We made a stop here and grabbed a drink and went outside to their little patio area. Probably not a place for the older crowd but we felt pretty welcome! Relaxing at atmosphere, cold drinks! They have a little mini nipper displayed. We had fun!

Finally eating here after hearing about it from fellow Yelpers for years. The food definitely lives up to the hype. My Chicken Katsu Sandwich was delicious with panko coated smoked dark meat chicken, pickled vegetables and yuzu mayo and eel sauce.. what an Unami mix!! The texture of the chicken was great too. If I had to nitpick I would say the chicken was too substantial for the brioche bun but it was still amazingly flavorful. My husband's empanadas were very tasty too. When asked if they had any birthday specials the proprietor brought out a candle bedecked beer!! That's a first for us. The price was fair for what we got. I wish we had been told about Happy Hour specials before it was too late to order them. Oh well, we'll be back.

Easily the best patio in Albany! Great beer selection; great people/great staff/customers/vibe and 5 Restaurant food. It's almost like a mashup between my favorite fine dining and my favorite bar all in 1! Just really amazing on all fronts. As with most all of my reviews, I wait until I eat at the place multiple times and I can't tell you all the apps and meals I've loved from L&F over time. Marsala fries. Omg. Pics are a take out meal that was just simply delicious and amazing / really well done. But again, everything I've had there is top notch! see you there!

YUM! I could stop there, but I won't. I've had this place on my radar for a while and finally made it last night! Let's start with the food. Eclectic, comfort food-ish menu that changes a few times a year with something for everyone. We started with the garlic toast/crumbled blue cheese and the plate of warm olives. The toast was absolutely delicious - the schmear between the blue cheese and bread: honey. Savory, crunchy and sweet. YES! The warm olives were addictive. Several varieties and sizes heated through with some delightful seasoning on top. Let's move on to the actual dinners: Pig Mac (as a platter...which includes fries and pickles instead of just the sandwich) and the vegetable pancake. I really enjoyed the vegetable pancake - lots of flavors and textures throughout. I tasted the Pig Mac and it definitely reminded me of the Big Mac (which I haven't had many of in my life)...but so much better. The bun was exactly the kind that I like - soft and super fresh. The ratio of pickles, sauce, bread....etc...was just right. But let's move on to my favorite thing and one of my biggest weaknesses: the fries. I'd call these fries perfection. Just the right amount of crunch on the outside with the soft potato inside and a dash of salt. I'd seriously come back for a platter of fries. But there are so many interesting choices, I'll have to try some other stuff. Definitely has a bit of a hipster vibe without any pretentiousness. Crowd was mixed age groups and the decor is very cool. There's a good sized stage so they have live music. Service? Excellent. Definitely a place to check out and recommend to others.

Apple streusel French toast

Came here on a whim for brunch after church- Lost & Found did NOT disappoint! In fact, I'm upset I didn't know about this place sooner! We will certainly return. The patio was beautiful and relaxing, we did not feel rushed at all. We both got the apple streusel French toast. Easily the best French toast I have ever had in my life. Can't wait to come back here & try their dinner + drink menu!

I have had Lost & Found bookmarked for a long time and I am so happy I made it here for my Birthday. I invited a large group of people to come with me and try it out. The menu was a little out there for some people but me and my BF really enjoyed our meals. I have not been here since it was the Saloon, but I feel that it looks very similar inside. The outdoor patio is still a huge highlight! They also have a great beer selection! There were quite a few beers worth trying. It was hard to choose! The menu has a good variety of dishes that sound well thought out - and delicious. The duck poutine was calling my name. I really enjoy ordering duck when I see it on the menu and this did not dissapoint. It was the crispiest piece of duck I have ever had, the gravy was tasty, and the fingerling potatoes were a great touch to make it unique, and the cheese curds, wait - cheese curds? The chef forgot them. I enjoyed the dish with out without them. I did mention it to the waitress (maybe the manager? she seemed to be in charge) that my dish was missing the curds. She quickly corrected this and brought me a shit ton (actual unit of measurement in my book) of cheese curds, but i was already almost through my dish. Thank you for making up for it, but I really wish they were there. They also comped me a beer - more than made up for it. My BF asked for them to make something not on the menu - a bacon cheese burger. They figured something out with the patty for the chopped cheese, some bacon and cheddar cheese. He loved it. The patty had jalapenos in it and he was a big fan. I 100% want to return and have more beer, more patio and more menu. Until next time!

We arrived on a Saturday night around 6PM and there were three people at the bar. By the time we left around 7PM, there had been at most nine people including us. Either it was an off night or it is a quiet bar. The bartender was friendly, though he accidently forgot to bring our drinks and I had to remind him 15 minutes later. We ordered wings and loaded fries, and food came up relatively quickly. From what I understand, the kitchen guy was new. It showed in the fries, which were cooked but not crispy at all. It was like eating a loaded baked potato... not bad, but not fries. (They took them off the bill- thank you!). The wings were good and varied in size, though of our 10 Buffalo wings only one was a drumstick. I like flats so it was okay with me, but odd. We later ordered 10 more wings and my wife said she liked the Lemon-Pepper seasoning. They have happy hour specials from 5-8 which is nice, though three items were out by the time we arrived. I would have loved to try their maple-bacon wings but they had no maple syrup. In the room next door was a pool table and it might be fun to play sometime if we come back.

New owners, new review…read more There was an everchanging group of friends who would gather weekly, prior to Covid, on a Friday evening at an establishment down the street from the Washington Tavern (better known as WT's to regulars) for a drink or two. Once a year on the Saturday before the St. Patrick's Day parade these friends would shift to WT's for what was known as "corned beef day." With new ownership of WT's it was about time that a call was put out to those friends to reunite. WT's was now the ideal place. Arriving on a Thursday at 4:30 we quickly realized that they didn't open until 5PM. They were kind enough to let us have a seat inside until the bar and kitchen were open and operational. They were not aware of our planned gathering so I will not nitpick about any service. In fact, the bartender who also acted as our server did a miraculous job handling the drinks and separate-check food orders for what grew to about 15 people in the backroom by the kitchen. Kitchen staff also did a wonderful job of getting the food out in a respectable time for our unexpected gathering at the start of their day. All the food I saw coming to our table looked inviting - wings; smashburgers; flatbreads; and someone's salad. I had a pint of Guinness with a Southern Smash burger ($16). There was plenty of flavor and a mix of textures as I took my first bite into the soft roll surrounding the smashed beef patty, a crunchy onion ring, fresh leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, American cheese, and a sweet BBQ sauce. Even the pickle spear on the side was tasty. A true surprise was what I believe were house-made potato chips - so crunchy with an herbed dusting that escapes me but helps to make them addictive. I foresee additional gatherings here in our future.
