I would like to know why a cook is eating a piece of meat or some food in the back area and he went and diped the food in the sauce and not only dipped but double dipped the food in the customers sauce. This was a terrible experience for this visit. We were visiting for graduation and we felt like the service could have been so much better. Matthew was our server and we were never offered bread although the small plates were present at the table. The server Savannah was extremely pleasant and came through and saved this evening. I ordered the steak and Matthew made it seem as if I was incompetent by asking me twice if I wanted the temperature that I asked. I do not like gray meat. But yet I was questioned when I asked for my steak to be medium. It was pretty crowded and the service reflected that. Once ordering and getting our meal, I knew that I had come to the wrong place. I had the Outlaw steak, and it was the toughest, saltiest, dryest piece of meat I have ever tried to eat. My husband and I typically come to this Longhorn on Thursday night. When we walk in, we are always greeted by an amicable hostess. If there is no bar seating available, we have sat in the dining room a few times. Regardless of how busy they are, we have never waited over 10 minutes to be seated. The entire staff is friendly and professional. The service tends to be a tad slow in the dining area, so we prefer to sit at the bar. Not only can we watch the game in the bar area, but the bartenders give give top notch service and make very good drinks. My go-to drink is a lemon drop martini, and my husband always orders an old-fashioned. If we get an appetizer, our favorite is the wild west shrimp. I love that I can order my dishes altered, and they always get it right. My go-to dishes are the Redrock Grilled Shrimp, or I order the Mixed Greens Salad with Salmon. My husband likes the same dishes, but he also enjoys ordering their Renegade Sirloin. Everything we order has always come out hot and fresh consistently. This Longhorn is by far the best chain restaurant in the area, in regards to both food and service. If you are looking for a nice date night spot or just a restaurant to take the family for a nice dinner, look no further. read more

I just had the best steak at Longhorns that I have had in a while! I ordered the 6 oz Renegade which is a top sirloin since it's a leaner steak and I don't like a fatty piece of meat. I order my steaks cooked medium with a little Prairie Dust on the side , Ilike to sprinkle a bit on my baked potato and a little extra on my steak. My steak was so tender and flavorful that I could not believe it was the Renegade, it practically melted in my mouth! The salad was fresh and crisp, loaded baked potato was done to perfection. The food was fine, but the food is also fine at the other steakhouses in town. My issue was with the blonde female manager, who has no concept of customer service. I brought an issue to her attention, and I didn't even get an apology. I received a smirk look and an "okay. Thank you for letting me know" that carried an attitude. A simple " I'm so sorry, I'll look into that" with some genuine care would have sufficed. It was a real turn off. So I emailed Longhorn corporate to let them know, received a response stating that they understood and we're sorry, but that the operating partner would be emailing me. That was a week ago and not a peep from him. Problems do usually start at the top. There's been other issues with service before and some really good experiences but this visit really will make me question where I go next time. read more

Horrible customer service. Spoke with the manager Mr. Martin, what a poor job at handling a customer. I called to place an order, I was left on hold for about 4 minutes then the call hung up. I called again, explained the situation & was treated with low disregard. I asked for the manager to see how I can place my order and he refused to help, stating we need to come in and place an order with such attitude! I was trying to explain our frustration and that we just wanted to place an order for pick up because while trying to order online everything states it's "unavailable." Terrible experience. Getting into the booth with the sunken seat. The flatware was nasty so I requested a fresh set. We ordered water with lemon and told waiter that we were ready to order. I took him a long time to bring our water. I ordered my salad with dressing on the side because I dip my greens and use very little dressing. My salad came soaked in dressing. Then when we finally got our food my Medium Steak was well done. Another waiter said he would get me one in five minutes. 10 minutes later the Manager came out and said I would have my steak in 2 minutes. Another 10 minutes passed and finally my food was delivered. My husband had already finished his meal. Manager said he would adjust our check. He took off 25% He should have comped my meal . Then the waiter my husband's credit card to settle the check. But instead of bringing it right back, he was delivering food to other tables and then he was taking orders for a new table. We had a server greet us within minutes, then another server came back to actually take care of us. His name was Jayden, he was awesome. So polite. It has been a very long time since I wrote a review for Longhorns but it must be done. My wife had the filet and the last thing you expect in a filet is "grizzle". This 6 ounce steak ended up with about three ounces of edible beef. I had the same encounter with the sirloin. Server offered to bring different steaks but by this time we had worked around the grizzle and another steak would have been wasted. We eat here two or three times a month and tonight it was horrible. Definitely not expected. read more

Wow! A GREAT server combined with delicious food put this over the top for my first-ever visit to a Longhorn Steakhouse! Jose the server was absolutely FANTASTIC and attentive. No empty water glass, frequently checking- in (but not too much) and good communication about food preparation status. Now, to the food! Ordered the 20 ounce bone-in Outlaw ribeye medium with one side baked potato and a default (house) salad and bread. The steak's appearance was EXCELLENT, like in a commercial. Minimal gristle. Maybe a bit on the medium rare side but it was superb! The salad was just perfect with diced cucumbers and tomatoes, grated cheese, crotons, and dressing. The baked potato was good. Definitely will try more of these restaurants after such a great first impression. Went to celebrated my wife's birthday dinner. The establishment's rule is to call in at 5:30 to join the wait list in which I followed. Arrival time 6:20 to check in for party of 10 ( 7 adults and three kids) 40 min wait (can understand it's Friday) Table was ready but not enough chairs. Additional 15-20 min added. How do run out of chairs? Took an hour and some change to get our food in which I noticed families that arrived after us and got their food and checked out. We had a wonderful waitress (Courtney) who attempted three times to check on our food from the cook?? One of my family members had to intervene & speak with the manager. Received our food after the manager said something to the cook. 3 out of 5 main orders were cold. Manager gave us 25% off from our ticket and my wife's meal free due to the service. After this experience, I don't think my family and I will attend it for dinner anytime soon. read more
