This was my first time going, and my server Victoria was super nice and very attentive. She recommended what to get based on the price point, which I really appreciated. I got the snow crab legs, and they were a great size with plenty of meat. I also tried the crawfish, but I wasn't a huge fan -- although I'm not usually a crawfish eater anyway, so I mainly wanted to try them. I also got a frozen strawberry margarita and a peach lemon drop -- both were 10/10! One thing I really loved was that they give you large bowls to dump your seafood bag into instead of dumping it directly on the table. It made everything way less messy and so much easier to enjoy. There are several TVs located throughout for the sports buff. Be aware: They do not have a liquor license, yet. But, the sweet tea is decent. She checked on us, kept our drinks filled, and was able to offer suggestions. Food: It pains me to say this, for the price it is simply not worth it. We live on the bay, and one thing we have plenty of around here is fresh seafood. If you're going to be a seafood restaurant, then you must take that into account and have the answer to why we should visit you when there are plenty of local restaurants with good seafood. I ordered the clam chowder. While it was flavorful and even full of potatoes, it was watery. No cream. At all. Water. And very few clams. I had a few spoonfuls but didn't finish it. I also ordered the "weekend special" which was Alaskan crab legs, lobster tail, steamed shrimp with corn and potatoes for $33.00. It was kinda pitiful. And, there were 2 little russet potatoes. See for yourself (pics included). Not worth it. There isn't any conecuh sausage in it either. You must buy the sausage starting at $6 per 1/2 pound. My date ordered the $12 fried shrimp basket. It was about right. Just a shrimp basket with exactly 8 shrimp. Nice batter, very little flavor. Just don't. Hub and I went in for a Wednesday date night after a long day at work, our first time since they opened. I was SO disappointed to see the changes to the decor. Previously as Zea's, the decor was warm and classy with relaxing atmosphere and low lighting. The interrogation-quality lighting they have now and the kitschy nautical theme makes the place just look tacky and uncomfortable. The staff was apparently confused as to which tables they were assigned to, maybe it's a free-for-all, I'm not sure. Drinks were served in clear plastic to-go cups with lids. Not what you'd expect with table service. Hub ordered a catfish basket, I did the shrimp. For the baskets you get the protein you choose and it comes with fries. That's it. No hush puppies, no cold slaw, no anything else unless you order it separately. We did order the hush puppy app and I have to say they were pretty good. However, though I really liked the batter they use for the shrimp, sadly they were over-cooked. Hub's fish was extremely greasy and he said the flesh was dry. I was already put off by my tough shrimp so I politely declined to taste his dry fish. My waitress brought me a tea refill.... I took a sip and couldn't drink it - I had ordered unsweet and she brought me sweet. For the same amount you'd spend at this place you would get more food and better quality going someplace else. When they close (and they will) I hope someone reopens the location with the intimate relaxing atmosphere the space is really great for. Having a rare opportunity to have a date night during the week is a real bummer when the experience was so bad. In their defense, they were doing pretty good business, mostly families with kids - mostly your Red Lobster crowd. Red Lobster would have been better. read more

I was actually a little discouraged by the prices as of course, growing up in Texas seafood prices are a bit pricey and these were on par for what I'd do in Austin. We ordered 4 of the "Weekend Special's" and a round of the steamed oysters! It was pretty good! I ordered their featured choice of the seasoning for my order with the medium level of heat. I am not a fan of extremely spicy food, however I like my seafood to have a bit of kick. The medium level was perfect for me! The service was okay and I definitely think it could have been better. There seemed to be a lot of younger waiters and waitresses, and I believe the restaurant had just opened, so I'm sure the service will improve. The major con that I experienced this visit was the lack of alcohol. They had not obtained their liquor license yet at the time of my visit. read more
