Such a cute farm!! We went for a day trip to go strawberry picking and for the spring festival, they have two different fields and plenty of strawberries. We got about 3 boxes full for $25! They also have a little market with an assortment of homemade goods and strawberry ice cream. The festival itself had food trucks and vendors, it was a little on the smaller side though. Such a fun day trip i definitely recommend!! read more

We've been coming here for years. Since moving away my parents have made sure that I get Georgia peaches every year. And every year they're from here. I love that it's outdoors with plenty of rockers to sit and enjoy ice cream on. The produce selection is pretty good. There's also veggie stands across the street that sell a good variety. This is a dog friendly place, and today there were a good amount of pups out and about. Dogs and peaches. Nothing better! Got my peck of peaches and ready to bring a taste of home back to Indy! read more

We visited this place with some family. They have lots of things that you can buy. You can see peach production and sorting in real time as this is the back side of the building. You can buy fresh peaches right off the shelf. They have other things too like honey, salsa, eggs, shirts, cups, a bunch of farmers-market items. I got the strawberry icecream, and it was so yummy and not too sweet. The peach ice cream is very sweet! All of their ice cream is fresh (thats what I was told). The people are friendly, but the line moves fast so there isnt much talking! Its a bit loud in there, I could see it being overwhelming to a young child or someone who gets overstimulated a little easy. All in all I would go again ! read more

First visit to Dickey Farms. It was packed! My brother in law thought we were about to pick strawberries. No sir! Not in this heat! I haven't done that in years. Go over yonder and get a container of already picked strawberries. That's just what he did. He got a green tomato also. We purchased 2 strawberry waffle cones, 2 large boiled peanuts and a peach fritter. Now umma tell you I'm not fond of animals wondering around food products. There was one there that was the "shop" dog so I guess he was the owner's. But then there were other lil dogs inside the gazebo that were not service animals. It was a beautiful weekend here in Georgia so decided to drive down to Central Georgia to do some strawberry picking. Stopped at Dickey Farms a few miles west of Macon in a small town called Musella. They have some of the most beautiful ruby red strawberries I have ever seen. Rows and rows of big juicy and delicious strawberries. So many that the carton was filled in no time. They have just the cutest country store with fresh vegetables and jars of amazing honey, jams, jellies and other assorted items. Also a full array of pickled items such as garlic and beets. BUT! The absolute BEST was when I found out about and ordered me a freshly made (from scratch) Strawberry Shortcake! This was definitely the highlight of the trip! Fresh Strawberries from the fields across the street. Homemade Shortcake from the kitchen in the back and freshly made strawberry ice cream from those fresh strawberries!! You have to see the pic of this fabulously delicious dessert!! And guess what!! They are not even known for their Strawberries!! It's their PEACHES that they are famous for. They grow and produce around 12 to 14 different Peaches which will start producing in a few short weeks! Can you just imagine the different peach products that will come out of this cute country store. And the peach ice cream!! Oh my gosh! No stranger to all this because they have been doing it for over 5 generations!! I think (not sure) one of the oldest peach farms in Georgia! Will definitely be back later on in the spring and summer for some Sweet Georgia Peaches. Dickey Peaches are definitely doing it right!! read more

The food and ambience is great! The business is a family owned one. They are very hospitable and nice! I would definitely recommend it!

The Dickey Farms is a fully operational peach, strawberry and vegetable farm. They offer a historic trip in time to see the process of growing, harvesting and packaging fruits and vegetables from farm to market. They also have so many delicious treats such as ice cream, candies and edible foods that are locally grown and prepared. The staff was very polite and friendly when they addressed me and the customers in my presence. This small town business has been in operation for over 125 years so it lacks the AC or soft seating areas but it offers rocking chairs and ceiling fans on warm days. I recommend a visit to Musella, GA to see this wonderful business. read more

This was the most delicious strawberry and peaches soft serve I've ever had. I don't normally like fruit sorbet but this was fantastic. They even swirled the two flavors. While you ate you could watch the peach pack station which was fun and shop for other peach and Georgia products to buy. read more

This is one of my favorite peachy places in all of Georgia. They have peach ice cream, slushes, pickled peaches, baked peach loaves, fritters, and candy. I really enjoyed going there on a busy Saturday afternoon surrounded by other peach lovers. It almost felt like a festival. Several patients recommended Dickey Farms to me primary for the amazing ice cream but I had no idea they had a full array of all kinds of terrific farm market wares from locally grown fresh vegetables to fruit james and jellies to those delicious and delectable peach fritters. Whenever I visit my father I beg him to take me to Dickey Farms. We typically visit during the summer but this year we came down from Colorado for Thanksgiving. I was kinda bummed that we wouldnt be able to visit this amazing place and get delicious peach ice cream. After looking them up I realized that they were open and still serving ice cream. I was so excited. But this time I tried their Butter Pecan Ice Cream......AMAZING!!!!! I didnt think there could be better ice cream than the peach but I do believe I have a new favorite. I am so sad that I cant get this delicious ice cream at home. I will dream about it for months to come. I loved it!!!! read more

I lived in GA for a long time and don't know why I had to move to SC to finally go to Dickeys! While visiting my mom nearby, we decided to meet our family there on a Sunday morning. We enjoyed the rocking chairs, the ice cream and cobbler, and the massive July Prince peaches that were in season that week. Our grandsons really enjoyed climbing on the big red tractor, and the little one also enjoyed pushing the toddler-size shopping cart. There's a nice playground across the street but there is zero shade there, and the heat kept the kids from playing too long. For a protein fix, there's an old general store where they sell BBQ that is pretty good, and there is a large fruit stand with watermelons, tomatoes, etc. If you're worried about social distancing, there's plenty of space to spread out. All in all, it was a very nice outing that I highly recommend, especially in these stressful times. read more

Then each year a little less quality - until this year the worst..even after promised they would be great..as they should be because they are pricey. My dad, my toddler and I were "home alone" one weekend and decided to take a road trip. We stumbled across this little gem and decided to check it out. It's much more than a pit stop on a trip. It's an experience I would specifically drive to do again. I'm pretty sure we saw the whole town while on foot. The farm is set up in such a way that you can watch what the workers are doing. We enjoyed learning while watching them pack peaches. There was a farmers market set up across the street and across from that a cool little play area for kids. read more

Dickey Farms just went a wonderful extra mile for us. Since we haven't been able to fly home to Georgia during COVID, my sister had Dickey's ship peaches to us all the way to Hawaii. They arrived in great condition last year, and we enjoyed them so much. This year, the peaches were delayed in transit, through no fault of Dickey's. Dickey Farms is a peach orchard. Stop here to get some peach ice cream. The small cone I got must have had 4 peaches in it. You can also get peach preseves, salsa, hot sauce, butter, and really just about anything you can make from peaches. The processing barn has been there since the early part of the 20th century and is still is the original family. Also, don't miss the original store across the street that looks straight out of the 1930's. read more

I ordered their Chipotle Peach Salsa and their Peach Jelly online. It arrived today and I was SHOCKED to find out that they add calcium choloride and "natural flavor" to their chipotle salsa. "Natural flavor" is not a regulated term by the FDA. Most natural flavors are created in a lab in New Jersey and are not at all natural. And the Peach Jelley contains food coloring #40 red. What the heck?!? Isn't this supposed to be a healthy family farm? Why would they be adding totally unhealthy and unncessary additives to their products?? Very very disappointed. read more

I was driving back from Camp Grace, and stopped here to pick up some peaches. I was pleasantly surprised by the farm and the options. A basket was $12, a box was $20. They have some other things for sale, like fresh veggies and some canned goods. But the peaches are great and get a peach fritter too! read more

Came here on a vacation to Atlanta, we got there when they first opened so I don't know if they were barely waking up?? We felt unwelcomed, didn't get a hi when we walked in and no one asked us if we needed help with anything even though there were like 6 people in there. This is a great experience in the summer. This is where they process and package peaches. You can buy all things peach here but don't miss the fresh soft serve peach ice cream. It is excellent. We always leave with a box or two of fresh peaches after spending an hour on the old train platform on the rocking chairs. read more

Stopped here on the way home from FL after having some of their peach ice cream at a friends. YUM! Very neat place! Grab yourself a peach ice cream cone and chill in one of the rocking chairs on the large open but covered porch. Watch the peaches go thru the washer, picker and packer. Strawberry ice cream is just as good as the peach! We took home two xl containers of peach ice cream, a 20.00 box of peaches and 6 ears of fresh corn! Lots of other neat goodies to shop for like veggies, candies, salsas/relishes, honey and more. Great 'Sunday Drive' outing for the family. Be careful or you'll pass it, GPS was way off! read more
