Great spot for brunch with a beautiful inside and patio seating. They have lots of options for breakfast including pancakes and waffles. There's more typical Mexican options like breakfast plates with huevos rancheros and chilaquiles. The chilaquiles divorciados lets you pick any two of the flavors and it was a big portion. The service was very quick and friendly.

Chicken green enchiladas were bomb!

Authentic! I'm Mexican and I was pleased that Texas has a place that was legit. I'm coming back tomorrow for breakfast! Great service and ambiance! Muy bien!

This spot was beautiful inside and out! The server who helped us was amazing. He took time to give us recommendations of where to visit in our short time in San Antonio. The food was incredible, their taco suave was amazing, the chiquiles with the eggs is a must!!

Service was great. This restaurant was our pick for our book club gathering this month. We appreciated not feeling rushed to eat and leave. We were able to enjoy our discussion and drinks.

The restaurant building itself is just beautiful! The plants and flowers just add to its beauty. The service right when you walk in is so welcoming and they take care of you like your family. Our waiter Paul was one of the best waiters we have had in a while. He was friendly to my 2 daughters (2 and 4 year old) and was making jokes with them to keep them laughing. The food was delicious authentic Mexican food. It's not Texmex which we wanted. The mole was a little sweeter than usual but my wife and dad both still loved it. The poblano enchiladas were perfect according to my mom. She wanted it spicy but not too spicy and they definitely met her needs. The fajitas were pretty good. Steak was pretty tough, so I wish they could have cooked it for less time and the chicken was flavorful with the onions and peppers it came with. The best was the cucumber vodkarita. The flavor of cucumber was so strong and you could barely taste the vodka but it gave us a pretty good buzz. Overall a great restaurant and well for sure be regulars.

This first time experience was outstanding. Five stars for taste and service. I highly recommend the piña colada as it was a great blend of pineapple and coconut. And it's topped off with whipped cream and a cherry. The happy hour menu items are delicious as well. During this visit, I sampled chicken quesadillas, chicken, flautas, and bean and cheese nachos. All three hit the spot.

We had a great meal here, the service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious! We also got a standard and virgin margarita which was delicious. I really liked their guacamole and chips and the restaurant itself is very pretty.

We love Sabor for breakfast when visiting San Antonio. Their chilaquiles are fabulous!! Highly recommend an order with both the red and the green sauces. The margarita flights are fun to share. The waitstaff is always friendly and helpful. We enjoy the atmosphere out on the front enclosed patio area. Highly recommend Sabor.

Always good food and service! Nice music playing in the background and if the weather is nice you can sit outside under the covered patio.

Do they have Sunday brunch? Do they take reservations?

Hi! They do serve brunch on Sundays from 8 am until 2:30 pm! They're one of the best in town so don't pass them up, however, they don't take reservations so be prepared to wait a bit for a table. If you have a large party you're looking to… Read more

Our first visit to Outlaw Kitchen absolutely lived up to the hype--and then some. The experience as…read morea whole was fantastic: warm, attentive service, a beautifully restored house, and food that invites you to slow down and enjoy every bite. We started with the beet and dill salmon on crostini, which was such a fun and memorable dish. Piling everything on yourself made it interactive, almost playful, and you could make each bite as beautiful as you wanted. The flavors were bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced. We ordered all of the entrées--choucroute, hanger steak, and sweet pea risotto--and every single one was delicious. That said, the risotto completely stole the show for me. Creamy and rich without being heavy, it was packed with mushrooms, sweet peas, and delicate pea shoots. The salty, umami depth from the cheese paired beautifully with little bursts of sweetness from the peas--it was honestly exceptional. Outlaw Kitchen is the kind of place where everything works together: the food, the service, and the space. It feels intentional, personal, and special without ever being pretentious. We were blown away on our first visit and can't wait to come back.

Everything was well timed, except when we were trying to get the check. All the staff seemed to be kind and professional. The patio is lovely, but I imagine it can be uncomfortable in the summer heat. Now for the food. Overall it was good. I found some components spectacular, but felt like some lacked seasoning. I was looking forward to the arancini the most. The croquet itself was crunchy and that cheese was definitely telefono style, but needed some seasoning. The pomodoro was tasty, but the basil made it fabulous. Y'all know how I feel about basil. The ravioli was filled with spinach, mushroom, and ricotta with a brown butter sage sauce. It was delicious and the portion was perfect. My favorite part though was the crunchy shitaki "bacon"and butternut squash. I would take a bowl of that in a heartbeat and would absolutely go back for a butternut squash main dish. It was perfectly roasted and full of flavor and those shitaki were amazing. The preserved lemon vinaigrette over lettuces was phenomenal. Incredible fresh flavor. Desert was chocolate torte and sour cream ice cream. The ice cream was the absolute star of the show. The sweet vanilla was incredible. I sampled the halibut and shrimp and it was perfectly cooked. I would definitely come back to try other offerings.

We had the pretzel (4 short pretzel sticks), nachos, the smash burger and a grilled cheese sandwich for our Grand Daughter. Service was quick initially but they weren't great on refilling drinks. Food was all good and a reasonable value for the venue. I'd get the burger and nachos again. They are kid friendly during the day (it might be a different crowd at night), it is clean and not too noisy. Hopefully, people will find it and enjoy their food. We all ordered meals including steak and shrimp cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly paired with loaded mashed which was enough for two. Two of us opted for the chicken fried steak. Seasoned and fried to a crisp golden with white gravy and a large heap of skin on mashed that were creamy and delicious. One fried shrimp platter hot and good. One fried catfish which was also prepared perfectly paired with cocktail sauce but they added on the tartar sauce. One kid had sirloin and mashed and she finished the entire steak. One chicken fried chicken which was also good. The portion sizes are generous , hot and fresh. I don't think it's the staff's fault, more a shortcoming of the kitchen setup, but it still caused a pretty significant wait. We tried to go on a Saturday morning, not realizing how popular it was, and it was a total no-go. So we ordered ahead for Sunday morning, planning to just pick up and bring food back to the house. The food was ready when we arrived, but the coffee wasn't (I don't think they have a fridge or warmer to keep drinks at the right temperature, so they don't make them until you come in to pick up.) We had to remind them that we'd ordered drinks and we ended up waiting another 20-30 minutes, our food in hand, while we waited on 3 iced coffee orders. I think the issue was a mix of crowds and kitchen layout. They were very clearly trying to make sure that the people who were seated in the restaurant were being served as well, but all of the drink orders were going through this one, tiny coffee station that frankly couldn't keep up. And I think our drink orders were basically added at the end of the drink queue when we arrived to pick up our order. We didn't get any sort of priority because we'd technically ordered ahead. We essentially skipped the line, but not the queue on drinks. All in all, I'd definitely want to visit again. The food and drinks WERE really great. I had the avocado toast with chicken and for a seemingly simple dish it was absolutely phenomenal. The abuelita's was the best of the 3 iced coffee offerings we tried, and I would definitely order again. But we'll definitely have to plan/strategize around crowds and be prepared for a long wait even if we order ahead.
