Clean restaurant, friendly staff, great lunch & dinner specials. Large portions. Great selection of beers on tap! What else do you want? Oh ... STEAK! Yea... they got that too. I had the chicken sandwich last visit. Holy hell it was huge. If you can finish it + the fries.... You will need a serious nap. read more

Finally got to Rolla to try Longhorn and it was not a good impression. Seated quickly and in a booth. Appreciated that. Server was fine. She became more engaged when, I believe, she saw we were not having the best experience so I give 4/5 stars for noticing but also because she was more attentive and gave me an extra plate quickly when I asked bc of the steak swimming in clarified butter that was supposed to be in a separate dish for the lobster instead of floating around the plate. Ribeye was actually really thin. You can see in the pics, about the same size as a thin ribeye from a recent grocery purchase I made. It was actually cooked well - for the size I would have expected overdone. Biggest issue is when I cut a piece and started to chew I had the shockwave from teeth on bone. A little chunk of bone was still in the ribeye. Pic included. I told her after we paid so she could warm the kitchen staff. Ribs - fine. Lobster - rubber. Could have thrown it across the room and it would have bounced at least twice. See pics. Also, the butter issue. Sides - side salad was crisp and the cucumber was fresh. Mash was interesting, and that could be because it's processed potato, a gluey issue from over-mixing, or that it was also taking a swim in the spilled butter. Fries were very tasty. Mac was okay. Overall spend with drinks was $109 with a 20% tip. I would not say it was worth it. We basically ate the salad and bread and called it a day. read more

After a long day on the road, LongHorn Steakhouse in Rolla was exactly the kind of stop we needed. I went with the 6-ounce sirloin, paired with a baked sweet potato and fresh steamed broccoli. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked just the way I wanted, with a nice grilled finish that gave it that classic steakhouse taste. The broccoli was hot and fresh, and the sweet potato was a perfect side after a full day of travel, warm, filling, and a great complement to the steak. I also started with a Caesar salad, which was fresh and loaded with crunchy croutons and shaved parmesan. This made for a very satisfying dinner stop just off I-44, and it was an easy, dependable place to unwind for the evening in Rolla. Excellent food and fantastic service! On our way to Springfield, Missouri, we stopped at LongHorn Steakhouse in Rolla. We sat at the bar so we wouldn't have to wait--perfect for making good time on the road. We ordered sirloin steaks, which were cooked perfectly, along with mushrooms, asparagus, and a bowl of French onion soup. Everything was delicious--the asparagus was tender and flavorful, and the French onion soup was rich and done just right. It was definitely worth the stop for a solid, satisfying meal while traveling. We also met some really great people! Our bartender, Sarah, was especially wonderful--sweet, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. She's clearly a hard worker and takes pride in what she does. I also loved learning that she's a flight attendant for American Airlines--that explains her friendly, polished personality. Wishing her all the best; she truly made our visit memorable. read more

Staff was very nice and restaurant was nice. I ordered Flo's filet and the steak I was served was not a filet mignon. I am very familiar with cuts of steak, I brought it to their attention and was brought another that looked exactly like the first one.I have never seen a filet mignon so flat.. also it should practically melt in your mouth and this steak definitely did not. It was good but I don't believe it was a filet. Staff was very professional and nice while accommodating my issue. read more

We have eaten at other longhorns but this was our first, and not our last, trip to our local spot. Clean and well managed. We had a visit from the manager and Courtney was super as a server. Enough food to have leftovers and the food was cooked how we ordered it. This would be an anniversary place of any other special occasion read more

The store in Rolla MO just isn't that enjoyable. Music tends to be too loud and at times the service is only fair. The last time we were there the steaks were not impressive and we haven't been back. The one in Springfield MO has always been good with a pleasant atmosphere. In general a little pricey for what you get. read more

We stopped in for a quick lunch and a beer. The restaurant itself is very clean and the service is great. We sat in the bar area and the server was prompt and responsive. The food is always good at Longhorn. No matter what state or what location, I find consistency at every location, and pencil this location was no exception. Everything we ordered was hot and perfectly cooked. read more

Sitting at T.J. Max parking lot waiting for my wife, shopping, thinking hungry. We always go to Culver's once a week but would like to treat her to a nicer experience and meal, so we come to the steak place.. They get us in at timely manner nice table, atmosphere a little loud music competing with people but I suppose that's the norm. We order drinks and a appetizer, delivery time normal not exceptional, order our meal, our side of restaurant starting to thin out, wait time 45 minutes, she ordered salmon and I ordered 12oz ribeye, that's a 10 minute prep time ok meal is delivered and my wife's salmon meal is adequate not great, my steak was ask to be medium with loaded bake potato, steak was raw and potato had butter I show it to server with out a word from me and she says oh my it's raw in 80% of center and potato isn't loaded. She takes it back and I get it back fifteen to twenty minutes latter after my wife has finished her meal, "she's a slow eater". Ok steaks right and potato, well if you call that loaded I should run to the store and buy them some supplies ! I eat the potato that is cold and half way into my meal have lost my appetite. I take out a twenty for the server, she was excellent, I didn't complain, the manager come over and ask how every thing was in a very loud voice that made everyone turn to us and look like we were complainers and he decides to take twenty off our eight dollar bill, "NOT EXCEPTIONAL" We leave feeling used not like a nice evening of my wife of 41 years. I thought about it and called the next day and talked to Randy the Assistant manager and explained about our evening, he ask what I want, I ask him to roll it around and think about it, gave my number and email, nothing. So I will tell all of you, I wanted Hospitality...... read more

Let me start with saying that I have no complaints about the food or the service, both are great. The BIG complaint we have is that the music is so LOUD you can't have a conversation with others at your table!!!! About the only person you can hear is the one sitting next to you. It makes no sense to have the music so loud. We have noticed that sometimes even the servers have trouble hearing when taking orders. If there are more than 2-3 people we have stopped going there due to the loudness. read more

Did not care for the service. I had lunch steak salad but it was very sparse amount of sirloin and dry. Husband had chicken sandwich and it was dry and not very good either. Music was loud. Didn't get refill on water and had to wait 10 Minutes to get ketchup. Not like the Jefferson City location. read more

Ah yes the server was a little too personal with my husband she recognized him from time spent in a local gym. She touched his shoulder then continued gushing about how she sees him at this local gym. It was our wedding anniversary and I really wasn't thrilled on watching her make a spectacle of herself. Please speak to your employees that working the tip right from the get go is rude and carrying on about someones husband is even more rude. She is fortunate I am not a physical person and slap her. Also the steaks were cold and she did not have any of my order correct except the drink. She had also promised a 10% discount for military the evening of Jan 8th which was not reflected on the receipt. The errors did reflect in her tip. read more

I guess it was late at night and the waiters were late, but there's never any excuse to speak to customer with cool respect and attention

They burned my steak. Not over cooked burned. The wait staff were attentive and seemed to be eager to help, but how do you fix a burnt steak , you can't. The potato soup was actually pretty good, no complaints about it. But I went to a steak house and they burned my steak, it's literally the reason you go there. Stay away from this place. read more

Been sitting here on a Non-busy lunch hour. Ironically, sitting here for an hour, and still don't have our food... Had to go ask for someone to come and take our drink orders to even get started. About ready to just walk out. Update: Manager came by and I told him of our complaints and he did comp our food. Just had to pay for the beer. Which we did up getting two because the service was so slow - needed something to do lol. read more

Service at the bar from the bartender Courtney was terrible. From the time we sat down to when we left we felt like more of an inconvenience then a guest. However the food was very good. Not once were we asked how our food was. And at $35 a plate this is not acceptable. read more

So our last visit to Longhorn we was eating with the family and I was not done with my food and I went to the bathroom and the waitress came by and picked it up. They were so busy. I tried to get someone and tell them and they never came. They already dropped off the check and that was it. I wanted to pack it up but I did not get to the waitresses and waiters need to work on stuff like this I was really upset read more

Everything was outstanding. Service, food, cocktails and desert. Both my wife and I thought it was tops!

Great service. The service was amazing but the steaks were way over salted, it was hard to eat if they could dial down the spices it would help a lot. The chicken and salmon were seasoned perfectly. The beer needs to be a bit colder. I will try again. read more

We got to go to the soft opening tonight at the new Longhorns in Rolla and it was definitely worth the wait. It's a beautiful new restaurant. We were seated right away, the service was very quick and nice. Our waiter Samra was extremely helpful and so nice to us and our son. We met a corp trainer named Jeff and he was very friendly and checked on us multiple times. It was a really great experience. The food was 100 times better than my expectations. I got the porterhouse, my wife got the salmon and they were both perfectly cooked, Probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. Sometimes when you get a porterhouse, it's kinda stringy and all that. The one I had at Longhorns was nothing like that, it was a very nice cut of meat, perfectly cooked and extremely delicious. I ordered a Moscow Mule that was made perfectly. Even their peach tea was very delicious. Their sides incredible. The brussels sprout side I highly recommend, super delicious. We can't wait to go back. read more

The food is pretty fast and very good. The waiters and waitress' are fast and friendly. HOWEVER, the music is very, very loud during dinner rush. It takes away from the ambiance a bit when you have to yell at the people at your table just to have a conversation. Other than that, the service is good and so are the wait times. read more

This LongHorn Steakhouse has never disappointed! In addition to every meal and steak being top notch, we have had the best experience with every visit.
