Only had 3 beers on tap-honey ale which was good and a pale ale and IPA. You would think a coffee house would have a coffee stout or coffee porter? Is a flight of 3 beers really a flight? Chips and salsa were no good. Cold stale chips from a bag and I'm guessing Costco salsa for $6. Do better please and give us more options than 3 beers. read more

What a great find. It's a bit secluded and off the main road. I am a bit hesitant on sharing my review because this place is awesome! and Don't want there to be an hour wait to get in once this place is discovered. They opened in January 2020 but had to close due to COVID 19 but they are back open for business. The service, ambience, food and beer is great. Great military vibe. Had some great things got for it, but still has to iron a few things out so here has been my observation. I appreciate that the management reads these reviews because I know they can not always be at their spot. I have been twice once for beer and food the other for coffee and pastries. The pretzel is perfect. Great price and good amount of salt. I wish it came with a cheese though, the mustArd is great tHey serve but i needed a break it near the end of the dish. And I know my wife whO doesn't like mustard would not have enjoyeD it. The sand which was great too, the chef knows what he is doing but the ruffle chips need a upgrade as the side. Kettle chips Made in house aren't difficult and you could up The price on the sand which plate. The coffee was clean and smooth, I would have liked another option of bean choice. Guatemalan beans are high in acidity which I can't drink to much of because of the acid. So only one cup of coffee for me. The pastries...were fantastic...when they showed up. I got to the shop around 820 to do some work and waited till 940...that's when the pastries showed up. I actually observed a customer come in for pastries specifically around 9 and left when they weren't there without buying anything. You guys have a great place and I'll be coming back again without a doubt...I just hope you can review this review so that your business can cOntinue to grow and serve special food and beer in the area. read more

I left some stars off because food is great, atmosphere is nice, beer is good, but staff needs help. One guy with beard was pretty nice, but everyone else is a tad off. I wanted to place an order for another beer while asking for napkins the waiter took off in between request. I wasn't finished with the order he just left mid conversation and never came back. The woman at bar was unwelcoming too. First time here she said we have no seating!! Didn't follow with but I can get you a beer while you wait, or welcome. I know people have bad days, its busy, you have unusual requests, but it's the service industry. We went to bar for another beer after finding a spot, our tab, more napkins and it makes for a bad experience :( we paid 125.00 for four beers, large salad, one pop tart, Cuban sandwich (delicious), and a bratwurst pretzel dog. We originally asked for the pretzel as an appetizer, but they ran out. We probably still paid for that too!! We didn't get a copy of the itemized bill. read more

The two beers I tried were good, but they don't do samples and don't do flights. I would have bought more and probably taken some beer home but not being able to try anything else kept me from it. Definitely 5 star place. Big selection of brews but I yelped to find a menu with some variety. Very nice ambiance, The service was great but the food was amazing. Everything that passed out of the kitchen made me pause with thought " should I have ordered that instead... because that looks amazing". Nope, my husband and I shared our meals - wedge salad and the Cubano sandwhich with ham and cabbage soup. Everything was spot on delicious and reasonably priced. Glad we found this gem! read more

My wife and I decided to give Longtab a try since it is a small business as well as Veteran owned. The atmosphere is nice and our kids enjoyed the games as well as the TVs. For lunch we enjoyed the Nachos and Tacos. Can't wait to go back! read more

Places looks pretty cool, I didn't try the food by the menu does look interesting. I only gave this place only 2 stars because the first reason is that the prices were super high. I get its a nice fresh brewing place but $13.00 for 4 - 12oz 4.7% beers is really expensive to me. Maybe for others who like that craft beer don't mind paying that, its okay. The other reason is that the beer tasted really good but man o man it had me passing gas for 2 days. That was crazy for me. Lol Sorry, I wish you guys the best of luck but I definitely won't be going back. read more

Beer is wonderful! Don't come hungry! 45 minutes to get Luke warm queso and chips. 2 napkins for 3 people. Apparently it is standard to get your own water. We were not told this when we requested water the first time. Second request for water extracted this information. read more

Our second visit was Father's Day and we arrived shortly before the doors opened at 11AM. There was a modest line of approximately 20 people waiting before the door opened. Upon entering, a single staff member was waiting and handing out menus and then it was self seating. We are a family of four with two children and were fortunate to grab a four top table. Within 5-10 minutes of opening all the tables were occupied and a single person (bartender) was going from table to table talking orders. Everything was fine up until she approached our table. She did not introduce herself and immediately began asking for a drink order. I had a couple of questions regarding the menu and she immediately came across as annoyed and responded to me with short and abrupt responses. After placing our order it took several minutes to receive the beer I ordered. This was followed by our food coming out a plate at a time. I received my order 15 -20 minutes after ordering followed by my daughter's about 5 minutes later. My wife's order didn't appear at the table until at least 10 minutes following my daughter's. As a result we we're unable to eat together as a family unless we wanted wait for everyone to receive their order and to eat cold food. The food and beer was was good but I thought the South Texas Eggs Benedict needed more seasoning and I couldn't taste the vanilla or bourbon in the Vanilla Bourbon Pancakes. I had the Legion beer and thought it was good. I am a bit disappointed they don't offer flights especially since they are currently marketing the beers that are each nicknamed for the respective Groups. I guess my expectations are a bit too, high for a brewery doing elevated food. I like the atmosphere that pays tribute to the community and the many pictures on the wall of several ODAs. It's like a little slice of Ft. Bragg here in Texas. I'll be back for the beer but will likely find elsewhere to take the family. Cheers! read more
