This is literally a new "mom & pop" taco shop with corn tortillas made fresh in-house. Breakfast all day and table service. I had the 3 taco plate a good deal for $12.99 with rice and beans. We tried this place because of the many great reviews and boot did not disappoint! My husband had the shrimp ceviche and had the three taco plate. Both were delicious! We also had the horchata which my husband said was the best he had ever had. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food. On top of the ambiance was warm and cozy and the guy working there was delightful with great service. we will definitely be coming back and are so happy to have found the Mesa gem. read more

Have been driving past this place since it opened, just went in for the first time and it's fantastic. Food was great, I had a delicious carnitas burrito and my wife got 3 tacos (with hand made tortillas) all of which were stellar. Also ordered a side of chips & salsa which came with 3 salsas and once again, excellent. Will be back for sure, the service was incredibly nice and looking forward to supporting them more. read more

We happened to walk past this location, and a guy was leaving and said, "You have to try this place." We asked about the food, and he said everything he had was delicious, and he had eaten there the day before and returned. The place is cozy and clean. We dined in and ordered many things on the menu, and the food was fresh and delicious!! A friend ordered the quesadillas, and I had to get another order because I ate most of theirs. I live in California now and was in Mesa for a conference, and this was the best Mexican food I've had in months! I spent over $100 and didn't regret it one bit. I also am HARD ON RESTAURANTS because I am a great cook. Oh, and I rarely give 5 stars, but the owner was so kind, and it just felt good being there and having delicious food. If you know me, I like trying new taco places. I got tica,Carne Asada, pork, and one Birria quesadella and 2 Mexican Cokes. Just under 40.00. Little steep, I thought. Got home and realized I didn't get my Cokes. 3.65 each! All the meats were overcooked, making the meat dry, even though they tried to remoisturize with broth. The best thing was the Birria quesadilla with consume. Still, 14.00 for a 6-inch quesadalla and consume? Overall, just o.k. and over priced. read more

The green chilaquiles were to die for!! The coffee had a taste of cajeta which was delicious and the horchata had a twist, small pieces of apple which I thought improved it. The birria on the otherhand could've been more tender and the tortillas are a little too thick/dry. Overall great service and I would come back and try other dishes! read more

Great little mom and pop Mexican food. Some of the best carnitas tacos and authentic shrimp tacos. Amazing fresh corn and flour tortillas. My goto is carnitas tacos and Al pastor burrito. New shop that looks like it just opened last week, today was the first chance I had to stop in. Went for the tacos since what the name is should be a good place to start. Got the plate with the asada, carnitas, and tinga tacos then it came with rice and beans. Definitely seems like a hand made tortilla which was a nice touch. Just one tortilla which can be risky with some tacos, held up well for the asada and carnitas with salsa but the tinga with salsa ended breaking free from the tortilla. The house horchata was fantastic, not too sweet and not too heavy on the spices but still very robust and flavorful. read more

The Quesa Birria here on the weekends is one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. The fish tacos, chicken, and pork are all as well absolutely delicious. The food was amazing, and the service was even better it's probably cause she wasn't as busy but she was always checking up on us and making sure the food was great, the one thing I loved the most was the large horchata, it was so big I was able to share it, comes in a huge glass chug, but all in all the ambiance was great lots of lighting during the day, not sure how it looks at night but it was a nice taco spot that I'll be going to more often, definitely worth a five star restaurant. read more
