First of all we got sat right away so i thought we were there at the perfect time, 6:00 pm on Friday. I expected them to be busier, but was pleased to see that they were not. I looked at my watch as we sat down, not for any particular reason, but it was 6:01. As we sat there, no eye contact was made by any server and we sat there for six minutes without anybody greeting us. Finally, a young gentleman came from the restroom area and he greeted us and he was a very nice and very conscientious server. I had steak and shrimp. We had firecracker wraps in the beginning and the food was delicious. Darian was our server and he did a fabulous job. Now the reason I gave three stars, I have been in the food industry for over 35 years and I have always believed that customer service is the most important aspect of any servers job. Sitting there for six minutes without one person saying a word was uncalled for. When a host seats you, she is to make sure that that server knows he has a table, that is how I trained my hostesses. When other servers pass a table that they can clearly see no one has approached, they too are responsible for making sure that these customers have been spoken to. We are all supposed to be team players. There was absolutely no team playing in that whole scenario. I don't blame Darian. I blame everybody else. read more

Came in for dinner & must say i was very disappointed. Waited over 10 minutes for wild shrimp appetizer. Once it finally made it out it was cold. Tried talking to the server multiple times but she would speed past the table fast to not have to stop by. With me being a server myself, I'm highly dissatisfied & disappointed. My last trip here was the exact same way, not sure if it's due to them thinking they're not going to get tipped or what, but you never know what you'd get again I'm a server myself. read more

Went in around 10:05 with a party of 6. Restaurant was not very packed as we observed 10 or more open booths and tables. We were told that they couldn't make a table for six so we said that we could split up the party into 2. Then we were told that it was too late for that big of a party and that we couldn't be served AT ALL. Would not recommend PERIOD read more

Maddie was GREAT. But this is not a fast food restaurant. The app, salad and main were all set down by staff within seconds. Sit talk and enjoy the table - no chance at that speed. Great service from Chasia. Our salad came first allowing time to finish before the steaks. Server asked about salad dressing and gave us them on the side. The steaks were perfect and the bake potato was hot and the sweet potato was hot even when finishing up the steak. I don't know how they do that because they are not wrapped in aluminum foil. Upon sitting down at the table I noticed a greasy mess on it and asked them to wipe it. They wipes all of the table except for where the grease spot was, even after I pointed it out to them. I went there for lunch with my girlfriend, and the lady at the hostess stand was a little rude, but nothing I couldn't look past. Then we went to get seated. This table we were sat at still had plates on it. They took the plates off, but the table was still disgusting. They didn't wipe it. We already knew what we wanted: our order of drinks, appetizers, and food. Our server never came to check on us. It was towards the end of my meal when I got a drink refill. Having been to a Longhorns chain steakhouse in the previous 33 years. We had house guest from Germany and for some reason this is where they wanted to go. I couldn't divert them, it was their treat. A Friday night, reasonably busy, not swamped, our waitress was fine. I can't vouch for our guest meals, all I can talk about was what myself and my spouse split. Grilled Lamb Chops. We didn't complain, we sat there and divided the meal, our chops were absolutely cold. This reinforced why it'd been 33 years since we had eaten in one of these. Logan's Roadhouse in Spanish Fort is superior, larger portions, cheaper, and the food is served hot. Long wait on a rainy Friday night. Almost too long to say the wait was worth it. The small waiting area and bar are a tight fit when the waiting is standing room only for over 45 minutes. Took a long time to even get a drink to help pass the time. Once we finally got a table it took a long time to get our order taken and when the food finally arrived it was literally like the plates of food were thrown on the table with sauces flying off the plates and spilling leaving us to clean up the mess. Yes, it was that busy and the servers were doing their best to get the food out as fast as they could. The five stars is for the awesome steak I received. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection! Tip: do give this place a try on an evening it isn't so crowded that you have a difficult time enjoying the experience. We've lived here for 1 year and are just now getting around to trying Longhorn Steakhouse. I wish we had tried it sooner because it is very good steak. My wife's sirloin was seasoned and cooked perfectly, medium well. She said the bleu cheese was "some of the best she's had". My steakhouse cheeseburger was so good, quality meat, cooked just right. They were busy, but we didn't have to wait and the service was really good. Its not the cheapest place to eat ($74 for 5) but it's worth it, we'll be back. 4.5 stars read more

We visited this restaurant last night and had one of the most terrible dining experiences I've personally ever had in my life. I'm not one to complain. I'll eat a steak cooked wrong, I'll wait patiently if I see a server who's super busy and I don't go to management about anything unless it's a big deal. We waited 40 min to be sat, 20 min for our drinks. The french onion soup was barely warm and the cheese wasn't melted. Our salads were drenched in dressing so I couldn't eat mine(our server didn't even ask to bring another and I was afraid to ask bc she wasn't very nice). Fast forward to dinner (almost 40 min later) and I found a hair under my potato on my plate. So I alerted the runner, the manager came over, and a new one was sent out. The new one had another hair but a different one and it seemed to look like a pubic hair. This time it was under my chicken. Luckily I didn't eat that side of the chicken but at this point I wanted to throw up and walked out of the restaurant just in case I got sick. The server didn't seem to mind. I felt I was extremely understanding when I sent it back the first time. Even told the manager that I've been a server before...it happens. But the second time was intentional. And this experience really made me think about ever going to another long horn again. Or any restaurant for that matter. Just a completely evil act that I'm sure was a joke in the kitchen. I'm truly disgusted this morning and I hope and pray this place and this person heal bc doing things like this to people isn't the answer. I would need pages to describe how bad the service was. No wait for a table but 3 employees standing around the hostess stand and we had to wait for the designated seater to return to take us to a table. When we arrived around noon on November 5th, the Daphne store was not that busy, in that only about 6-8 tables had customers. We were told that they only had 1 server who could handle a party of 5, and they had just given that server 2 parties. We were asked to wait for 10-15 minutes until that one server was freed up. There were at least 3 parties behind us, 4 or less per party, and they were immediately seated. This has always been one of my favorite steakhouses, tonight I made the decision to go with seafood and got the Redrock grilled shrimp with the tomato butter. This comes with a salad, rice, a side and bread. I did not want the rice, so I asked for broccoli. The Caesar Salad was good and the tomato butter was fantastic. They brought me two orders of broccoli since I did not get the rice and it was well prepared... the main item, the shrimp was not up to par. Far over cooked, which is something I was fearful of at a steak place. The person in our party who had the 8 oz Foley loved it and another got a burger and they said it was great as well.
