Been driving by this place for years and have never stopped by and finally decided to try it. Mos def glad I did food was delicious. Ordered a family style order 1 chicken rice beans tortillas and salsa. Service was fast and friendly they answered all my questions and helped me decide my best option. This combo fed 3 of us me and 2 hungry teens. Place looks small from outside but it's big inside with plenty room to sit and a salsa bar. Food good prices are decent service is great will be coming back. read more

Second time coming here. Was craving pollo a las brasas so decided to stop by. Just like the last visit, chicken was cooled perfect. Well-done but juicy enough. Has a slight crisp. Beans and rice were good as well. Fluffy rice, tasty beans. What got me this time was a hime-made corn tortilla. That was a major plus. Overall, good eating. Place is clean with ample of parking. While at our in-laws in Lakewood we decided to place an order for some chicken. Of course came right to Yelp to search and 3 Pollos was a suggestion. We went with it and it was a good decision for a good Sunday afternoon. Taste was fresh like the frijoles were just made chicken was just right. Rice was ok could've been better but it takes away from the taste of the chicken plus the jalapeño and grilled onions made up for it. There's not enough parking but there's street parking otherwise we would order again and pick up. See you later. Xo! read more

I have been driving by this place for a couple of years now. Always curious but never had the time to stop by. I finally took my chance today and picked up half a chicken (very affordable). Less than $20. The chicken was well done, crispy and yet juicy and full of flavor. I was pleasantly surprised. Better than El Pollo Loco I believe. The side salad was fairly good. I didn't care much for the rice though. I would definitely visit again. The place is in a busy corner so I rather buy take out and eat at home. read more

My review was removed but I will review again. Cashier who took order first off, didn't greet us when we walked in. Secondly I ordered a WET burrito and my partner order a regular asada burrito and she just put two burritos. When told she got the order wrong she immediately got offended and said with attitude, "well I asked." She should've apologized and fixed the mistake she made. And then charged me another $2.31 to fix my order she made a mistake on. She should've repeated my order. She did not have a name tag nor did she use a register under her name because Emmanuel did not take my order which is the name she used for the register. She's short, and has black mixed with red hair. Will never return here specifically because of her. Other than that the place was nice and clean. read more

My reivew is about their food handling process, but I've never eaten here. And from what I saw, I would be afraid to eat here for possible food poisoning. I noticed a large bucket of uncooked marinated chicken sitting out in the full sun when I drove past this place on July 26, 20204. It was around 4 pm and it was 85 degrees outside. I was stopped at a long red light as I watched an employee cook the chicken on a large grill. I initially thought he left the bucket of raw chicken outside temporarily until he 'loaded' the chicken on the grill. Nope. He cooked and flipped grill-full of chicken while he left the chicken out in the sun on a warm day. read more

Nice clean, courteous also I came a few minutes from after opening, food was ready chicken juicy, rice, beans, tortillas, 3 or more type of salsas, also have Latino desserts like churros, flans with different kinds and flavored. Place nice and clean and family friendly. I will go back as much as possible. read more

This place is REALLY good. From the chicken down to the red salsa. I highly recommend it! I ordered through GrubHub so pick up was fairly quick. Service was also good, i was greeted immediately after entering the establishment. I showed up at about 620pm and it was pretty slow. It looked like they were cleaning up for the day so it was nice and quiet inside. There is seating available inside. Parking is also available in front and on the side, i think. U have to wait 25 min for a burrito!!! No thank you. They should tell you before ordering that they have a lot of online orders so you'll have to wait long. Smh and the attitude they give it's the worse part! Not only do they make you wait long but when you cancel the order they treat you like trash. Stumbled upon this place out of the blue. We love charcoal flamed chicken so we pulled over to grab dinner. The restaurant was clean and the staff were very attentive. We took our food to go. The chicken was not the best we have had, yet it had some good flavor. The beans and rice were a little bland. I would give them a half star more for their salsas. Those were all very flavorful and were a great add on to the meal. In a pinch and in the area, I'd grab food from them again, to try something different. read more

The hard working man on the grill guaranteed my chicken would fresh & flavorful. He didn't lie one bit!!! You can smell the chicken down the block. This might be the best Mexican style chicken I've ever had! They sale carne asada & other meats but the restaurant has "Pollo" in the title so I was rolling w that. I'm sure the other meats are great & I'll try them next time. This spot is similar to el Pollo loco but better juicier & fresher. You get half a chicken, homemade Mexican rice, beans & tortillas for only $11! It's great for an after gym workout protein meal. I'll definitely be going back. Stop by & check this place out. Parking is limited- the space is not practical for this location being on a corner of an intersection. Give or take 6 spots but it's a tight lot. Great food options, ice cream freezer and dried fruit/nuts for sale. Inside seating spaced out for pandemic times. Try calling ahead- the wait after ordering can take 7-10 minutes. read more

Tried this place on 3 different occasions. First time it was all good the gentleman took my order promptly and the order was correct, food was good. Second time I asked for the same thing I ordered the first time but this time the order was wrong. Didn't know till I got home. Went back a third time ordered something very simple. A carne asada burrito and a chicken burrito. Got home started to eat the chicken burrito couldn't even get half way through it...... it was full of Bones! Like the whole fuckin Skeleton of the chicken was in the god damn burrito! There is no WAY the person making the burrito Didn't see It was meatless and all BONES!! WTF!! I damn near chocked on this shit! Needless to say I tried to give the neighborhood food spot a try, but I will not go back nor can it recommend the place to others. I was really in the mood for some green sauce on a burrito! After a quick Yelp search I realized this little gem was just a mile or two away! I had the wet chicken burrito with green sauce, and MAN was it great! The sauce is tangy and not too spicy, the onions were crunchy and raw, beans tender. My husband had the chilaquiles and the red sauce was that deep, earthy flavor. We were a bit upset that there was no egg on top, just some crumbled cheese and sour cream. Usually for brunch time on the weekend. The first time I've ever had a Tlayuada was here a while back and have always enjoyed it. I was actually craving some since it's been likely over a year since we last visited. The hubby had 2 tacos plates. The birria was very good, the asaea delicious but very rich. I've never been a fan of black beans but these were tasty. My Tlayuada hit the spot and chase it down with a Penelope. When we arrived we were the only ones there. The server was attentive and check on us throughout our visit. Engaging and friendly. The interiors are cost and warm with plants and green as the main color. Nice murals throughout.
