We have been customers for years. Back before they expanded this location, before being on T.V., but lately their food (carnitas is dry as hell) and more importantly their service has gone down hill. Last couple times we've picked up (we don't live close by) we've gotten home there are items missing. We ordered a bunch of tacos, and 7 were missing. This time rice and beans x2 were missing from kids quesadilla meals. When we call, they have rude little girls answering the phone. I guess we will find another Mexican food place. Tac O the Town This place is full of surprises. During the early lunch hours of the day, I was excited to find that there was the taco shop near me. Upon opening the doors I was welcomed with renovated and modern restaurant. I ordered four tacos (asada, pastor, carnitas, pollo). Their tacos are typical street style tacos, served with two tortillas, meat, cilantro, onions, and salsa. Their tortillas are freshly made every day. Their flour tortillas are warm and crispy on the outside with buttery goodness on the inside (the corn tortillas are served with the tacos while the flour tortillas are served the burritos). Every single taco there was spectacular. The strongest tacos were the asada and the pastor. When I come back I will be trying the lengua. read more

It's honestly a real shame. I Oder food here and a guys who had been waiting for almost an hour for his food was still waiting when I ordered, I still managed to get my food before him. Here's a first... I've always believed in word of mouth recommendations. But I've never been the recipient of an indirect, long-distance recommendation before. My brother, who lives in California, saw an old episode of DDD that featured Los Taquitos. He texted me saying we should check this place out when he's in town again. So I beat him to the punch and took my girlfriend to the Elliott Road location for dinner last week. Having not seen the actual DDD episode, I previewed the restaurant's website and was impressed. And when we arrived, I was even more impressed. Los Taquitos is a modern, bright and cheerful fast-casual Mexican restaurant. Their specialty is street tacos and they have Margaritas y Cervezas to complement them! Oh, and burritos, tortas, tamales... I could go on. And the artwork is brilliant! My girlfriend and I each enjoyed our selections. Hers was in a bowl and I tried a combination of the various taco fillings. There are home made salsas available, but you really won't need them. Everything is fresh and seasoned well. But grab a bunch of limes! You can't go wrong there. And of course, I had to tease my brother about the fact that we tried his suggestion without him. We go here quite often because we live right down the road. We really enjoy their food. Their tacos and their meat are some of the best in town. We usually get tacos or tostadas or my boyfriend gets the quesadilla. Their Chilaquiles is also phenomenal. This said, every single time we order they mess up our order. I would advise that if you are ordering to go you better check your order before you walk out the door because chances are they've gotten it wrong. We've had incorrect orders when we've ordered at the counter, ordered over the phone, and ordered online. If they could just get it that aspect together they would get five stars in our book. read more

Hands down this is the best and freshest Mexican food around. The shrimp tacos are so great and the nachos just can't get enough of the flavor. Must have the margaritas. OMG!!! One of the only reasons I'm rating this place low is specifically for the customer service. I've always enjoyed the food, the carne asada tacos are great, in my opinion, however it's rare if anyone at the front actually cares or even greets you. I've called in my orders several times and majority of the time the person answering the phone sounds like they are being bothered to take orders or I'll just be put on hold with them forgetting or not caring that they put someone on hold therefore I end up hanging up and trying somewhere else. If this place actually got a staff that cares or at least appear that they care they would no doubt be a 5 star rating. read more

The veggie was good but was missing the avocado the cashier said came on it and the al pastor was aaaaamazzing. I would highly recommend getting the salsa on the side. They took my order and somehow lost it. We waited for 30 minutes and nothing. People that showed up waaayy after us received their food before us. So I finally asked the status of our food and I was told that the kitchen never received my order and that it would take another 10-15 minutes for my order to come out. I go here every time I want some Mexican food. It is just a good go to that never disappoints. The carnitas is so full of flavor and juicy. The carne asada is never salty. It's just perfection. The shrimp cocktail is loaded with veggies and shrimp. The broth is so good. You can just eat it alone. Add some tapatio, lime, chips and crackers. It's a perfect compliment. The posole I thought was going to be oily. The pork was so tender. The broth was so smoky but I like it. read more

I love this place and come here all the time. However today I went in around 11 and was told you no longer serve breakfast burritos all day on Tuesday because of taco Tuesday. I have never had this issue at any of your other locations before. I am extremely confused as this is not posted anywhere as the website says breakfast served all day. The line can get long sometimes, but it is worth the wait. However, I typically call my order in a head of time to try saving some time. Depending on my mood, I enjoy their burritos and tacos.
