wear a bra), and slightly higher in the middle (it plunged a little too much for me at first). NO commercial bridal shop will do this for you and include it in the cost of the dress. I had multiple fittings, and she made sure that every last detail was perfect. My dress is so lovely, I can't wait to wear it. Bottom line, if you are a nontraditional (or self-conscious) bride like me, Shareen is your shop. She is sweet, helpful, and a perfectionist. You will leave her shop feeling affirmed, and well cared for. I actually cried my eyes out when I picked up my dress today. I don't usually get emotional over anything wedding-related, but I had such a great experience, I will really miss my appointments at Shareen's shop now that we are done. I will definitely keep in touch, and next time I need a gown for an event, I have my eye on a beautiful red gown she has in the shop...

I booked an appointment for 5 Pm on a Friday, and from the moment I walked in, I was so impressed by the space. It is extremely large, clean, and beautifully decorated. They have two completely separate, huge rooms, so you are in total privacy from any other bride, which made the appointment feel really personal and calm. It was by far the largest room I had been in at any bridal salon in New York City. The guest area was also beautiful, with a large, gorgeous couch, and the actual fitting room was huge (definitely the most space I had anywhere while trying on dresses). My stylist was Sylvia, and she was absolutely amazing. She knew the dresses inside and out, answered all of my questions immediately, and seemed to know exactly which dresses I would want to try on. She was extremely personable and gave the perfect amount of space for me to figure out what I liked about each dress, while also offering helpful suggestions and options for what could be changed. I ended up wanting to personalize a dress with detachable sleeves and a non-sparkle lace, and Sylvia knew all of the customization options perfectly. She showed me exactly what the changes could look like and even brought out the identical lace without sparkles so I could really visualize it. She was so patient with me and handled everything perfectly, offering suggestions without ever being overbearing or pushy. She let me walk around in the dress, sit down, and do various poses. I really love many of their dresses as they have the corset back, making them so secure and giving breathability. They have so many incredible dresses with different styles, so it truly is a great place to find a dress. I later came back for a "say yes" appointment with some of my bridesmaids as I was between two dresses, and unfortunately Sylvia wasn't there. However, Hafsa was there and was just as wonderful. She answered so many questions I had about the boning, personalization, timeline, bustle, etc. I ended up saying yes to the dress, and the team was very patient while answering all of my questions about shipping, timing, alterations, etc and letting me read through the entire contract. I had seen some reviews mentioning concerns about the post-purchase experience, so I was a little nervous after purchasing, especially because I had questions about the sleeves and customized lace. However, when I emailed them, they responded very quickly and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I'm happy to update this review as the process continues, but so far WONA has been incredible! The space, the dresses, the privacy, the customization options, and most of all the stylists made this such a special and positive experience!

The consultant we had to assigned to us had zero suggestions and had no interest in assisting us or making the sale. The dresses were very, very dirty. We paid to see the dresses from the trunk show, the shop was not interested in showing us dresses from the trunk show. The consultant pinned the dresses (instead of clipped) which meant they did not stay in and hurt the bride to be. We were not even offered water, this is NYC in mid summer. We tried three dresses and we could not get out faster and get a drink to recover from this experience. We had this as our last venue because we thought this would be where we bought. We had a sizable budget but will buy from Danielle Frankel or Mark Ingram, they seemed to understand the bridal experience.

After taking a quick look at me, he immediately pulled the Isabella dress, and said I had to try it on. It was the first dress I tried on there, and when I looked in the mirror I could barely believe my eyes. I had never felt more beautiful. I felt like a classic Hollywood actress who belonged on the red carpet. I tried on more dresses. Though each of them impressed me, none cast the same spell as Isabella. Every girl deserves to have her moment- when the entire world stops and all eyes are on her. Nathan gives you that moment. He makes you feel like the star you truly are. Of course, none of this would be possible without Leanne Marshall's vision. I have since tried on other dresses I hoped would compare to hers, but no one else makes them the way she does. She understands what is most flattering on a woman's body, and it's the subtle but very important details she pays attention to that make a world of difference. Her dresses immediately make me feel like I have lost ten pounds! That's pretty magical if you ask me. The location is so cozy and chic -- we were treated to some bubbly to toast the decision! I also really appreciated their flexibility to let me come back the next day to try on the dress one more time after checking out another designer. I had an INCREDIBLE experience working with the New York salon. I am not local to the area so I communicated with the Bridal Consultants entirely by email. I had a bit of trepidation ordering online (and considering a "made to order" item). I can't say enough how incredible their customer service is! Initially I had a couple questions, which they responded to promptly and warmly. Feeling encouraged by the information given and their responsive and personable communication, I prepared my order about one month later and submitted the necessary forms by email. Again they responded quickly and courteously. Unfortunately one style was discontinued but after communicating again with the fabulous Consultant Nadra, she was able to (VERY quickly!) locate a sample of the item in my size! And for a great, great price since it was a discontinued sample! I don't know if Nadra works exclusively with online customers/orders, but I highly recommend her. She was a complete joy to work with and even through email, a bright ray of sunshine. I felt as though she genuinely shared the joy of my experience and TRULY wanted to do everything in her power to make it happen. I imagine she's even more amazing in person! (Other employees whom I also received warm & courteous service from: Sales Consultant Sophia -who answered my initially inquiries- and Showroom Manager Chelsea). Today (only TWO DAYS later!) I received the sample item, and oh, my lord, I am completely beside myself with pure elation. The package was well-sealed and neatly packed; my dress was enclosed in a protective plastic protective slip cover w/ hanger and it is PERFECT. Beautiful condition from what I could see and absolutely stunning. I am more excited than ever for my big day when I can finally wear this! Jenny Yoo NYC was one of the greatest ordering experiences I have ever had. I expected it would very different - less personable, not fast or efficient, etc. That's been my experience with many other salons/retailers, at least. That it's probably very stressful during this busy season, makes it all the more impressive- I thank them for making me feel like a highly-valued customer! First thing, I absolutely loved the dress I tried on and would have bought it in a heartbeat. However, the ordering process for both my gown and my bridesmaid's dress is so ridiculous I'm amazed these salespeople haven't been shouted at more often. My gown: The floor only stocks four sizes, meaning I had to try an 8 even though I'm a 6. Fine, I understand they can't have every size. The sales lady estimated I'm between an 8 and a 6 for the dress and recommended ordering a 6. Minor detail that she didn't really bother mentioning until we explicitly asked: all purchases are final sales. It's one thing not to have every size in the store, but it's another to not exchange a NON-CUSTOM dress because you estimated the size wrong. Also, a four month lead time is ridiculous and with no alterations done in-store, makes the dress time line really risky. Bridesmaid's dress: My bridesmaid loved her dress and justifiably so. However, the sample she loved had no tag on, and the store had no similar dress to figure out the correct size. Based on the scientifically-accurate claim that "it looks like a 10," my bridesmaid has to order a large dress even though she normally wears a 6 just so she doesn't risk ordering a too-small dress she can't exchange. Accessories: Bridal dress cost peak around $1,100, but the beaded belts cost $500. I can imagine spending that much on a sash if my dress costs $5K, but the showroom's pricing is so disproportionate to its offerings. What bride would spend 50% of her gown cost on a small beaded belt you can get in Chinatown? Summary: This is possibly the worst showroom I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot) in terms of organization and ordering. Jenny Yoo might have nice dresses, but do you really want to wait two months before your wedding just to see a non-altered gown? Order at your own risk. read more

"Dress from hell" "I hate the way it looks on me" "Customer Service was horrific" - Every Bridesmaid This could have easily been my experience as a bridesmaid had it not been for Ellen Frost at Jenny Yoo. Without a doubt she single handedly saved my friendship, wallet, and sanity. I contacted Jenny Yoo after receiving the dress I ordered and it was three sizes too big. After speaking to the seamstress she told me she could not alter the dress without compromising the integrity of the dress. Perfect. The wedding was in two weeks, out of state, and I currently had a dress that didn't fit. I was certain the bride would be furious with me and our friendship a thing of the past. I emailed explaining my predicament, not expecting a response, and was pleasantly surprised when I received a phone call from Ellen within an hour of shooting the email off. Not only was Ellen polite, friendly, and helpful she reassured me that I had nothing to worry about! They would make sure I had a dress that fit in time for the wedding. And that she did, not only did I receive a new dress, it was delivered so quickly I was able to get it altered before I flew out the next week! Without Ellen my experience would have been a disaster! The dress fit perfectly and I received tons of compliments on how beautiful it looked. The bride had no idea about the dress catastrophe and the night was truly memorable! Went to Jenny Yoo this past weekend with 3 of my 6 bridesmaids at their NYC location. I was skeptical at first with mixed reviews on various sites, but upon arriving at their salon, I was pleasantly suprised to find a huge selection of bridesmaid dresses and colors to choose from. I had visited a few other salons that day and I have to say that I had overall the best experience out of the 4 salons. Their staff was extremely helpful and offered many suggestions. We were greeted by a lovely woman at the front door who checked us in and introduced us to our sales consultant that would be helping us. Our sales consultant was really friendly, laidback, and helpful. She didn't give us a high sales pitch that I find annoying in some stores. The salon was a little chaotic with other appointments going on , but organized and controlled. Our sales consultant provided us with a folder at the end of our appointment with detailed list of all the dresses we liked along with pricing and fabric swatches. The only negative I have to add is that it is hard to get an appointment. I was put on a waiting list a couple weeks ago, but was lucky enough to get one this past weekend. In the end it was worth our trip there. We left not being able to narrow down to our favorite choices. There were too many great options, it left us confused. I guess that is a good problem to have. We made another appointment to come back in a couple weeks. Anyway, I highly recommend Jenny Yoo Collection based on my personal experience. read more

My bridesmaids just received their Pheobe Imperial Violet bridesmaid dresses last week and they look awesome! I had 5 bridesmaids, and a couple of them fit the dresses perfectly and a few of them just need some minor alterations. I was so happy that my bridesmaids liked their dresses enough to wear it again after the wedding. Originally we were going to go with J. Crew dresses, and I am so glad we didn't. Although J. Crew had some really cute styles and the prices being comparable, the quality at Jenny Yoo was far superior and color choices were much more extensive. They had an extensive selection of styles to choose from. I loved how they gave us a folder at the end of our appointment that detailed our favorite selection, prices, and color swatches. This was really helpful and kept me organized as I planned the other details of my wedding. They even let you take pictures which I really appreciated as it was rare that any of the other stores would allow that. The sales staff at Jenny Yoo were very helpful, friendly, and attentive with out being overly pushy. I really appreciated their laid back approach. They were organized and made the entire process very easy and pleasant. Furthermore, we had a great experience with all 4 trips there. The sales staff here was extremely patient. My experience with Jenny Yoo has been above and beyond wonderful. The staff is extremely friendly, patient, and accommodating. I recently had purchased a bridesmaid dress for a fall wedding. Unfortunately upon arrival the dress did not fit my body type (there's been some weight shifting going on for all those ladies who can relate!) With hesitance I sent an email to the company hoping for any suggestions they could provide. Wendy immediately responded, with both questions and concerns. She requested photo's, and for me to come into the store with my dress too see what we could do to. Not only did she present me with multiple solutions (hemming here and there, trying on different dress sizes with the same style fit) we ultimately decided the cut was just not for me. Wendy pulled a rabbit out of a hat and found a dress in the same color family as the rest of the party in a cut that fit and more importantly, I felt comfortable in. With a quick swamp I was suddenly reassured and incredibly grateful for her attentive assistance. She was an essential part of the Jenny Yoo experience - sympathetic, understanding, compassionate and a pleasure to work with. Working with Catherine R. at Jenny Yoo was amazing. She made the whole process finding my wedding dress such a breeze after having a discouraging experience at another bridal salon. She made me feel comfortable and really listened to what I wanted without pressuring me into buying anything knowing that I had another appointment that day at another salon. While I pretty much knew I was going to get a gown from Jenny Yoo after my appointment that day I still went to the other salon just to see. However I was so disappointed with the quality of gowns and the level of service I called Catherine right after and I was able to purchase a gown from her over the phone at a discounted price, which I thought was very nice to offer. Since I live out of state Catherine even emailed me several seamstresses in my state and near by states that she recommended. The dress came in plenty of time before my wedding for me to get it tailored to exactly my size and I received so many compliments on it. I had a great experience with Jenny Yoo. They are friendly and organized and their sample dresses are in good condition. Every time I go to Bella Bridesmaids I have a horrible experience. Jenny Yoo is the complete opposite. I ordered 4 bridesmaid dresses well in advance of my wedding date. When they finally arrived, my Fiance BY ACCIDENT threw them in the trash...I know how ridiculous this sounds. After 24 hours of crying, I went to Jenny Yoo when they opened the next day and explained my story. Liz was very caring and helpful with my situation and immediately looked into ordering new dresses considering my wedding was only 2 months away. Liz waved the rush fee for each dress, gave me 30% off and waved the shipping fee. They will arrive one month before my wedding in time for my bridesmaids to make alterations. I couldn't have asked for a better experience after a horrible/emotional circumstance. I would highly suggest picking out bridesmaid dresses here rather than the other locations in NYC. I had two unpleasant experiences at Jenny Yoo. The first time I came here I was looking for wedding dresses for myself. My stylist was incredibly rude and impatient. She rushed me in and out of every dress and cut the appointment off after I didn't like the first 5 dresses I tried on. My grandmother, mother, and aunt attended the appointment with me and were all extremely turned off by the experience here. This was by far the worst customer service of all the salons we went to visit that day. The second time I came I was looking for bridesmaid dresses. I had a 30 minute appointment because I had to get back to work. I wasn't helped until 20 minutes into the appointment. I really liked the bridesmaids dresses but I won't be purchasing from here because I don't trust that it will be a smooth experience and I have found that customer service is not a priority here. read more

I live in Scotland Great Britain and seen the annabelle dresses online not very many places stick them in Britain! I decided I loved them that much I was just going to order them for my 3 bridesmaids! They gave me a note on how to take measurements etc which I did and sent to them! After several emails back and forth I finally ordered them! After 16 weeks cause the had to be made the arrived They are absolutely perfect in every way? The lady who emailed me suggested what sizes to go for and although I thought they would be massive I went with what the suggested! But when they came they couldn't have fit any better! I bought all the dresses for my bridesmaids and my bridal shower outfit there and loved the whole experience. Wendy was such a lovely person to work with and a great spirit through the whole planning process dealing with me changing my whole bridesmaids order, because I changed my mind about the color a few days later. The girls were all measured in the store. 2 of them still have to get it a little bit tailored so for some I would recommend to order a size down as the Annabelle dresses tend to run slightly bigger, but all that I had ordered fit perfectly after Wendy had measured me! This rating is for bridal consultant Catherine R. She was knowledgeable about the fit of every dress specific to different body types and very familiar with the brand's fabrics and colors. When Catherine found out several months later that the dress I loved most was being discontinued, she immediately followed up with me with a phone call to let me know. I was able to let my maids know that had not purchased their dresses to do so immediately or we'd be SOL. As someone who has been in customer service and retail management for over 10 years, this was really appreciated and I know she went beyond the scope of a consultant's job duties. I had a lovely experience at Jenny Yoo this past weekend. Wendy was an absolute joy to work with and she really listened to what I was looking for, and made personalized recommendations. The store is beautifully laid out and the dresses were well-organized and well-made. They also have a huge variety of accessories available to try on with any dress, so you can get a better idea of what it would look like with a veil, a headpiece, or a belt. I went for a bridal fitting at Jenny Yoo collection and had the best experience ever! I was nervous due to COVID-19 but the store was clean, they followed all guidelines and the staff was out of this world. My daughter tried on one of her gowns and was brought to tears. She turned to me and said, "mom, this is it". She looked stunning. The dress was a combination of color, layers and flair. My daughter looked like a princess on her most special day. Everyone kept commenting on the quality and beauty of the dress. Carol is an artist. This is not a "mill" where you pick something from a rack, overpay and order your size. This is a professional designer sharing her vision and, ultimately, adorning you with exactly what you envision together. If I sound like Im gushing, it's because I am. We were so comfortable with Carol and her staff, and she made the process seamless. (pun intended!). we had to have the dress made and then shipped to California for alterations. Joanna listened to my desires, was respectful of my budget and was very patient. They do NOT allow photographs here. I have a memory of a goldfish and as soon as I take the dress off, I no longer remember what it looks like. It is really difficult to dress shop like this and I thought I could do it despite knowing that photos were not allowed and I was wrong. So if this is important to you, you can stop reading the other reviews and just not come. If you do not care, then I would say Joanna is sweet and the space is lovely. It is a one bride only appointment and though it is not the vastness of other bridal salons, it is spacious and clean and there are definitely a variety of dresses to try from. Joanna tries is realistic about helping you find your dress with your budget and with the criteria you give her. She definitely listens to feedback. Just come prepared! There is a $50 cancellation fee (which I think is a bit annoying honestly), life happens and you can't control it and she has a hold of your credit card. Another thing to note is that there is no flat fee for alterations for dresses here. She says that starting alterations for dresses are $600. That is not true. It really depends on what you need done, and you can check with other salons and other alterations services to get a much better price. If you're starting at $600 and it's not a set price you can easily rack up a huge alterations bill, one that costs just as much as your dress. So I would recommend doing your research and opting for a different service. It is not required however and she is transparent about that. But having done the research, I am just letting other brides know just in case they feel pressured.

It's an extremely personalized experience. They only help up to two brides at a time. I really LOVED working with Anthony who is incredibly bubbly. He really made my experience. Although not as personable, Darcy was very professional and sweet. She was just a bit soft spoken and shy but what was nice about her is that aside from being extremely helpful on numerous occasions, she was also no pressure. Although I still think it's silly to spend a lot on a dress you will only wear once, my dress was well worth it. I even went above my intended budget but looking back at my pictures, this dress truly transformed me into a bride. I believe dresses here start at around $1800 and I paid around $3000 for mine.

They offer a beautiful selection of dresses. My Maid of Honor and I spotted the perfect dress for me among many beautiful options upon walking in the door. I spent a bit more than I had planned, but still in my comfort zone, and honestly worth every dollar. Anthony was a pleasure to work with while trying on multiple options. In fact, hands down agree with Julie G's review from May 30, 201 6 - I really LOVED working with Anthony. He made entire experience fun and easy. Steven, the designer, was also great to work with throughout the entire process. Shannon was very accommodating in scheduling my appointments (traveling up from Philly for fitting means limited scheduling options). Absolutely love my dress. The style, fabric and attention to detail were gorgeous! The train was beautiful, the bustle was great - and looked awesome when dancing - and I never had one concern about the strapless giving out on me. There was an audible gasp among our 140 guests as I casually pulled out a tissue during the ceremony. Needless to say, all compliments about the dress included a mention of "the pockets."
