I got the Half Chicken Plate, loaded up on salsa and ordered the corn tortillas, that are homemade. This place smells amazing from a mile away, the inside is so pretty, it's a calming environment. Outside is a grill and delicious chicken smoke filling the air. Everything I ate knocked down points for me. -Tortillas: heavy on the stomach, little flavor. -Rice: Plain, needs salsa -Beans: Basic, nothing special -Picodegao: Less flavorful than most basic pico -Salsa Roja: Tasted like cheap pizza sauce -Salsa Verde: Tasted like sweet pizza sauce Once I covered my chicken in salsa, I thought it tasted like a pepperoni pizza. I stopped eating after that. Only finished my plate because I was hungry, about to work in 15 mins, and I paid nearly $20. The salsa tastses like lunchanbles marinara sauce. I love salsa, it's hard to fail. The salsa genuinely ruined my lunch. Only gave 2 stars because everything looks amazing. my favorite part of the meal was the jalapeno and onions. My review was removed but I will review again. Cashier who took order first off, didn't greet us when we walked in. Secondly I ordered a WET burrito and my partner order a regular asada burrito and she just put two burritos. When told she got the order wrong she immediately got offended and said with attitude, "well I asked." She should've apologized and fixed the mistake she made. And then charged me another $2.31 to fix my order she made a mistake on. She should've repeated my order. She did not have a name tag nor did she use a register under her name because Emmanuel did not take my order which is the name she used for the register. I noticed a large bucket of uncooked marinated chicken sitting out in the full sun when I drove past this place on July 26, 20204. It was around 4 pm and it was 85 degrees outside. I was stopped at a long red light as I watched an employee cook the chicken on a large grill. I initially thought he left the bucket of raw chicken outside temporarily until he 'loaded' the chicken on the grill. Nope. Service was also good, i was greeted immediately after entering the establishment. I showed up at about 620pm and it was pretty slow.
