We visited this place with some family. They have lots of things that you can buy. You can see peach production and sorting in real time as this is the back side of the building. You can buy fresh peaches right off the shelf. They have other things too like honey, salsa, eggs, shirts, cups, a bunch of farmers-market items. I got the strawberry icecream, and it was so yummy and not too sweet. The peach ice cream is very sweet! All of their ice cream is fresh (thats what I was told). The people are friendly, but the line moves fast so there isnt much talking! Its a bit loud in there, I could see it being overwhelming to a young child or someone who gets overstimulated a little easy. All in all I would go again !

First visit to Dickey Farms. It was packed! My brother in law thought we were about to pick strawberries. No sir! Not in this heat! I haven't done that in years. Go over yonder and get a container of already picked strawberries. That's just what he did. He got a green tomato also. We purchased 2 strawberry waffle cones, 2 large boiled peanuts and a peach fritter. Now umma tell you I'm not fond of animals wondering around food products. There was one there that was the "shop" dog so I guess he was the owner's. But then there were other lil dogs inside the gazebo that were not service animals. The Easter Bunny was on deck to snap photos with customers.

It was a beautiful weekend here in Georgia so decided to drive down to Central Georgia to do some strawberry picking. Stopped at Dickey Farms a few miles west of Macon in a small town called Musella. They have some of the most beautiful ruby red strawberries I have ever seen. Rows and rows of big juicy and delicious strawberries. So many that the carton was filled in no time. They have just the cutest country store with fresh vegetables and jars of amazing honey, jams, jellies and other assorted items. Also a full array of pickled items such as garlic and beets. BUT! The absolute BEST was when I found out about and ordered me a freshly made (from scratch) Strawberry Shortcake! This was definitely the highlight of the trip! Fresh Strawberries from the fields across the street. Homemade Shortcake from the kitchen in the back and freshly made strawberry ice cream from those fresh strawberries!! You have to see the pic of this fabulously delicious dessert!! And guess what!! They are not even known for their Strawberries!! It's their PEACHES that they are famous for. They grow and produce around 12 to 14 different Peaches which will start producing in a few short weeks! Can you just imagine the different peach products that will come out of this cute country store. And the peach ice cream!! Oh my gosh! No stranger to all this because they have been doing it for over 5 generations!! I think (not sure) one of the oldest peach farms in Georgia! Will definitely be back later on in the spring and summer for some Sweet Georgia Peaches. Dickey Peaches are definitely doing it right!!

The Dickey Farms is a fully operational peach, strawberry and vegetable farm. They offer a historic trip in time to see the process of growing, harvesting and packaging fruits and vegetables from farm to market. They also have so many delicious treats such as ice cream, candies and edible foods that are locally grown and prepared. The staff was very polite and friendly when they addressed me and the customers in my presence. This small town business has been in operation for over 125 years so it lacks the AC or soft seating areas but it offers rocking chairs and ceiling fans on warm days. I recommend a visit to Musella, GA to see this wonderful business.

Yummy, Yummy Peaches in my tummy! Whether you are in Musella, GA or placing an order online Dickey Farms is the only place to get your peaches!!! Staff is top notch, super friendly. Product is excellent, you can also purchase locally grown vegetables as well as fresh made backed good, frozen baked goods and assorted Amish items.

This was the most delicious strawberry and peaches soft serve I've ever had. I don't normally like fruit sorbet but this was fantastic. They even swirled the two flavors. While you ate you could watch the peach pack station which was fun and shop for other peach and Georgia products to buy.

This is one of my favorite peachy places in all of Georgia. They have peach ice cream, slushes, pickled peaches, baked peach loaves, fritters, and candy. I really enjoyed going there on a busy Saturday afternoon surrounded by other peach lovers. It almost felt like a festival. The customer service is full of warm, southern hospitality and the whole place is charming with antiques and peach-related memorabilia decor all around.

Great spot! Plenty of seating and shade. There's a market with all sort of canned goods and fresh produce and the ice cream is delicious and so flavorful! I got a small of the peach ice cream and it was so creamy and fresh.

I like. I like a lot. Several patients recommended Dickey Farms to me primary for the amazing ice cream but I had no idea they had a full array of all kinds of terrific farm market wares from locally grown fresh vegetables to fruit james and jellies to those delicious and delectable peach fritters. They are very popular with locals, and people come in groves just for the amazingly sweet peaches. I loves me a good farm market, and Dickey Farms lives up to the reputation of the being a quintessential farm market along a Georgia back road with all of the fixins. Enjoy your visit. I'll definitely be back.

Wonderful place to visit. Bring family or meet friends or go solo. We even asked for a tour! Eat peaches, learn about them, have ice cream and get the shirt--what a great tradition to appreciate and pass on to the next generation!

You can't miss here friends- the soft serve ice cream is hands down delicious. I here the butter pecan in the fall is the bomb as well. Peaches are tasty but the ice dreamy isn't why I go out of my way!

Whenever I visit my father I beg him to take me to Dickey Farms. We typically visit during the summer but this year we came down from Colorado for Thanksgiving. I was kinda bummed that we wouldnt be able to visit this amazing place and get delicious peach ice cream. After looking them up I realized that they were open and still serving ice cream. I was so excited. But this time I tried their Butter Pecan Ice Cream......AMAZING!!!!! I didnt think there could be better ice cream than the peach but I do believe I have a new favorite. I am so sad that I cant get this delicious ice cream at home. I will dream about it for months to come. I loved it!!!!

Excellent ice cream. Despite the crowds the three of us managed to sit in rocking chairs to enjoy our frozen treats on a very hot day.

This family ran business is fun and filled with old farm equipment, classic cars, goats, pigs, chickens and stuff you may never have seen before, at least not on one piece of property. The family (staff) here are all engaged in the business a few tending the store and bbq pit, a few behind push mowers keeping the grass at bay and an old man on a old tractor dragging a box-blade across the gravel road and dirt drives. This is a self-guided tour so there's no rush here and there's plenty of shade and seats scattered around the properly to rest your bones. We had just eaten lunch prior to arriving so we didn't get a chance to taste the ribs, pulled pork sandwiches or boiled peanuts but did check out the produce and grabbed a few fresh Georgia Peach to take back to the camper - ripe, sweet and juicy. The strawberries were huge, juicy and super sweet. It was a bit muddy but that's honestly the best time to pick them. As a side note the berries are across the street and with Newton County slowly growing crossing the street can be a bit hectic. Thankfully the kids we were with were between the ages of 6-9 so it was a bit easier to cross the street. But none the less still hectic. We went on a Saturday during peak hours which the kids enjoyed because there were so many new possible friends to be made while playing on the on-site playground. Plenty of photo worthy backgrounds, plenty of ripe berries and 10/10 worth every penny. Everyone that worked on the day we visited were super sweet and attentive. Not to mention patient. No worries as the line was not that long. We got our PVC tubing and clippers (both provided by them), and started to pick. There was a good selection and the field seemed full. After about 30 minutes and a lot of photo ops, we were done and they wrap and tie your lavender for you. It was a great experience! We then went to the shop to get some food, but all they had were drinks and dessert type items, so main course foods. There is an opportunity there for sure!
