Legit neighborhood bar! Everyone was welcoming and friendly! I saw there was music bingo offered so I went to check it out! It was a good crowd. Family friendly. The beer is cold, the food is good! I know they have different events there. This place is worth checking out! It's definitely going to be my go-to bar!

Food: BOMB AF! Like bussin bussin! Didn't know I needed a 1lb frito pie in my life! It was amazing!! Service: Amazing service Julian and Juanita kill it at the bar! Disclaimer: beer and wine only no liquor! Ambiance: neighborhood bar! The place to be at before a game or concert at the Alamodome! The place to be at when you're trying to shot the shit with friends. The vibes are immaculate and will definitely be back!

Live Band in the back! What a view right next to the Alamo Dome!

This place truly caught us off guard, but in the best possible way! We met up with friends to check out a band called Soul Grammar (which rock btw) and ending up having THE BEST TIME! From the atmosphere, the views, to the food, it was all great. We ordered $20 bottles of Prosecco and a few IPAs, along with Smoked Wings, Waygu Frito Pie and an Italian Sandwich. The food is actually amazing! We loved being able to go right up to the side window and place our orders easily and then have everything delivered to our table. They have a huge patio area with tables so you can sit outside and enjoy the music and food when the weather is nice (as it usually is). The bandstand features a backdrop of the Alamodome and the tower of Americas which makes for epic photos. The bar area inside is super cute and has a small stage where they do smaller shows and karaoke during the week. Cannot wait to get back to Dakota!

Love love love!! First of all, food was sooooooo good. Absolutely love the vibe of the place. Art work is very much in line with the neighborhood and it really felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. Staff was super friendly, other patrons were friendly. Can't wait to go back.

Love the staff. Bring your dog. Inside or outside is fine. I ordered the biscuits with chopped brisket, bbq sauce, and pickles. Everything tasted great and the chef brought it out himself. Two side salads. You can get chips but I got an extra salad to be healthy. They make their own ranch here and it is so good! Top it off with a little balsamic. An amazing salad. Well done!

Have been wanting to check this place out since they opened, so a group of us decided to head out early on a Saturday and enjoy some food and drinks at this Eastside Neighborhood Bar on a nice SA winter day. The patio area is large and great for groups, while the inside is a bar going down the length of the inside that started to get packed with people as we ate and drank outside. They are really a beer and wine bar, with lower alcohol (like wine vodka). Beer selection was good and they pour a large pint + of draft beers. The bartender was friendly and gave some recommendations for food (I will have to come back for the carnitas!). We decided to go with the Sishitos & Sausage and the Nacos for my vegetarian friend. It was a good start for our night to hold us over for our bar hoppin' night!

    The Jazz Jam!

The Dakota is one of the only bars I know that has a weekly jazz jam (theirs is on Thursdays). My boyfriend and I have been coming here for awhile, but I love the ambiance of the place and the music. My favorite dish is of course the Hardcore Corn because I love elote and hot cheeto's. It's great getting to come out after school and listen to the jam sessions. The full bar is a great plus.

Beer, wine and pizza...what's not to love about The Growler Exchange?…read more For those of you who have never been to this amazing business before, The Growler Exchange is a tap room and restaurant which carries a huge variety of unique beers, as well as some of the most delicious pizza you've ever had in your life. I've been a regular at this restaurant for 5 years and I can tell you that quality has stayed the same throughout the years. I also appreciate that they now have a bigger variety of wines and you can also buy beer and wine to-go. If you are looking to try their amazing pizza, their most popular pie (and my husband's favorite) is their Mike's Special which is a red sauce pizza with mozzarella, pepperoni, bacon and topped with honey drizzle. However, if you prefer something spicy (like I do), I highly recommend their Spicy Meat Sweats which is also a red sauce pizza with mozzarella, garlic sausage, pepperoni, salami, bacon and topped with some very spicy chili oil. Hope everyone gets to try this amazing local business, and don't forget to bring your growler with you! PSA for the parents: They do welcome kids, and they even have a changing station in the women's bathroom.

Her artistry and craftsmanship with the drinks were truly impressive. Not only was my drink absolutely delicious, but it was also beautifully prepared. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it definitely elevated the entire experience. The atmosphere was fantastic. The live music created the perfect ambiance, and sitting on the River Walk with a cold drink, a gentle breeze, and live music on a hot June evening after a long day was exactly what I needed. If you have the opportunity, definitely ask to sit in Bella's section. She is attentive, personable, and an absolute sweetheart. Experiences like this are what keep people coming back. Between Bella's outstanding service, Destiny's incredible bartending, and Jeremy's hands-on leadership, this team delivered an exceptional dining experience. 10/10. Highly recommend!

I don't think I've ever seen a restaurant run like a well oil machine in the way this one does…read more They have the dino experience, down to a science. The line may look intimidating, however, it moves extremely quickly, and you'll be eating in no time. From standing in the line to sitting with maybe about 15 to 20 minutes total and I definitely think the hot air outside exaggerated the time. Yet, once we were inside the cool air, and the amazing smell made the wait desirable. Ordering a simple, you go up and you just say what meat you want and the number of tacos. I got three including brisket, steak, and al pastor. Those come with radishes, cucumbers, lime, and lots of cilantro and onion, of course. As you're standing in line, server will come by to ask if you want any drinks and prep a table for you we got a lemonade, a large one to share. Which was five dollars, and a refill will come at the cost of $1.08. There's a lot of meat in these tacos, while I got three, I only made my way through two sadly because I wanted to finish them all. The salsa you'll get at your table are two different types of green and a red one. The red one is hotter, but the green still has hints of heat. Both are delicious, but I could only manage to slather the green one on my food. At the end of your meal, you'll go up and pay at the counter by telling them how many tacos you had and that's it. There's tons of parking available, while the lights on the side may look busy they actually own the building next-door and all the parking in the back is available to utilize. If you're in San Antonio for any reason, I definitely recommend to stop here. This was the highlight of my trip. Despite the fact, I don't know if I'll return to the city.
