I know how much my hogs weigh, and I know how much final meat one hog will produce, I've been at this for 20 years. The last time I took (two) 225 pound hogs to Yoders and I got a whopping 125 pounds of meat back. That's a loss of 325 pounds on the hoof. Some of that was bone, fat and head, but NOT 325 POUNDS WORTH. I will not be coming back here again and I think someone should look into where all this meat is going.

I went here after getting off work, about 20 min before they closed. I was greet right away... loved that! They have a plethora of jerky! It all looked amazing. They also make their own dry rub sauces as well as carry others. The best part is they carry locally grown produce and protein that is both freshly packaged and frozen. I was only there for a moment and that was the only time I was able to go, but I will definitely have to check out the local protein as the cuts looks wonderful. I did, however, purchase some bbq sauce which I out on some smoked ribs which turned out amazing! I will definitely be back soon.
