Our favorite was Birria and Queso Birria tacos, Campechana was refreshing. Service was fast, food was hot and didn't take long considering we order a lot. Maybe since it was after the lunch rush. 03.31.2025 Tried this place for breakfast. Ordered a Carne Asada Burrito and some tacos. Tacos and burrito was just ok. When I say Carne Asada, I expected cut up meat. This is not the case. I was served shredded beef. I was dissapointed. Prices are ok with the cost of inflation. Since everything is going up these days it is normalizing. Negative: It's not in the greatest neighborhood. I went in for a quick bite stopped to use the restroom before ordering because I couldn't hold it. Female Employee comes knocking on door i tell her ill b right out ive only been in there about a minute I hurry because I think someone needs to use the restroom and since it was one single restroom I was trying to be fast. A minute later Employee comes back w a male employee and unlocks restroom door that opens to a street view. At this point im washing my hands so I look at them and walk out. The male employee looks almost dumbfounded that the woman had him open the door. What if I had been on the toilet?? How is violating my privacy ok? This place reminded me of my childhood. I couldn't wait to get enough money saved Jo so I could by a carne asana burrito from the taqueria. It took me all the way back. This is your abuela cooking in the back. This was home. I ordered the carne asana nachos and they were FIRE!!! Seasoning was on point. The serving was plentiful and I thoroughly enjoyed my food. Sunday, I was in the mood for menudo so taking the recommendations of a coworker my fiancé and I took the 6min drive and found the food, service surprisingly fast, flavorful, hot, and very appealing to our taste buds using fresh ingredients and spices. We ordered the chilaquiles plate, a bowel of menudo, the shrimp/chicken burrito to go, and two large 100% natural juices blended to perfection. $60.00 bucks later we were not disappointed in the least. They are true, authentic mom-and-pop shop in terms of it being a small, family-owned business, all the items they serve, the majority of their clientele, the TV programs they have on, and their interiors. They have a really extensive menu which can be a bit overwhelming if you're new, but there is something for everyone. I ordered 3 tacos: birria, lengua, and cabeza. Of the three, the cabeza was the favorite. They only use one layer of tortilla but they hand make it fresh and it's quite big. The tacos are filling and even 2 can be enough for most. I e ate here a lot throughout this year because the place is near my home. At first my experiences were good but my most recent visit was not good at all. I ordered two caldo de Rez, one problem was that they gave me caldo de pollo for one order. End result, Tasty!! Took some time to get my order, but that's how it goes when you're getting fresh food...this is not Albertos pulling your meat from a tub like you were at Subway. Five star, not only for such a GREAT value (aka cheap), but the tacos are sooooo tasty. They seem to offer all sorts of goodies such as chicken mole, burritos, hamburgers, French fries, tortas and the list goes on and on. I tried the $3.67 special.
